During the month of Elul it was tradition for the King to come down off his throne and visit and talk with his people. As Christians it is a great reminder that our King wants to communicate with us!

Faith allows us to see God when others can’t see Him, Faith is the pillar that keeps us standing strong

The 1st time that you encounter Jesus is a life changing event.

Life is full of trials and test, but God has even more Grace to carry us over the hard times.

Today is Missions Sunday. Pastor Joe's sister Cindy Stephan came to update us on here home for abused women in Honduras.

If you ever have had a child, you know they can make a mess of things sometimes. Truth is that as Children to the Most High God, we create messes in our lives by doing the wrong things. But just as we love and forgive our children, God through His Grace forgives us our sins!

We are in hand to hand combat, not with people, but with principalities and authorities operating in rebellion. Because of this it is important to be able to recognize the spirits that attack us.

Whoever you obey, you give access to in your life. When you obey God, you give Him access into your life along with the abundant life He brings. When you obey the impulses of the enemy, you partake of his kingdom which brings death and destruction into your life.

I believe that everyone here would love to see Gods ... Glory, Grace, Presence, Favor and Mercy vividly working in our lives ... What are we willing to give back to a God that’s given us everything? Will we enter the presence of the Glorious King without a gift? What if that give we offer to God would be ourselves?

For you can all prophesy in turn and in an environment where all present can be instructed, encouraged, and strengthened. - 1 Corinthians 14:31

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. - Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT

God has gifted women to actively participate in ministry as much as he has gifted men. However, many have failed to recognize their giftings and contributions in the Body of Christ

Today is the day we celebrate moms. But for some women it can be a painful reminder of being childless, lost of a child or other traumatic event. But God values you the same whether you have children or not.

For some believing comes only after seeing, but for Christians believing enables them to see all that is possible with God!

Definition of Guilt: As Christianity is not about ritual or judgement. It is about following Jesus!

Definition of Guilt: “A feeling of having done wrong or failed in an obligation”. Guilt is like an acid that erodes us, but grace is Gods soothing touch that calms the storm

But Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you are asking! Are you able to drink from the bitter cup of suffering I am about to drink? Are you able to be baptized with the baptism of suffering I must be baptized with?"

Some Pharisees from the crowd told him, “Teacher, get your disciples under control!” But he said, “If they kept quiet, the stones would do it for them, shouting praise."

When the Centurion came to Jesus - healings had only occurred through physical touch. Yet the Centurion understood the authority Jesus walked in and the power of His spoken word!

Jesus came to “Save” the world. He came to save the lost and bring the sinners back into the family of God!

Mulligan: “An extra stroke allowed following a poor shot in golf that doesn’t get added to your scorecard “. Real life is the same way, there are times where we need lots of extra help and an unlimited supply of forgiveness. Jesus has patience and forgiveness for our lives when we shank things in our lives.

It's easy to love those who are easy to love, but the those who are angry and hateful towards us? How about those who just have a different prospective on life? God wants us to love all people, including ourselves.

Only God's agape love can transform and heal us. We need his love pouring into our lives so we can pour love out onto a hurting world.

What you sew is what you reap. Are you sewing love?

When we are facing a problem we can focus on one of two things, the Problem or God's love for us. Victory comes when we know our idenity in Christ!

Your attitude controls the direction you are traveling.

God loves you and values you.

But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root. - Romans 11:18

This church has a mandate to carry the Good News to wherever the Lord may direct us.

The Wise Men came bearing gifts, but the one gift we miss is that they were offering themselves to the newborn king.

Sacrifice - The act of giving up something valued for the sake of something regarded as more important or worthy.

Keep praying even when you feel feel like God is not moving that mountain for you. You touch God's heart as you press in deeper with prayer.

Do you believe God speaks to His people? If He has a plan for your life, it would be kind of silly for Him not to tell you what it is! The question is, do we want to know, and are we willing to follow that plan once He shows us….

There is a purpose for everything under the sun...you are not some cosmic burp....there is a Master design and a Master Designer at work.

How will your neighbor know the good news of Jesus Christ is you don't tell him?

And we know that we are not here haphazardly…..we were each born with significant purpose because according to Jeremiah 29:11 God declares “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

When we are not contected to God, life can feel like a black void until that day when we have our first encounter with the Lord.

When we are faced with different trials and storms we can become discouraged, but during these times remember that God is still with you!

You don't have to be strong, good looking, smart, wealthy or even have a good reputation to be on God's Team. He wants you just the way you are!

To stay strong in your faith, you need the proper foundation. When are faith is anchored to Jesus we can face adverse situations with confidence

The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. - Proverbs 18:21 Our words have more power than we know, but sometimes we have to live out those words through our actions. With our words we have the power to either bless or curse, to forgive or hold a grudge, to speak life or death into someone's situation.

“For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. - Mark 5:28-29 The woman with the flow of blood may have broken as many as 14 Jewish laws when she decided to reach out and touch Jesus, but Jesus didn't condemn her - he healed her! Are you willing to step out and reach out to Jesus?

But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. - Isaiah 43:1 Have you every felt alone, unworthy of God's love? God knows who you are, what you have done and the life you have lived. But no matter how you view your life, He wants you to know that He loves you and wants you to be His. All you need to do is respond to His invitation!

“Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?” Jesus asked. The man replied, “The one who showed him mercy.” Then Jesus said, “Yes, now go and do the same.” - Luke 10:36-37 We are called to love our brother's and sisters, but as Christians are we being more loving or more judging of them? Loving a brother or neighbor into the kingdom is way more effective than judgement!

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. - James 1:6 When we activate our faith and trust that God's hand is on our lives it brings Him much joy! Abba means both father and source, so our Heavenly Father is waiting for us to active our faith so he can bless us! Just keep asking, seeking and knocking and the Lord watch the Lord move in your life.

Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” - Luke 1:78-79 Jesus came to be a light to this world and through the Holy Spirit to place a light in each one of us. When a light switch is flipped on in a room, we do not need someone to announce they have flipped the switch on, the light is obvious. Our lives should be lived in the same way, we should not have to tell people we are Christians, the light in us should be obvious to the world!

Prayer and evangelism are two vital parts of any church. Without prayer there is no connection with God and evangelism is just the heart and passion of God. Evangelism is a mission and a plan for us to go back home to the Father. Evangelism needs to be a lifestyle of sharing who we are we are and what Christ has done in our lives. Without Evangelism, a church is becomes just a club with religious interests. Share Jesus with your friends and neighbors today and give them the greatest Christmas gift they could ever receive.

Do you know what your life’s message is and who you are called to bring it to? In other words, do you know why you are here? Life is an endless, fruitless exercise when we live it without purpose or direction. Why are you here? Or better yet, Why did the God of the Universe place you here at this time, in this place in history?
