If you have experienced trauma, (which means if you are a human being), you are not one. You have parts or alters with their own personalities and beliefs and way of being in the world, these parts don't just exist in your mind. There are parts of your spirit that have actually been split off as well. Jesus teaches us that if we are not one, we are not his.
