by simone olivia
Simone can practically talk for days about literally anything to anyone so she decided to hit record and do just that. SAY IT ALREADY podcast is a public diary that feels like a one way call with your bestie. It's got the tea, the random thoughts, the fun, the boring and even the serious stuff. everything is perfect on paper
i'm talking about: you should be the happiest you've ever been because of the life you created yet there's still something that's missing. I'm talking about: people always mention how nice your life looks yet you don't resonate with it. I'm talking about: feeling extremely grateful for what you have yet feeling like there's more out there for you. if any of this makes you feel less alone, then I've done my part. Being an open book and sharing what I'm going through isn't an easy task. it's not something I take lightly and I appreciate you for sharing the space with me as I go on this journey. in it together !!!!!! ty for listening, simone olivia tiktok mentioned in this episode: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT23jQ8Qm/

oh it's me again just contemplating life and thinking per usuallllll. the dust is finally settling with my work transitions and i'm falling into a routing with my 9-5 (which isn't really a 9-5). i've been thinking about what i want to pour my time and energy into and by the end of this episode i think things are more clear. i shook off the sunday scaries and im coming to you live from the other side <3 thank u for listening as alwaysssss BYE

people copy and paste
the difference between copying someone's swag and being inspired them is such a fine line. being a trendsetter myself im more keen to the ways this can look and i figured i would record an episode while i navigate those thoughts. i love being inspired by people everyday and being able to express myself in ways i didnt even think possible because of it. conversely to that i love being an inspiration for people so they can do the same. unfortunetly sometimes there are instances when people rather copy and paste almost exactly and in my opinion thats just no way to live... it can also be super annoying for the person being copied SOOOOOO i talk about it in this episode. thanks for listening as alwayssss simone olivia xoxoooo

taking up space vs. playing small
i really wanted to talk about a topic that has been on my mind for so long now !!! ever since i was a kid honesty!! i've been so tempted to play it small in my life unfortunately :/ i feel like when you're a bubbly person with charisma and character and energy and ur positive, a lot of people want to shut you down or tear u apart just as much as there will be people that'll support you. in this episode i walk you through my mental process over the years deciding whether i want to continue taking up space of play it small. (things will happen) in due time
you know what's crazy? forcing something to happen that is going to happen, when it's time but you're like no, no, no, no it needs to happen now!!! oooooo is this a habit of mine that im trying to shake :// instant gratification is the illusion of the century and im someone who falls victim to yearning for it but the truth is... good things take TIME. ya gotta be patient you know? i know but it's hard for me to admit SO in this episode i talk about i try to remember that things will happen, in due time !!! :))) thank you for listening as always HUGSSSSS simone olivia

change doesn't need to feel good to be good
change is scary, change is real. change is the only constant thing. there's no such thing as complete comfort and zero disruption or a life full of sameness i feel. change is inevitable whether you like it or not. MOST IMPORTANTLY i've realized change doesn't need to feel good to be good. i talk all about it in this episode with a minor crash out at the end :) my apologies in advance (take a shot every time I say "change" ). thank you for listening, as always xx simone olivia

shoulda, coulda, woulda and DID
scrolling through pinterest and thinking... why am i not re-creating the things i always say i want to? the last thing that i want is to be old and wrinkled and thinking i shoulda done this, i coulda done this, woulda done that. in this episode i talk about regrets and how i dont want any. of course, I know that sometimes it's inevitable, but if I can enjoy the present and have fun while I create my future, then sign me up. And while you're at it, listen up, thanks for tuning in as always !! oox simone olivia

graduated? what's next?
the big question that everyone asks after you did the thing you said you were gonna do... "what's next?" it's irritating even when i type it, i mean why do people still ask it anyway? as if there's a right answer like news flash !! there's not. to be completely honest with you i don't even have an answer for that question... and i'm realizing that's okay. it's okay to feel weird post-grad, it's okay to not have it figured out and it's okay to just BE right now. you see i got a couple rules i'm living by to help me deal with all this so i decided to hit record and share with you ;) thanks for tuning in xx simone olivia

IF YOU CAN'T SAY NO: Don't Say Yes
is it really that simple? for some people, yeah, i think it is that simple. saying no is a privilege and if you have the opportunity and it will benefit your mental health in doing so, then maybe you should start saying no more... this is what i'm realizing as time goes on. life is already so complicated and busy as it is, we should start prioritizing ourselves more and doing more of the things that make us happy. sometimes this looks like saying no and if that's difficult for you to do because you are a people pleaser or you really want to make others happy then you must listen to this episode. i hope you enjoy, thank you so much !!!!! simone olivia

SPRANGGG BREAAAAK (iykyk) !!!!!!!! FIGURING LIFE OUT: Having a Plan, Enjoying the Experience, Overthinking
I am VERY in the era of being a student and VERY interested in learning and listening. I have come to terms with the fact that I don't know it all... I don't even know a little bit in comparison to what I will know in years to come. I am very porous to information, advice, guidance, insight, and all the wonderful things. With that being said, in this episode, I talk about what "figuring life out" means to me at this stage of my life. Thank you for listening and hearing me out, Simone Olivia xo

MAKING FRIENDS: Investing in Relationships, Spreading Love, Recharging Your Social Battery
Let me be honest with you. For an extroverted/social butterfly/get-along-with-everyone-type person, you would THINK I have the making friends thing down to a science right? WRONG! I have so much to learn about being a true friend. I spent my teenage years relying on my sisters for companionship but there comes a time when the bird has to leave the nest. In my 20's I'm making more of an effort to get out there, be honest, be vulnerable, and invest in relationships while also being smart and giving myself time to recharge my social battery. It's all a work in progress and I'm bringing you along with me so thank you for listening as always xo Simone Olivia

Get ready to hear about how I manage to get my meals in, pick the best roommates, network within my community and add furry friends to the equation. Thank you so so much for tuning in, it's 5AM and I can't decide if I want to sleep or start my day LOL goodnight/good morning, peace out xo Simone Olivia

Hello party people :) how are you? how are you doing? I missed getting on this microphone and talking to all of you. I have so much to say!!!! I have been living in my head for the past 23 years and it's been a journey. Life is full of ebbs and flows which means we have to roll with the punches and be able to manage our moods in the good times and the bad. Expressing gratitude, creating healthy habits and investing in yourself is key. At least, that's my working theory. WHAT IS MY PURPOSE: Building a Resume, Finding Jobs, Taking Risks, Being Proactive
The question of life right? What is my purpose? Why am I here? What was I born to do? In this podcast episode I most definitely DO NOT answer these questions but hopefully I inspire you to go out and discover the answers for yourself. We are all unique beings and have different life paths; so long as we are active participants in our lives, we can only hope to reach a satisfactory level of fulfillment. REINVENT YOURSELF
I am not who I was a year ago, 6 months ago, yesterday or even when I started writing this redundant episode description lol. I think it's a compliment when people say that I've changed because the alternative seems way more scary. I want to fall in love with new things and old things. I want to learn what I like and don't like then learn to switch it up. Life is about new experiences and my goal is to have no regrets by the end of it.

PROTECTING MY ENERGY
I said so much in this episode that I really have nothing to say here, OOPS! Please enjoy the Super Mario Wiki definition of the "mini mushrooms from Mario" that I referenced throughout this episode: "Mini Goombas, originally known as Micro-Goombas and also occasionally referred to as Goombettes or Small Goombas, are miniature Goombas that are featured throughout different installments of the Super Mario franchise. They look like regular Goombas, being brown vaguely humanoid mushrooms, albeit they are notably smaller in size. Their main purpose is usually to slow down the players or otherwise impede their progress." The above text is from the Super Mario Wiki and is available under a Creative Commons license. YOUR OWN TIMELINE
Hey there... yeah you... the one comparing yourself to those on social media and those around you. Stop doing that!! It's graduation season and I too am a victim of comparison, you are not alone. It's the very thing that inspired this episode slash roller coaster of thoughts. It can be discouraging when you see those around you achieving the goals you set for yourself, HOWEVER, it is important to remember that the route from point A to point B aka where you are right now to your goals, is not linear! I am talking ups, downs, circles, hard stops, false starts, I mean the whole thing. If it was easy, everyone would do it right? Let's practice patience and kindness to not only the world around us but to OURSELVES. I am so proud of you and how far you've come. Keep going. Save the bees. Spice up that pre-made Alfredo. Thank you for listening.

IM STILL HERE
I've had 3 near death experiences in my life and that's all I have room for lol ! It's scary, it's traumatic, it's not ok. I thought the experience itself would be the worst part but looking back on it might just be. Regardless, I'm still here so I'm thankful

CALL YOUR MOM
Pump the breaks, write down your goals and call your mom!! Life can go by really fast if you let it so it's not a bad idea to slow things down a bit and pay attention. Remind yourself of your long term goals and 5 year plan. We have to make a conscious everyday to bring ourselves one step closer to where we want to be. This is something that I remembered to do earlier this week and it has realigned me in so many ways for the better. Oh and call your mom, she misses you.

2 GIRLS I CAN'T STAND
My mind has been on the social aspect of my life and what I contribute to it. I've been thinking about where it falls on my priority list in the grand scheme of my life. In the past, I may not have valued it as much but as I'm getting older I am realizing how important it can be. I've started to understand how forming strong bonds with people can benefit your life. We all need perspective or a shoulder to cry on or a breath of fresh; I learned this in time and am continuing to navigate it all. I am thankful for the friends and family in my life who inspire me.

DOING SOMETHING AND NOTHING
I'm trying to remind myself that we all get into our funk phases full of self doubt, what ifs and bleh energy from time to time. We're human... like we're not supposed to be perfect and productive all the time. I try to tell myself that no one has it all figured it. That's the beauty of it all honestly, day by day we're all just learning new things and navigating life, making mistakes as we go. Recording this episode with no real rules or guidance helped my mood so much. Creative freedom is important and when you don't care what people think... I can tell that's when things start getting good. Love you allllllll byeeee.
