Remain In Him

Today’s prayer came from the book Every Moment Holy Volume 3. This is a great resource of prayers for different moments in your life! Sometimes we don’t have the words. But we can lean into His word and the body of Christ to help us connect with Him. Thank you, God, for Your love. Be near, O Christ. Calm the storm within me. Command my soul to “be still”.

This week we finish 1 Peter chapter 1. Peter reminded the believers that God will hold us accountable for our actions! Because Jesus paid the ransom for our sins, we should live with gratitude and love for each other! Life forever begins the moment we place our trust in Jesus! Thank you Jesus for taking my place!

1 Peter is full of good truth! We must prepare our minds with the truth of His word! We must place our hope in Jesus! We must seek to be holy, because God is holy.

This week we are continuing in the study of 1 Peter. Peter remind us that the knowledge of salvation through Jesus is something that the prophets have spoke about for many years! The readers are getting to experience in full what the prophets could not. I pray that we are thankful for our salvation in Jesus every day!!

This was a hard one. I pray you reflect on these verses and notice the joy in the trials. Does our response to suffering prove our faith to be genuine? We are so loved, through it all. Remain with Jesus, even on the hard days.

Season three!! I am so excited to dive into a new book of the Bible on the podcast: 1 Peter! Peter is an apostle of Jesus . He wrote this encouraging letter to the Gentiles in Asia minor. The Christ followers in this area were facing intense persecution. Peter reminds the believers to put their hope in Jesus and look forward to eternity with Him!

Stay with Jesus. At His pace. Where He leads. That is how we grow fruit that lasts! Thankful for season 2! The journey of the last year has been so fun! Life with Jesus is abundant! ❤️

This week I shared our “theme” verses for the podcast and talked about how God illuminated a part of that scripture in my life recently.

The God of the universe is so powerful and yet so personal! He is everywhere, all at once. God is omnipresent! Our minds cannot comprehend this truth but I’m so thankful for it!

God is good. All the time. He is good. On the mountain, He is good. In the valley, He is good. On January 5th, 2026, one of my favorite people went home to Jesus. He was my friend, mentor, pastor, and number one podcast listener. In this episode, I spent time talking about Scott and the impact he had on my life. This podcast would not exist if God hadn’t used Scott to encourage and challenge me. I’m forever thankful. My heart longs for Heaven! Pray for his family and church. Thank you for listening and I pray you hold tight to this truth… God is good.

With a new season ahead, I pray we keep Christ at the center of our lives! He never changes. He is a firm foundation to build our lives on, because He is constant.

God is love. Throughout scripture His love for us is on display! God loved us so much, that He sent Jesus, so that we might believe in Him and have eternal life!

God is holy! This is a super important characteristic to understand as you study scripture. All throughout the Bible you will see God‘s holiness mentioned. Take a listen and continue to study this week.

I am so thankful God is relational! From the beginning, He established a relationship with His people. When we messed it up with our sins, He sent Jesus to restore relationship with Him. We are known and loved by God. We can call Him, Father!

This week we talk about God being the Creator of all things! God created YOU, on purpose, for a purpose! I pray we worship the Creator more than creation.

So excited to start this new series! This week we begin with the trinity! This is a hard topic and we need the wisdom from God to help us!

This week we finish the book of James! I’m so excited to have finished another book on the podcast! I pray that we all put our faith into action!!

We are almost done with the book of James! It has been so good to study this book together! I pray you have been blessed. May we endure and be encouraged by the truth that Jesus is coming back soon!

This week we start James chapter 5! I am super excited to wrap up the book of James in a few weeks! I pray that we use our money and resources to invest in God’s kingdom!

We are concluding chapter 4 today! I pray we surrender our lives to Jesus and allow Him to lead us each day!

This week, we begin chapter 4 in the book of James!! This book is challenging. May we humble ourselves before God and remember we can do nothing without HIM!

Godly wisdom is something we should ask God to increase in our lives! After reading these verses, go to the book of Proverbs and seek His wisdom!

This set of verses is so convicting! I pray that we learn to control our tongue and only speak what honors God!

The book of James is full of important truth. This week’s episode explains how faith produces good works in us. The book of James does not contradict the writings of Paul in the book of Romans. It continues to explain how our faith in Christ should change our actions to be more like Christ! Take a listen!

I am so thankful for God’s mercy! I pray as you read this scripture you allow it to change you! May we never show favoritism but love everyone as God loves us.

This week we finish chapter 1 in the book of James! May we hear God’s word and act on it!

We are continuing in James chapter 1! I am so thankful for the good gifts of God! Praise Him today for the goodness in your life!

I’m so excited to be starting the book of James!! This book is full of a wisdom and truth! We will be challenged and encouraged throughout the coming weeks! I recommend studying in the book of Proverbs and Matthew chapters 5-7 to take your study of James deeper. This book was written for believers. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, today could be the day of salvation for you. Scripture says, admit that you are a sinner, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. There is a purpose in every season. If you think about it, God has a purpose for the different seasons of weather just like he has a purpose for the transitional seasons in our life. It is okay for hold space for the “and” in our emotions. Shifting seasons can bring both excitement “and” nervousness. Facing hard things with Christ can be both full of joy “and” sorrow. Know that God is with you in every season.

This week we are going back to the Old Testament to look at the offerings God commanded the Israelites to give. We ask the question: how does this relate to Christ? It is important as we read the Old Testament that we make connections to Christ Jesus.

This week, I want to encourage you to put hope in God again, concerning the dreams he has planted in your heart! God can do more than we could possibly imagine. I encourage you to have bold faith. Be patient and diligent in your waiting. God is always working and his ways are better than ours. In this episode I also referenced, Genesis 27, 1 Samuel 16, 2 Samuel 2, and Joshua 3.

This week we finished the book of Philippians! I pray that your joy has been increased as you’ve read this book and you’ve been challenged by the Scriptures! May we truly be content in every circumstance in our life as we rely on the strength of Christ!

In this episode we begin chapter 4 in the book of Philippians! Throughout this book you can see the theme of joy as Paul writes. We can rejoice in these scriptures that are both challenging and comforting!

This week we finish chapter 3 in the book of Philippians. Take a listen and spend time studying these verses! May we promote the interest of Heaven, as citizens of Heaven!

This week we continue in our series in Philippians. Paul explains his situation in prison and his perspective on life and death. Paul encourages the believers in Philippi to be bold and hopes he can remain with them to help them grow.

We are starting a new book series through Philippians!! I’m so excited to read through this book with you. On this episode, we discuss the author and audience to gain background knowledge. Acts 16 marks the historical account of Paul’s visit to Philippi. We also read the prayer in which Paul writes for the believers in Philippi which is a beautiful prayer we can also pray! This week we read and discuss Psalm 91. I love reading the Psalms to see the character of God! He is our rest and refuge!

This week’s episode is an encouragement to read the book of Jeremiah! I have been so impacted by the life of Jeremiah and how we can see God’s character throughout this book. I also touch on the most famous verse in Jeremiah, Jeremiah 29:11. Take a listen and then go read the entire book for yourself!!

This week we finally finish our mini series in the book of 1 John!! It has been such a joy to work through a book of the Bible on the podcast! In the final verses of chapter 5, John points us to Jesus as the true God and encourages us to be confident in the assurance of eternal life. So, if we know, Jesus, why would we look anywhere else for life?

This week in the book of 1 John we discuss real love. Real love is not that we love God, but that He loved us and sent Jesus as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. As we approach Easter, may we reflect on all God has done for us!

This week we will continue in our study in the book of 1 John. In today’s world, there seems to be two extremes when it comes to false teaching. On one end, people believe everything they hear, especially through social media, without spending time in God’s word themselves. On the other end, some people are critical of everything they hear and struggle to give grace to those who are still learning the Scriptures. Let us approach God’s word with humility and a teachable heart. Especially as we dive into this week’s verses.
