2 Corinthians 12:14 - Now [for] the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.In life you must draw a distinction between people who seek you and those who seek what is yours. People who love you unsparingly and unconditionally, who freely choose not to be burdensome to you but a blessing to you, even when they have their own struggles and burdens and all the rights to make demands from you. Love all people, enemies or friends, brothers or sisters, haters or lovers, neighbors or strangers but distinguish those who are after you and not after what you give or can give. Jesus Christ applied this understanding in his own ministry, He laid up his wholeself for us. He loved us completely before we loved him back.
