Something To Think About: Keeping Your Spirit Healthy

Have your own words ever come back to haunt you? They have me! Sometimes that's humorous, other times not. It's something to think about!

Seems to me like our world is broken and there's debris all around us. What should we do? It's something to think about.

I can't say that this is a fun topic ... nowhere even close. But it's a necessary topic. I think it's worth your time. In fact ... it might make all the difference in the world.

You won't believe this story! It's all about misperceptions! And it certainly gives us something to think about.

This ongoing pandemic has forced us to make all kinds of controversial decisions, all day every day. That's stressful! How do you deal with the stress? It's something to think about.

Whether you think it fact or fiction, the Christmas story has a lesson for us all. Here is my prayer for this coming new year!

Are you getting weary of this pandemic? I sure am. But there are certain things that should never make you weary. Its something to think about.

It seems to me like we've gone full circle and this pandemic is starting all over again. Does it seem that way to you? Maybe we need to pause and reset our compass. I know that I do! It's something to think about.

The spokes of a wheel only work if properly connected to a central hub. What's at the very center of your life? It's something to think about.

We all have core beliefs, and those beliefs serve as a pair of glasses through which we view our world. How good are your glasses? It's something to think about.

Do you believe in virtues? Do you have some kind of moral code? In fact, you do! And it's definitely something to think about.

What's the difference between mental and spiritual health? Aren't they the same? It's something to think about.

Is it wise to ignore your physical ailments? What about the ailments of your spirit ... the immaterial "you"? Its something to think about.

Are the windows of your life so clouded that the world looks dark? Life should be joyful. A life of joy is a spiritual gift, and it's not hard to find. You just need to know where to look. It's something to think about.

What if everyone got to make up their own traffic laws or property laws? Would you want to live in that world? But what about moral laws? It's something to think about.

Who decides, for you, the things that you do, or say, or believe? Unfortunately, we often concede our thinking and our actions to the crowd. Is that wise? It's something to think about.

There's nothing quite like finding a willing helper in time of need. For some it's a way of life. It's something to think about.

Did you ever wish you could be more like Joe or Sue? Not a good idea. Learn to be content with who you are. You can shine ... if you decide to. It's something to think about.

You'll figure this one out pretty quickly. It's a problem we all face. But what do you do about it? It's something to think about.

What do people think of you? How much should that matter? Perceptions can be deceptive. It's something to think about.

You've heard of the slippery slope. Have you ever experienced it? It's a danger well worth thinking about!

How easy it is to focus only on ourselves. But there's a whole world out there to challenge our perspective. It's something to think about.

When your world is shaken, where do you turn? It's something to think about.

Remembering those who have lain down their lives for others, and one officer's faith that moved him to do so.

Have your plans, hopes, and dreams ever fallen apart before your eyes? Huge disappointments are part of life. How you deal with them is definitely something to think about.

Have you ever failed ... done something really stupid? Be honest. We've all been there. So what do you do about it? It's something to think about.

Some things never change, but other things can. What you do in a storm is up to you. It's something to think about.

Have you ever turned a corner and suddenly realized that nothing seemed right anymore? You're not alone! It's something to think about.

How do you handle all of the horrible things that you see and hear as a first responder? It's definitely something to think about.

Life can be serious, but it's not all doom and gloom. There's nothing like a good laugh to brighten your day. It's something to think about!

Okay, so death is on all of our minds. We're all trying to avoid it. But can we? It's something to think about.

Does anyone enjoy road construction? Can't imagine... but maybe it's something to think about.
