all things must be done in order
Mosiah 4:27 is today's verse. In this King Benjamin continues his address to his people. He talks about how we need to not run faster than we have strength. And how all things must be done in order and I share my thoughts with what that might mean. We also talk about how the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a church of order.

you shall attend to the ministry
My dad, Dave, asked me again to share some more of his thoughts on likening the scriptures to ourselves. He shares Doctrine and Covenants 30:1-4, a revelation given through Joseph Smith to David Whitmer. David Whitmer wasn't following the Lord the way he needed to and this is him being reminded of who he was serving. And he was called again to serve God. Sometimes in this life we need a course correct and a reminder of who we are and who we serve! Remember, you don't need to be perfect to be called of God. Just willing.

even also as I am known
1 Corinthians 13:12 is today's scripture. I know the Lord lives. He knows you.

103
if ye are faithful, ye shall be blessed
A couple of nights ago, my dad sent me a voice memo! He recorded an episode out of the blue! What he shares is not only inspired, but incredibly relevant to today's world. He reads Doctrine and Covenants 14:11, which reminds us that if we are faithful, great shall be our reward. We also see how important it is to liken the scriptures unto ourselves! I love you all and thanks dad!

bear up our burdens with ease
Mosiah 24:15-16 teaches us that the burdens on our backs will be made light as we have faith and patience in the Lord. But the burdens themselves don't just get easier, WE GET STRONGER! The Lord gives us strength so we can bear our burdens with ease. I also testify, we can be of good confort, even when times are hard. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

"I do visit my people in their afflictions"
Mosiah 24:14 is todays verse. I am sure it was reassuring to the people in bondage to hear the things the Lord told them. But if the Book of Mormon was written for our day, then we can find strength in this passage too. The Lord promises that he is there in our hard times. He will ease the burdens on our backs, because of our faith. He can make our burdens lightThis week, search for instances that the Lord is easing your burdens. As you do, I PROMISE that you will see more and more evidences of him and his hand in your life.

he did know the thoughts of their hearts
Whether you pray out loud or in your heart, Heavenly Father hears you. He is always listening. Mosiah 24 will be the topic for the next three days. Today we will focus on verses 12-13. Alma and his people were being persecuted and commanded that they could not pray or they were to be put to death. So they reached out to the Lord through the, "thoughts of their hearts." Each prayer you pray is heard by a loving God, something you can always find comfort in. Not all answers come immediately, but for those who wait in faith, they will come.
-
99
they first believed in the Son of God
Ether 12:12 and Ether 12:18 talk about faith. It doesn't tell us what faith is, but it does tell us that miracles follow when we have faith. In fact, miracles can only come when faith comes first. Believe that God is and miracles will surely follow!

98
finding strength beyond my own
Today, Kenzie and I share the first and last verse of Hymn #220, Lord, I Would Follow Thee. We talk about helping others and finding strength in Jesus Christ. And how bearing others burdens allows our burdens to be made light. Remember, Jesus Christ is your strength!
-
97
his hand is stretched out still
Today we will talk about a phrase that shows up in the scritpures a lot. "For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still." We also read 2 Nephi 28:32 which explains what this means! You are never too far away from the reach of Jesus Christ.
-
96
we all fought on Christ's side
Whether or not we believe in Christ right now, every single person who has ever lived, is living, or will live, chose to follow Jesus Christ and chose Heavenly Father's plan in the premortal life! We all fought at Christ's side. He asks that we continue to fight with him and help others return to his side! We read some passages from the Topics and Questions section on churchofjesuschrist.org under Plan of Salvation and Premortality. And we share a quote from Al Carraway!
-
95
I will go and do
Nephi shows courage in 1 Nephi 3:7. He says hat he knows that the Lord only asks us to do something if it is good and if it is possible to accomplish it. With Faith, Nephi follows the Lord and we can to. We will never be disappointed when we follow the Lord
-
94
it is an evidence of his trust
Today, Kenzie shares another favorite quote from, "Using the Supernal Gift of Prayer." This talk was given by Richard G. Scott in April of 2007. The Lord promises that if we are trying to follow him, answers to prayers will come. Sometimes the Lord asks that we act in faith, and then answers come. He trusts us. He trusts you. I share my testimony of that trust and how I got an answer to my prayers, that marrying Kenzie is the best decision I could ever make!

93
it isn't where we serve but how that matters
In Elder Kearon's talk, "About His Business," he talks about how callings we receive from God are tailor-made to us and tailor-made to help us grow. Today we talk about that and how serving in any capacity, matters to the Lord.
-
92
we always come out ahead
Elder Patrick Kearon gave a talk in the April 2026 General Conference called, "About His Business." In it he talks about callings in the Church and it got me thinking about my calling. I often wonder if there is more I can do or if I am doing my part in the Lord's work. Today I was reminded that whatever offering I give, if I give willingly and with humility, it is enough. And the Lord will accept it, and he will bless me. The same is true for you.
-
91
choose to be a peacemaker
President Russell M. Nelson gave a talk called Peacemakers Needed in April 2023. In this talk, he reminds us that being Christ-like is a CHOICE. And choosing Christ is always possible. May we choose Christ now and always.
-

that all may be profited thereby
The Lord has blessed each of us Gifts of the Spirit. No one has all of them but EVERYONE has some. It is up to us to grow these gifts and then to share them with everyone so that we can all profit from that which the Lord has given. I invite you all to grow these gifts and use them to bless others. In return, the Lord will bless you.
-
89
and it came to pass
These 5 words show up all the time in the Book of Mormon. And they are words many of us write off. We might even see them as not important. But what do they mean? Is it possible they have more meaning then telling us that time has come and gone? I think so. Today I would like to share some of my thoughts with you. I believe there is more to these words than we give credit.
-
88
the Lord is in all of our lives
In a talk titled Consider the Blessings given in October 2012, President Monson finishes his talk with a simple message. He reminds us that the Lord is in every part of our lives and that he WANTS us to be happy. He WANTS us to follow him. And he WANTS to bless us.
-
87
be ye therefore perfect - eventually
Perfection in this life is not attainable. So why would the Lord command it in Matthew 5:48 and 3 Nephi 12:48? I feel the answer to this question comes in the title of a talk given by Elder Jeffery R. Holland. I find great comfort in knowing that because the Lord commanded it, it is possible -Eventually.
-
86
I can do all things through Christ
Jesus Christ is strengthening you.
-
85
be still and know that I am God
Today I share my thoughts on one of my favorite verses. And tell the story of why I love it so much. Doctrine and Covenants 101:16.At the time of this verse, the saints were facing a great deal of persecution. They were being driven from their homes and didn't know what to do. This is something the Lord told them. To trust that he was God and trust in everything that means. To trust that he is who he says he is.
-
84
for behold, I am a son of God
Moses 1:1-13 is an incredible story. I especially love verses 6 and 12-13. Moses talks, face-to-face with God and learns more about his divine heritage. He learns that he is a child of the one true God! He learns that he was created in similitude of the Only Begotten of the Father, our Savior Jesus Christ. After this experience, Satan comes to tempt him, but Moses remembers who he was and is, a child of God. When we know who we are, children of God, the devil trembles. And God gives us his power. Power comes from knowing who you are, a child of the most high God. Have I mentioned you are a child of God?

83
yet I will rejoice in the Lord
There is a book in the Old Testament called Habakkuk. In chapter 3 verses 17-19, we hear a declaration of faith. "I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." A declaration that was given after many hard things were laid out in verse 17. Even after the hard times, the times when it feels like everything has fallen apart, declaring "I will rejoice in the Lord," provides hope. And it provides power. The Lord's power.Another thought. Remember, good can come in the unlikeliest of places. Seek it and ye shall find.

John 3:16-17. God loves you so he sent his Son.

81
the tender mercies of the Lord
1 Nephi 1:20 talks about the tender mercies of the Lord. They are evidence that God is working in your life. Did you know you can actually practice recognizing one? As you intentionally look for tender mercies in your life, you will not only recognize them, but you will see them more frequently. The Lord has chosen you, take up the call and have faith. You are in his hands.

80
they shall be as white as snow
Isaiah 1:18-19 is one we have all heard. It is simple and beautful. It reminds us of the perfect redeeming power of Jesus Christ. The message is clear, complete and perfect forgiveness is possible. Because Jesus lives.

upon the rock of our Redeemer
Each of us are building our lives. Everyday, we are building something unique to us. What we are building is something the devil wants to destroy. Helaman 5:12 is a great reminder to us of how weak the devil truly is and how strong our Savior is. If we build our lives on Jesus Christ as our foundation, there is not a single thing the devil can do to drag us down, because of the rock upon which we are built, "whereon if men build they cannot fall." Christ is your greatest strength. Trust him.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to become like our Savior and be one in him. I will see you all tomorrow!

75
he is not here: for he is risen
8 words. Just 8 words in Matthew 28:5-8, and to me, these 8 words are the most incredible in all of scripture. 8 words that give hope to everyone, letting the whole world know that the prophets from the beginning testified of truth. Jesus will come, he will die for us, and he will rise again. For you. Hope is possible, because he is risen. Now is the time to declare this truth to the world. Death is not the end because he has risen.

71
suffered these things for all
The greatest of all, Jesus Christ, suffered so we don't have to. Jesus Christ tells us in Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-18, that if we repent, we don't have to suffer. That he has taken this suffering, ALL OF IT, upon himself! What an amazing God we have! I will see you all tomorrow!
-
70
only he
Only Jesus Christ can satisfy the demands of justice. He, being perfect, atoned for our sins, meaning, he suffered the penalty for OUR sins which allows us to be reconciled to God. In Christ alone, we can be saved. I will see you all tomorrow.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ. I will see you all tomorrow!

receive that which is to follow
Part of the beauty of life (though it can be hard) is that tribulation and trials make us stronger. In Doctrine and Covenants 58:3-5 tells us that the good things that the Lord God will bless us with are things we can't even comprehend. Sometimes it feels like they won't come, but for those that wait upon the Lord, they come. I will see you all tomorrow!

and my father dwelt in a tent
1 Nephi 2:15 is commonly seen as a funny verse of scripture. Today my uncle shares why this verse shouldn't be overlooked. This verse, consisting of 7 words, teaches us things about humility others verses can't. A man of tremendous wealth and status, was commanded by the Lord to leave it all behind and to depart into the wilderness. And he did it without hesitation, Trusting that the Lord would provide for his family. Had he chosen his wealth over the Lord, he and his family would have perished alongside all of Jerusalem.Thank you Brian! I will see you all tomorrow!

my God hath been my support
My aunt shares one of her favorite verses with us today! It is found in 2 Nephi 4:20-21. Nephi shares with us that even amidst the trials and lows of life, God is our support. We are reminded that no matter what life throws at us, we are encircled about with his love! Thank you so much Korinne! I will see you all tomorrow!

let patience have her perfect work
James 1:2-4 is a reminder to us that patience is perfect. Gaining patience comes by patience. Funny how that works, but the Lord allows us to have trials and tribulations so that we can trow our patience and in turn, become whole. Like Him. I will see you tomorrow!
