"Dr. Impey's journey into the world of sports science began with his groundbreaking research into the cellular and molecular adaptations to exercise-nutrition interactions during his PhD and postdoctoral work. With over a decade of experience supporting elite athletes worldwide, Dr Impey has been helping Puresport develop their gels. They have said that 1 x 30g carb gel every 30 mins is as complicated as it needs to be. We chatted to Dr Impey to find out why, what the fat adaptation trend was all about, what negatives there are to too many gels, and whether you should adjust fuelling for your menstrual cycle.
