I share my thoughts on "authenticity" in the church and why I believe I lost my audience.

Today I share my thoughts on our rapid moral decent from Isaiah 5:20 and how Chick-Fil-A is an example.

On today's Sound Off we look at John 6:60 "Therefore, when many of his disciples heard this, they said "This teaching is hard. Who can accept it?" And that statement is especially true today in the church with regards to salvation, the starting point for the church.

We look at Ephesians 2:1-6 today and see how in the work of salvation, God does all the work. As always, thanks for listening!

Words do matter. As believers in Christ we are called to build rather than tear down. As I've been experiencing anger in my heart over the past few weeks I'm convicted by the Word to forgive and encourage. I pray you are also.

It amazes me that Christians have adopted the heresy that we are all "God's Children". Scripture points to the opposite: we are not.

Here are some quick thoughts on 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 and the return of Christ. As Christians, do we eagerly desire His return? Do we encourage one another with His promise to return? Hopefully this will provoke you to think on these things.

Do I really have to go to church? What is your attitude about church? If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, we are admonished by the writer of Hebrews not to "give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing."

We could really use your support in prayer today as we are struggling physically and spiritually.

Loneliness is real and it affects pastors on a daily basis. After recording this episode I realized that I "rabbit trail" on the topic but hopefully you'll get the point I'm trying to make. Thank you for listening to this series and I pray that The Lord has used this to minister to you.

In the 4th and final installment of "Hard Truth," we examine James 1:19-22. We say that we are in the faith but yet we don't obey the Word of God. Do not merely listen to the Word, let's strive to do what it says!

What fills our Prayer lists at church? Do we only pray for peoples boo-boos? I encourage you to pray deeper for people and their walk with Jesus.

"Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry..." But Most Christians don't really care. Let's be honest about that. We all struggle with some form of sin, mine is anger. And today that's what I'm honest about. Will you be honest before the Lord?

Both Peter and Paul have no issues with writing the same truth over and over again to believers. The Hard Truth in our culture today is that, do we desire to learn Scripture? or are we bored with hearing the "same thing" repeatedly?

Peter tells us that "the end of all things is near". And proceeds to tell us how we shoud conduct our lives. I encourage you as believers in Christ to listen to His Word!

People claim to know Christ but in truth reject His word and authority. The truth is these "Christians" are in our congregations and in leadership positions. No wonder ​we have issues within the church.

Jesus tells a parable about the Pharisee and the Tax Collector. One was self-righteous, the other was humble before God. Which are you?

Is the Word of God the "actual Word of God" for you? Do you believe it to be true? If not, then why do you go to church on a Sunday morning? This the first in a series of "Hard Truths" from Scripture. But this podcast is the starting point. Do you believe the Word or not?

Peter encourages us to cast all our anxiety on Jesus.

Paul gives the Christians in Rome some sound instruction on walking with our neighbors. Let us take heed to the Scripture and walk that way today.

If we are in Christ we are a new creation! All this is from God and not from us. Be encouraged in Jesus today!

Psalm 141:1-4, David cries out to God for help with his mouth and his deeds. What about us?

Paul’s closing remarks about people who cause division in the church.

The truth of Christ is that He divides. He makes the claim that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the father except through Him. That's not a popular teaching in today's culture, where do you stand on that?

The definition of what love looks like.

Let's Just praise the Lord! Even in the bad, I pray Psalm 150 edifies you today.

Today we read through Psalm 4. May God bless you this Sunday.

No matter what mood we are in, we should always give thanks to the Lord. For, He is good, and His love endures forever.

Paul instructs the Thessalonian believers how to live to please God.

I just want to encourage believers to slow down and digest God's Word.

Rejoice in the Lord! Always! An encouragement from Paul to rejoice and trust in the Lord.

Are you content in Christ or are you chasing/pursuing the things of this world? Join me in looking at 1 Timothy 3-12 and lets examine ourselves in light of our relationship with Christ.

Paul encourages believers to follow his example as he follows Christ. Let us have the same attitude.

False Teachers in the Church and is the Word of God authoritative in/over your life?

Test the spirits from 1 John 4:1-6

Paul encourages Timothy in his walk with Jesus, may these verses be an encouragement as well.

Paul tells us in Galatians that there is no other Gospel, except Christ alone. Are you trusting in yourself? your works? your money? your church membership? etc. Trust in Christ alone for your salvation and nothing else.

There is no other Gospel except the true Gospel of Christ alone.

As only 1 of 2 churches that received a positive message from the Lord let us listen and hear what the Spirit has to say.
