In this episode, I walk through 1 Samuel 5 — the moment when the Ark of the Covenant was placed beside Dagon, and the idol couldn’t stay standing in the presence of God. And I talk about what that means for us now, because we are the temple of God, and the idols we deal with today aren’t statues… they’re beliefs, relationships, voices, patterns, and attachments we’ve elevated above Him without realizing it.As I’ve been on my own journey with the Lord, He’s shown me places where I had allowed hidden idols to sit beside His presence — things that created chaos, tension, and misalignment in my life. One of the biggest moments for me was when God revealed that I had made my pastor an idol. I cared more about his voice and his opinion than the instruction of the Lord. I share that story, along with another example, not to center myself… but to help you recognize how subtle and unintentional idols can be.Because here’s the truth: a lot of what people call “the devil” is actually the conflict created when we bring idols close to the temple of God. I thought it would be fitting to explain why I took a hiatus the last several weeks. Know that if you are leveling up in the spirit realm with the Lord that there will be attacks that try to come against you. However, God will grow you through it and it will work to your good. Thank you again for supporting me, encouraging me along the way and sharing your time with me. I know your time is valuable and I pray that God multiplies it back to you every episode. I've been MIA the last several weeks and we will chat about that in next week's Season 1 final episode. But for today let's finish My Story with part two. I believe more in what God can do with transparency than I do in keeping the ugly things hidden. There's a difference in someone who boast about their sinful life prior to full surrender to God and someone who desires to tell you if He can save me, change me and give me a new life, He can and will do the same for you! In my transparency I believe it only glorifies the Father and His mercy and forgiveness. I'll forever be grateful of this life I have, it's only because I chose His ways and to follow His guiding in even my most shameful moments that I am able to share this episode. I hope this inspires you to break free from the fear of man and share with someone what God brought you out of to remind them He can bring them out too!

I've enjoyed hearing pieces of other people's stories lately and decided I should jump into mine in these last few episodes of season 1! Let's take a little stroll down the childhood years prior to moving to NC. How I grew up, when I got saved, understanding that divorce effects everyone even if you don't acknowledge it. This week is what I'm calling Ramble. I wanted to talk about several different things. Feeling unqualified for ministry, the trap of comparison and ending on gratitude for the once prayers we now walk in!

I've been reflecting on what is God calling me to right now the past few weeks. Realizing that what I used to think my purpose was, in fact was far from it. Let's chat about how God anoints us all in different areas but when we work together, we can make such a difference in someone's life! Don't confuse what you do for a living as who you are!! There is so much more to why God created you!

It feels so good to finish what I started. Also, knowing that it took some sacrifice to finish. If I can get through my Bible start to finish 4 times this year maybe I will finally start to remember where scripture is and retain it better. I want to challenge you to read your Bible even more than you are now, push through it. You can do it! I promise you will feel so good when you finish not just because it was a goal accomplished but because you're making a spiritual difference.

In this week's episode we are talking about how to live a blessed life and if you're like me just reading that makes you roll your eyes and think "here we go another one of those people". However, I challenge you to come listen because it won't be what you think. Let's talk about it! * The Blessed Life by Robert Morris. Look up his series here on Spotify or on YouTube of course. Now I recommend buying the actual book and getting all the extras that aren't in the videos.

We all have had a secret place at one time in our lives. In my life before surrendering to Jesus, I know mine weren't good hence why they were secrets! But now I only have one secret place and it's to meet with the Father. What about you do you have one? Let's chat about why we should have one and the importance of writing things down that God has done. Oh and you can hear how mine currently looks...

We probably ALL do it, find a word for the new year in hopes that is what it will be a year of. However, after I started doing that the Lord convicted me deeply and corrected me on how I should go about it moving forward. Come listen and see what He said and maybe it will help you see fruit in your new year too! **Stay till somewhere near the end where I share the warning God gave me about America back in the beginning of 2021 and how this year might be the year, we see it come to pass.

We've all given God things that have cost us nothing, we're all guilty. In this episode I want to talk with you about how God has been correcting me and what He has been asking of me that is costing me. I refuse to continue living a life that gives God something that has cost me nothing. What about you? Let's chat about sacrifice and obedience and why I gave God all the money my boys saved up for something they wanted to buy for Christmas! ps.
