The Reverend Doctor Michael A. Van Horn, theologian, author, and servant of Jesus Christ, served as senior pastor between 1996 and 2009 at Trinity Church of Livonia, Michigan, an Evangelical Covenant Church. In 2009, a sudden illness prevented Dr. Van Horn from continuing as a pastor and professor. His work continues through his recorded sermons and his published book, “Within My Heart: The Enlightenment Epistemic Reversal and the Subjective Justification of Religious Belief”. The book is based on his doctoral dissertation completed at the University Wales.Dr. Van Horn served as Associate Professor of Theology and Worship at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
