This week we are back and taking on a doozy.Taking time to look at the three times Jesus predicts His death to the disciples and how they react each time.Ice breaker: have you ever put a puzzle together or a Lego set or something like that and have been missing the final or near final pieces? It was plain enough, but they would not understand it in the literal sense, because it agreed not with their notions; and they could not understand it in any other, and we’re afraid to ask him less they should be undeceived and awakened out of their pleasing dream.-Matthew Henry3. Third Prediction: Lack of Humility (Self-Delusion)Mark 10:32-34 (working text)Matthew 20:20Big Idea: To fill in where we lack, we must serve like Christ A. Humility James 4:10Phil 2:3B. The last of the Husband Scorecard…This wraps up this section and we have to take some had looks at some of my own leadership with in my home. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭28-‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬If you have any comments, concerns or thoughts either comment below or let us know at…IG: @rrcjaxbeachEmail: [email protected]: [email protected] you have any issues or in search of biblical counseling or marriage counseling please let us know and we can help.Be blessed.

    Don’t Let Me Be Eve-Part 1 (w/ Miss Rachael)

We are starting a new series on what a biblical marriage looks like and that’s right, Miss Rachael hangs out in the closet this week with me. Our intro this week opens the door a little bit as we look at Genesis 3 and the fall in the Garden of Eden. In the next few episodes we will delve deeper into the husband role and the woman role, we even will be using a score card system to lay out and honest examination of how we are both doing in our roles. We have always been big on transparency and if our life or rather our marriage is an open door, for others to look in, of what God does then here we are.Over the next few weeks we are going to look at biblical leadership in the home, what is submissive behavior, how to lead and how to follow, and what is a one flesh decision. Please join us as we walk through this process.(If you are having trouble in your marriage or feel that something is missing please let us know and we can see what help is available or help you personally, do not feel like you are alone, we have been there.)-Gen 3:1-20-1 Peter 3:1-7-Eph 5:22-33-Gen 3:6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make onewise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.-Gen 3:12 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” (First bus throw ever) -1 Tim 2:14-15 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.Contact Info:IG: @rrcjaxbeachEmail: [email protected]: rachael@rrcjaxbeachBe blessed…

Parable of the Sower (Mark 4:1-20)

This week we look at the first major parable of Jesus’s teaching. The Parable of the Sower looks at the types of “soil” or hearers of the Word of God. We go through the types of soil and what each one looks like.Outline below and contact info.Spurgeon quote:We are told men ought not to preach without preparation. Granted. But, we add, men ought not to hear without preparation. Which, do you think, needs the most preparation, the sower or the ground? I would have the sower come with clean hands, but I would have the ground well plowed and harrowed, well turned over, and the clods broken before the seed comes in. It seems to me that there is more preparation needed by the ground than by the sower, more by the hero than by the preacher.Outline:Ice Breaker: If you could have a farm, what would you grow?Study Outline:A.
