Holy Tuesday & Wednesday: Teachings & Betrayal + Two Sabbaths Timeline
Holy Tuesday & Wednesday: Teachings, Warnings & Betrayal – Facts, Prophecies, and KJV ScripturesJoin us as we explore the powerful middle days of Holy Week with a clear, scripture-focused look at Tuesday and Wednesday. On **Holy Tuesday**, Jesus faces challenges to His authority in the Temple. He teaches parables, answers difficult questions, pronounces the Seven Woes against hypocrisy, commends the poor widow’s sacrificial giving (the widow’s mite), and delivers the Olivet Discourse on the Mount of Olives — prophesying the Temple’s destruction, signs of the end times, and His return as the Son of Man coming in the clouds. On **Holy Wednesday** (often called Spy Wednesday), Jesus is anointed with costly spikenard at Bethany in preparation for His burial. Meanwhile, Judas Iscariot agrees to betray Him for thirty pieces of silver, fulfilling Zechariah 11:12.We also discuss an alternative timeline view held by some scholars: the possibility of **two Sabbaths** that week (a “high day” Passover-related Sabbath in John 19:31 plus the weekly Sabbath). This view suggests the Last Supper may have occurred on Wednesday evening, with crucifixion on Thursday, allowing a more literal “three days and three nights” in the tomb (Matthew 12:40) and explaining the women’s spice preparation on a non-Sabbath day. We present this alongside the traditional Thursday Last Supper / Friday crucifixion understanding. This episode covers (all KJV):• The withered fig tree and faith-filled prayer (Matthew 21:20-22)• Temple controversies (Matthew 23)• The widow’s mite – true sacrifice (Mark 12:41-44)• The anointing at Bethany (Matthew 26:6-13)• Judas’ betrayal agreement (Matthew 26:14-16)• Old Testament prophetic connections (Daniel 7, Zechariah 11)Perfect for deep Bible study during Holy Week.If this blesses you, like the video, comment your thoughts on the timeline or your favorite teaching from these days, and subscribe for our final episode on Holy week coming up!#HolyWeek #HolyTuesday #SpyWednesday #OlivetDiscourse #TwoSabbaths #KJV #BibleStudy #newepisode #motivation #latterdaysaints #jesuschrist #lds #faith #fearless #podcast #josephsmith #youtubeshorts #

"I Am a Worm" - The Bible Secret That Points to Jesus on the Cross
When we started recording, we sat at our dining room table and used an old phone to record the video. Some careful editing to line up the audio and video and add some scripture slides, we had our first episode about the Tolah. Fast forward a year and we've been able to update how we record and we rerecorded our original episode! Excited to get this posted and all the scriptures are referenced in the video with visuals. This is a fun and informational deep dive on this topic. Thank you to everyone who watches our episodes! Our goal is to be fearless in our study of the scriptures and to share what we have learned. #fearless What if a tiny worm hidden in the pages of the Bible pointed directly to the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross? In this eye-opening episode, we dive deep into the mysterious Tolah Worm (Hebrew: Tola'at or Tola'ath Shani) — the "crimson worm" mentioned in Psalm 22:6 where the Messiah declares, "I am a worm and no man."Discover the incredible life cycle of this ancient insect from the Middle East: how the female attaches herself to a tree, gives her life to protect and nourish her young, and produces a brilliant scarlet dye used for the Tabernacle curtains, priestly garments, and temple veil. This isn't just fascinating biology — it's a powerful prophetic picture of redemption, sacrifice, and the blood of Christ. From the Hebrew wordplay (where "tola" means both worm and scarlet/crimson) to its stunning parallels with the crucifixion, this episode reveals how God embedded the Gospel in one of the smallest creatures in creation. If you've ever wondered about the deeper meanings hidden in Scripture, this one will blow your mind. What does the Tolah worm teach us about Jesus? This Changes Everything: Gap Creation in the Bible
What if the Bible doesn't say the Earth is only 6,000 years old... and science doesn't contradict Scripture at all? In this deep-dive episode, we unpack Christopher Eames' eye-opening article "Young Earth or Old? Gap Creation Explained" from Let the Stones Speak magazine. Discover the "gap" between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2—a catastrophic ruin that left the Earth "without form and void" after an ancient angelic rebellion, followed by God's six-day renewal of the planet for humanity. We explore:The biblical evidence: Why "tohu va bohu" means desolation, not just formless emptinessKey scriptures like Isaiah 45:18, Jeremiah 4:23, and Psalm 104:30 that point to renewal, not brand-new creation. The K-Pg boundary layer be the smoking gun for the pre-Adamic catastrophe? How this view harmonizes fossils, dinosaurs, and deep time with a literal six-day creation week leading to Adam and Eve ~6,000 years agoNo more forced choices between faith and evidence. This classic "gap creation" (or ruin-restoration) perspective—popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries—lets the Bible speak for itself while embracing what the rocks reveal.Whether you're wrestling with young-Earth vs. old-Earth questions, love biblical archaeology, or just want to see Scripture and science align, this episode will blow your mind and strengthen your faith in the Creator. Could Translations Hide Truth?
Dive into one of Jesus' most intriguing parables—the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)—with a fresh perspective that could change how you see readiness for Christ's return! In this episode, we explore the classic story: Ten virgins await the bridegroom with their lamps. Five wise ones bring extra oil and stay prepared, while five foolish ones run out and miss the wedding feast. The message? "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour" (Matt. 25:13). It's a timeless call to spiritual vigilance, where the oil often symbolizes the Holy Spirit, genuine faith, or enduring works. But what if the moment when "they all slumbered and slept" (v. 5) hides a deeper nuance due to translation? The Greek word nustazo (translated "slumbered") literally means "to nod" or "to be drowsy," and it's derived from neuo, which means "to nod," "beckon," or "signal." Some insightful biblical studies suggest this could imply more than passive sleep—perhaps the wise virgins were actively nodding or beckoning in anticipation, staying engaged and expectant, while the foolish truly drifted into negligent slumber. This subtle shift turns the parable into a powerful contrast: not just avoiding laziness, but actively signaling faith through preparation (like carrying extra oil, which some interpret as obedience to God's law). All start as "virgins" (pure believers), but only the proactive, prepared ones enter the feast! We draw inspiration from deep dives like those found on hethathasanear.com, particularly explorations in articles such as "Who Is Israel? Children of the Bridechamber," which highlight these Greek word connections and emphasize active faithfulness over mere waiting.Whether you're new to the Bible or a seasoned student, this episode challenges common assumptions and encourages us to "beckon" for the Bridegroom with intentional living. Don't miss it, watch now! Does the idea of "beckoning" instead of just "slumbering" change the parable for you? If this resonates, like , subscribe , and share your thoughts below! What Do Biblical Altars Really Mean Today?
Welcome to this episode of Rooted in Faith, where we explore the sacred symbolism of altars in the scriptures and how they apply to our lives today. Join us as we dive into this topic and uncover stories of sacrifice, covenant, prayer, and drawing nearer to Christ. We have a conversation about the different altars in our life:We start with the talk by Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi called: Humble Souls at Altars Kneel (link below). Altars in the Bible: From Noah's gratitude after the flood, Abraham's ultimate test of faith on Mount Moriah, to the intricate altars in the tabernacle and temple—pointing us to the Savior's Atonement.Altars in the Book of Mormon: Offerings, the people's gatherings for repentance and renewal, and how these acts of consecration echo in our own journeys.Altars in our lives and temples: What do modern temple altars teach us about personal sacrifice, gratitude, deliverance, and covenant-keeping? How can we build "altars" in our hearts and homes to invite Christ's light? These symbols remind us that true worship involves offering our whole selves to God, just as He offered His Son for us.We'd love to hear your thoughts! The Deed Satan Stole: Sealed and Unsealed Deeds
Dive deep into one of the most mind-blowing connections between ancient Hebrew law and God's eternal plan! In this episode we unpack the tradition of sealed and unsealed deeds, from Jeremiah 32's real estate contract during Jerusalem's siege to mysterious scroll "sealed with seven seals" held by Heavenly Father. Discover how Adam and Eve's everlasting covenant was disrupted by the Fall, allowing Satan temporary dominion over earth's "unsealed" kingdoms.Jesus, the worthy Lamb, pays the infinite redemptive price to break the seals, reclaim the title deed to creation, and restore dominion to the faithful.Ancient signet rings (the "keys" of authority in deeds) foreshadow priesthood keys—restored through Elijah—that seal eternal covenants, marriages, and exaltation today (D&C 132:7, 46).Like, comment your favorite insight ("What sealed truth hit you hardest?"), subscribe for more scripture-deep dives, and share with someone seeking answers! Keys of Authority....Rings of Power?
From the ancient foundations in the Old Testament (like Adam's keys of dominion and Moses' gathering of Israel) to the New Testament's keys of the kingdom bestowed by Jesus Christ upon Peter, we discuss how these divine authorities tie into the restored gospel today. We discuss what is a key and how it may be a modern explanation of a signet or seal that is used as authority. Discover how Jesus Christ holds all priesthood keys eternally, delegating them through prophets for ordinances, missionary work, temple sealings, and more.If you stuck with us through the whole episode comment! Sacred Keys at Adam-ondi-Ahman: D&C 27-28 Explored
This episode explores D&C 27-28, tying in Daniel 7 and D&C 116. The keys and gathering are a fascinating topic. Daniel talks about the prophecy and Ancient of Days (Adam) and a gathering. This ties in perfectly to D&C 27-28. We studied this for Come Follow Me and found more depth and wanted to share what we had learned. It ties in more to things like the sacrament which makes us think of the tolah and the bitter cup. Shout out to @thestickofjoseph and Andrea W. for their great episodes on the parable of the 10 virgins.

Son of Man, a worm?
We are excited to share what we have learned about the term "worm" in the bible. This episode dives into the Hebrew and the word "worm", going back to the book of Job. Why does the bible talk about a worm and compare it to the Son of Man? This is our first episode! There is so much we want to dive into with the Old Testament, New Testament, Apocrypha, and the Book of Mormon.
