Episode 10 - WWJD - What Does Jesus Expect From Us?
Many people claim Jesus. Many wear the label Christian. But what did Jesus actually expect from those who follow Him?In Episode 10 of the #WWJD series, we move from understanding who Jesus is and why He came to a deeply personal question:What does Jesus expect from us?Because Jesus never invited people to simply admire Him.He said: “Follow Me.”In this episode we explore what discipleship truly means according to Jesus:• What it means to follow Him, not just agree with Him• Why Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and take up our cross• What it looks like to love others the way He loved• Why obedience is connected to genuine faith• How followers of Jesus are called to participate in His missionFollowing Jesus is not casual. It is not cultural. It is transformative. And once we understand what He expects, the question becomes personal:Are we truly following Him — or simply agreeing with Him?Listen as we continue the #WWJD series and explore what it really means to live as a disciple of Jesus.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode where we discuss:What Does Following Jesus Look Like in Everyday Life?Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 15 - ChristFirst - Crucified with Christ
Most people want Jesus…but not the death that comes with following Him.We want peace…but not surrender. We want purpose…but not the cross. But Jesus was clear:“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23 This episode marks the beginning of the #ChristFirst series—a shift from simply asking “What Would Jesus Do?” to truly understanding what it means to follow Him completely.Because following Jesus is not about adding Him to your life…👉 It’s about dying to yourself.⸻🔍 In This Episode, We Explore:• What it truly means to be crucified with Christ• The foundation of Galatians 2:20 and Christian identity• What this calling does NOT mean (common misconceptions)• What it actually looks like in daily life• The real, honest struggle between flesh vs Spirit• How surrender leads to true transformation⸻📖 Key Truth“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…” — Galatians 2:20 This is not symbolic language.👉 This is a complete redefinition of identity. Not improved. Not upgraded.Crucified.⸻🔥 The RealityBeing crucified with Christ means:• Your old self is no longer in control• Your desires no longer sit on the throne• Your life is no longer centered on youAnd this isn’t a one-time decision…👉 It’s daily.Choosing:• Humility over pride• Obedience over comfort• Truth over compromise⸻⚔️ Real TalkWe often want Jesus as Savior…but struggle with Him as Lord.We say, “Take control”…but only in the areas we’re comfortable surrendering. But Jesus asks for more than partial surrender.👉 He asks for everything.⸻✨ The PromiseWhen you die to self…you don’t lose your life—👉 you find it.Because a life surrendered to Christ is not empty…👉 it is transformed.⸻🙏 Final ReflectionAs you listen, take a moment and ask yourself:👉 What am I still holding onto?👉 What have I not surrendered?Because following Jesus was never meant to be comfortable…👉 it was meant to be transformational.⸻🔔 Subscribe & ShareIf this episode challenged you, share it with someone who needs to hear it.And follow Real Talk with Vince as we continue the #ChristFirst series—going deeper into what it truly means to live with Christ at the center of everything.

Episode 14 - WWJD - Putting It All Together
You can know what Jesus would do…and still not do it.You can study His words, understand His heart, and even discern wisely—yet still keep yourself at the center. In Episode 14, the final episode of the #WWJD series, we bring everything together and confront the deeper question:Is Jesus truly first in our lives?Because “What Would Jesus Do?” was never meant to stop at understanding. It was meant to lead to surrender. In this episode we explore:• A powerful recap of what we’ve learned throughout the series• The limitations of WWJD without true surrender• The deeper shift found in Galatians 2:20 — dying to self and living in Christ• The role of the Holy Spirit in guiding our daily decisions• What it actually looks like to live with Christ first in real lifeWWJD can guide behavior. But only surrender transforms the heart. This episode challenges us to move beyond imitation and into something deeper:Not just asking what Jesus would do…but allowing Him to live through us.As we close this series, the question becomes personal:Where am I still first? And am I willing to surrender that to Christ? This episode marks the transition into a new direction:#ChristFirstBecause knowing Jesus is the beginning. But putting Him first is the transformation.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss what’s next as we step into a deeper walk of faith, surrender, and Spirit-led living.Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 13 - WWJD - How Do We Discern What Jesus Would Do Today?
People often say, “Jesus would…” and then fill in the blank with their opinion.Across politics, cultures, and denominations, people confidently claim that Jesus supports their position. But how do we know we’re not simply projecting our own preferences onto Him?In Episode 13 of the #WWJD series, we explore a crucial question:How do we actually discern what Jesus would do today?Because not every issue we face today appears directly in the Gospels. Culture is complex, situations are layered, and if we’re not careful, we can begin reshaping Jesus into our own image instead of allowing Him to reshape us.In this episode we examine several biblical principles for discernment:• Start with Scripture, not assumption• Examine the motives of our own hearts• Hold grace and truth together• Consider the fruit our responses produce• Stay anchored in prayer and humilityDiscernment requires more than strong opinions. It requires Scripture, self-examination, wisdom, and a heart aligned with Christ.Because the goal of asking “What Would Jesus Do?” was never to win arguments — it was to know Jesus deeply enough that our lives begin to reflect His character. As this episode concludes the #WWJD series, we’re left with an important reflection:When we say “Jesus would…”, is it rooted in Scripture, shaped by prayer, and aligned with His heart?Or are we sometimes attaching His name to our instincts?Listen as we explore how discernment protects us from distortion and helps us remain anchored to the true heart of Christ.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode as we transition into a new series:#ChristFirstSeek truth.Christ first.

Episode 12 - WWJD - How Jesus Responded to People and Situations?
How did Jesus respond when people were broken, hostile, sinful, or desperate? The Gospels show us that Jesus did not treat everyone the same. His responses were always intentional, truthful, and perfectly aligned with His heart and mission. In Episode 12 of the #WWJD series, we examine how Jesus interacted with different kinds of people and situations—and what those responses reveal about His wisdom, compassion, and authority.Throughout His ministry, Jesus responded with:• Compassion toward the hurting and marginalized• Patience toward those who were searching for truth• Forgiveness toward repentant sinners• Bold confrontation toward hypocrisy and religious pride• Calm authority in moments of chaos and conflictJesus was never reactionary. He was never manipulated by crowds, pressure, or politics.Every response revealed both His character and His mission.By studying how Jesus responded to people and situations, we begin to see a pattern that challenges us as His followers:Are we responding to the world the way Jesus did? This episode continues the #WWJD series, helping us move beyond asking “What would Jesus do?” to understanding how Jesus actually lived, spoke, and responded to the people around Him.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode as we continue exploring what it truly means to follow Jesus in a complicated world.Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 11 - WWJD - Becoming Like Jesus
It’s possible to act like Jesus… and still not know His heart. Many people try to imitate the actions of Jesus, but without understanding His character, we risk misrepresenting Him.In Episode 11 of the #WWJD series, we slow down and explore something deeper than behavior:The heart and character of Jesus.Because becoming like Christ is not just about what He did — it’s about understanding what moved Him.In this episode we explore key traits that defined the heart of Jesus:• His compassion for the broken and hurting• His courage to confront hypocrisy and injustice• His humility despite possessing all authority• His integrity and purity in both public and private life• His perfect balance of grace and truthYou can imitate actions without carrying the spirit behind them. But when we truly understand the heart of Jesus, transformation begins from the inside out. This episode continues the journey through the #WWJD series, helping us move from simply asking “What would Jesus do?” to understanding who Jesus truly is.Because the deeper question becomes:Do we know His heart well enough to reflect it?Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode where we explore how the character of Jesus shapes how we live, lead, and respond in everyday life.Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 9 - WWJD - Why Did Jesus Come?
Why did Jesus come? Not why culture says He came. Not why institutions claim He came. But why Jesus Himself said He came.In Episode 9 of the #WWJD series, we explore the mission of Jesus according to His own words and the testimony of Scripture.Because if we misunderstand His mission, we will inevitably misrepresent His message. In this episode we explore:• Why Jesus said He came to seek and save the lost• What it means that He came to serve and give His life as a ransom• How Jesus revealed the true nature of the Father• Why His Kingdom is not of this world• What it means that He came so we may have lifeJesus did not come to build political power. He did not come to start a cultural movement. He came with a clear purpose:Rescue.Reconciliation.Redemption.And once we understand His mission, the next question becomes deeply personal:What does it mean to follow Him?Listen as we continue the journey through the #WWJD series and explore the mission that defines the message of Jesus.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode where we explore:What Does Jesus Expect From Us?Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 8 - WWJD - What did Jesus Do?
Anyone can make claims.Anyone can say they were sent by God.Anyone can claim authority. But actions reveal the truth. In Episode 8 of the #WWJD series, we move beyond what Jesus said and examine how He actually lived. Did His life confirm His claims—or contradict them?In this episode we explore:• Why Jesus consistently moved toward the broken and marginalized• Why His strongest words were directed at religious hypocrisy• How He exercised power—but refused to exploit it• Why He willingly walked toward the cross• How the resurrection claim changes everythingThe life of Jesus reveals a powerful paradox:Authority with compassion.Truth with humility.Power expressed through sacrifice. If His actions truly aligned with His claims, then we are not just studying a historical figure—we are encountering a King who washes feet and forgives enemies. And that raises a deeper question for all of us:What do we do with a King like that?Listen in as we explore what the life of Jesus reveals about who He really is—and what that might mean for us today.🎧 Part of the ongoing #WWJD series on Real Talk with Vince.Follow the podcast so you don’t miss the next episode where we explore:Why Did Jesus Come?Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 7 - WWJD - What Did Jesus Claim to Be?
In the previous episode, we explored an important question: Was Jesus a real historical person?Serious scholarship — including non-Christian sources — confirms that Jesus of Nazareth lived in first-century Judea, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and sparked a movement that changed the world. But that leads to a much more personal and uncomfortable question:What did Jesus actually claim about Himself? Many people today are comfortable describing Jesus as a great moral teacher, a wise rabbi, or an inspiring spiritual leader. But when we look carefully at the Gospels, Jesus did not leave us that option. He made bold claims. He claimed authority to forgive sins.He accepted worship. He claimed eternal existence. He claimed a unique relationship with the Father. And He declared that He alone is “the way, the truth, and the life.”If those claims were false, everything collapses. If they were true, everything changes. In this episode, we examine Jesus’ own words and explore the question that has echoed throughout history:Who do you say that He is?Because Jesus does not leave us with the comfortable option of simply admiring Him.His words force a decision.⸻In this episode we explore: Was Jesus just a good moral teacher? The meaning behind the titles “Son of Man” and “Son of God” The powerful “I AM” statements in the Gospel of John The famous dilemma: Liar, Lunatic, or Lord⸻Next EpisodeEpisode 8 — What Did Jesus Do?Because claims alone are not enough. Anyone can make claims. The real question is whether Jesus’ actions confirmed what He said about Himself.⸻Real Talk with VinceSeek truth.Put Christ first.Let Him define Himself.

Episode 6-WWJD - Who Is Jesus? (History, Not Hearsay)
Who Is Jesus? (History, Not Hearsay)Before doctrine. Before devotion. Before debate. We must ask a more basic question:Was Jesus of Nazareth a real person in history? In this episode, we examine the historical evidence for Jesus — not just from the Bible, but from non-Christian sources such as Tacitus, Josephus, and Pliny the Younger. We look at first-century context, Roman records, and early eyewitness testimony to establish what serious scholarship overwhelmingly affirms:Jesus existed. The real question is not whether He lived — but who He was. This episode lays the historical foundation for the #WWJD series. Because before we ask, “What would Jesus do?” we must know whether the Jesus we’re talking about is myth… or history.Next Episode:#WWJD — What Did Jesus Claim to Be?Because once history establishes the Person… His words demand a response.Seek truth.Christ first.

Episode 5-WWJD Series Introduction
For years, Christians have asked the question:What Would Jesus Do?But what if we’ve been answering that question without first asking a more important one…Who is Jesus? In this episode, we begin the #WWJD series by going back to the foundation. Before behavior. Before politics. Before culture wars. Before assumptions. We talk about:• Why this series exists• How Jesus is often misrepresented in modern culture• Why knowing His heart matters more than quoting His words• Why we must understand who He is before trying to imitate Him• How learning the historical and biblical Jesus strengthens your faith and witnessThis series is not about promoting ideologies or winning arguments. It’s about knowing Christ — so that our lives, words, and responses begin to look like His.If we truly want to be like Jesus, we must first know Him.This is where #WWJD begins again.🔔 Subscribe so you don’t miss the next episode:Who Jesus Is — History, Not Hearsay👍 If this episode encouraged you, consider liking and sharing it with someone who wants a deeper understanding of Jesus.💬 Leave a comment:What does “Christlike” mean to you? Please take a moment to like and subscribe to my YouTube Channel.Follow me on:IG: @realtalkwithvinceTikTok: @realtalkwithvinceSpotify: @realtalkwithvinceApple Podcast: @realtalkwithvinceThank you for taking the time to listen, watch, follow my channel! Episode 4-What It Could Have Been | The Gospel vs. Culture (Final Part)
What if that moment had looked different? In the final episode of The Gospel vs. Culture, we move beyond critique and into holy imagination.Instead of asking what went wrong, we ask:What would it have looked like if Jesus Christ had truly been the center? Not referenced. Not symbolized. Not used. But lifted up.Super Bowl week wasn’t just a cultural stage. It was a mission field.Millions were watching—skeptics, skeptics, the wounded, the disillusioned, the spiritually curious. And Jesus said:“When I am lifted up… I will draw all people to Myself.” (John 12:32)In this episode, we explore:• What unmistakably Christ-centered witness looks like• Why the Gospel must be clear—not coded• The difference between influence and faithfulness• Why the real war is spiritual, not political (Ephesians 6:12)• What it means to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20)Because the goal of the Church is not dominance. It is discipleship. The victory is not “our side won.”The victory is a soul coming home.If we truly want to change culture, it begins with repentance, humility, and lifting up Jesus above every nation, party, and platform.Christ first.Follow Real Talk with Vince for future series as we continue pursuing clarity, conviction, and Christ-centered faith in a divided world.#RealTalkWithVince#GospelVsCulture#ChristFirst#KingdomFirst#JesusIsLord#SeekFirstTheKingdom#ChristianPodcast#Discipleship

Episode 3-Christ First vs. Culture First | The Gospel vs. Culture (Part 2)
In Part 1, we examined the moment. Now we examine the heart. In this episode of The Gospel vs. Culture, we move beyond Super Bowl week and into something deeper—divided allegiance.Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters.” (Matthew 6:24)That wasn’t political. It was spiritual. So the question isn’t whether Christians should care about culture. The question is:Are we being shaped by the Kingdom of God…or by the kingdoms of this world? In this episode, we explore:• What culture-first Christianity actually looks like• How fear becomes a tool of discipleship• Why quoting Scripture isn’t the same as submitting to Christ• The difference between control and repentance• What Jesus meant when He said, “My Kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36)• How to recognize movements by their fruit (Matthew 7:16)This is not about attacking people. It’s about examining direction.Because when Christians prioritize national victory over Gospel clarity, we may gain influence—but lose our witness. The real war is not political. It is spiritual. And the real question is this:If someone watched your faith in action, would they be drawn to Jesus…or drawn to a side?Follow Real Talk with Vince and prepare for Part 3 — What It Could Have Been, where we imagine what bold, unmistakably Christ-centered witness looks like on the biggest cultural stage in America.Christ first.#RealTalkWithVince#GospelVsCulture#ChristFirst#KingdomFirst#FaithOverFear#JesusIsLord#Discipleship#SeekFirstTheKingdom

Episode 2-The Moment and the Missed Opportunity | The Gospel vs. Culture (Part 1)
Super Bowl week gave Christians one of the largest cultural platforms in America.Millions were watching. The stage was set.The opportunity was massive. But was Jesus truly lifted up?In Part 1 of The Gospel vs. Culture series, we examine what happened during Super Bowl week and ask a difficult but necessary question:Did we see Christ proclaimed clearly…or culture defended loudly? This episode is not about attacking people or movements. It’s about clarity. When Christianity becomes intertwined with political identity, patriotic symbolism, and culture-war energy, something subtle can happen—the Gospel gets overshadowed. We’ll explore:• What was missing from the moment• Why referencing Scripture isn’t the same as proclaiming Christ• The difference between influence and faithfulness• How easily we can trade Gospel clarity for cultural alignmentJesus said, “You cannot serve two masters.” (Matthew 6:24)So the real question is:Are we following Christ…or using Him?If you care about keeping Jesus first in a noisy, divided culture, this episode is for you.⸻Follow Real Talk with Vince for Part 2: Christ First vs. Culture First, where we go deeper into divided allegiance, fear-based faith, and the fruit our movements are producing.Christ first.Hashtags:#RealTalkWithVince#GospelVsCulture#ChristFirst#KingdomFirst#FaithOverFear#BiblicalTruth#ChristianPodcast#JesusIsLord#SeekFirstTheKingdom#Discipleship

Episode 1 – Why This Podcast Exists
