Live Like You're In A Battle | Luke Scott

Advent reminds us we’re in a battle. Revelation 12 shows that the birth of Christ wasn’t sentimental but a cosmic act of sabotage against the powers of darkness. The nativity is a battlefield, not a postcard. Because Christ has already won, we stand firm by clinging to the blood of the Lamb and boldly sharing our testimony. Don’t be surprised by spiritual resistance this season — expect it and fight it with worship, witness and courageous perseverance.

  23. 79

Live Like Jesus Is Already Here | Ant Dixon

As we begin Advent, Ant reminds us that Jesus is not distant. The One we wait for is already walking among His churches. Before we look ahead to His return, we’re called to recognise His presence in our midst today. The risen Christ stands among the lampstands refining His people, urging us toward holiness, rekindled first love, wholehearted devotion rather than lukewarm faith and steadfastness in trials. Advent starts with seeing where Jesus already is — with His people.

Ten Commandments... 1. Live By Priorities | Simon Dust

Simon concludes our series with the first commandment — “You shall have no other gods before me”. He reminds us that this command isn’t about restriction but about priority: letting the God who rescued us be at the centre of everything. As we mark Gift Day, Simon invites us to consider what it really looks like to put God first — in our love, decisions, resources, and hopes — living with reordered priorities that reflect His goodness and grace.

  25. 77

Ten Commandments... 2. Know God | Lydia Lee

As we continue through the Ten Commandments, Lydia explores the second commandment — “You shall not make for yourself an idol”. She shows how idols aren’t just statues but anything we shrink God down into or trust more than Him. In contrast, the living God is beyond our control, full of love, power and compassion. Lydia encourages us to know God as He truly is, letting go of the substitutes we create and allowing His real character to reshape our worship, trust and daily lives.

  26. 76

Ten Commandments... 3. Take God Seriously | Simon Dust

Continuing through the Ten Commandments, Simon looks at what it means not to “take the name of the Lord your God in vain”. He helps us see that this command goes far beyond avoiding certain words — it’s about how we represent God in all we say and do. Our words reveal our hearts, and Jesus calls us to honesty, integrity, and reverence in every part of life. Simon invites us to use God’s name with truth, humility, and love that honours Him daily.

  27. 75

Ten Commandments... 4. Catch Your Breath | Mike J

As we continue in the Ten Commandments, Mike explores God’s call to “remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy”. He reminds us that Sabbath isn’t about rules or guilt, but about rest, delight and trusting God with our limits. In Jesus, we see that Sabbath is ultimately about relationship — not restriction — and finding our rest in Him. Mike encourages us to pause, resist the pressure to always produce and receive the gift of God’s rest for weary hearts and busy lives.

  28. 74

Ten Commandments... 5. Keep Peace With Your Parents | Lydia Lee

As we continue our series on the Ten Commandments, Lydia helps us reflect on what it means to “honour your father and mother,” drawing from Ephesians 6. She reminds us that this command isn’t about blind obedience, but about learning to live in the light of God’s grace — even when family relationships are painful or complex. With compassion and realism, Lydia explores how we can keep pace with our parents in love, forgiveness and faith, trusting God to bring healing where it’s needed.

  29. 73

Ten Commandments... 6. Manage Your Anger | Simon Dust

Simon preaching on James 1v19-27. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A19-27&version=NIV 📖 Simon continues our Ten Commandments series by looking at what it really means to keep the command “Do not murder.” Jesus shows us that anger, bitterness, and careless words can wound and destroy just as deeply as physical violence. Simon will help us see how true obedience goes beyond avoiding harm — it’s about cultivating hearts that listen, forgive, and act with compassion. As we explore James’ call to be “doers of the word,” we’ll be invited to let God transform our reactions and relationships, reflecting His mercy and peace in a world marked by conflict.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

    Ten Commandments... 7. Affair-Proof Your Relationships | Mike J

Mike preaching on Matthew 5v27-30. Find the reading at: https://https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%205%3A27-30&version=NIV 📖 Mike continues our series on the Ten Commandments by unpacking Jesus’ words in Matthew 5. In a culture where traditional marriage is often questioned or devalued, Mike will explore what it means to “affair-proof” our relationships and guard our hearts in a world full of temptation. He’ll point us to the deeper joy of rediscovering God’s beautiful, biblical vision for marriage. Whether married, single or dating, this passage challenges us all to pursue love that reflects Christ’s covenant commitment to His people.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Investing In The Next Generation | John McGinley

John preaching on 1 Chronicles 22v1-5. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Chronicles%2022%3A1-5&version=NIV 📖 John explores the importance of investing in the next generation, drawing from 1 Chronicles 22v1–5 and reports of the so-called "quiet revival." He reflects on David’s preparation for Solomon to build the temple, highlighting the call for us to resource, encourage, and equip younger believers. In a time of spiritual renewal, John challenges us to lay foundations now—through prayer, mentorship, and generosity—for a future we may not fully see ourselves.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Debbie preaching on Luke 19v1-10. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2019%3A1-10&version=NIV 📖 Debbie explores the story of Zaccheus, a tax collector transformed by his encounter with Jesus. Through this lens, she unpacks the commandment "Thou shall not steal," challenging us to examine not just physical theft, but also integrity in our finances and relationships. Debbie encourages listeners to seek prosperity that aligns with a clean heart and a clear conscience, reminding us that true success comes when we live honestly and honor God's commands.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Simon preaching on James 3v5-12. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%203%3A5-12&version=NIV 📖 As part of our Ten Commandments series, Simon speaks on the ninth commandment, Do not bear false witness, drawing on James 3v5–12. He shows how powerful and destructive our words can be, especially through gossip, lies, and careless speech. Just as the tongue can set a forest ablaze, gossip spreads harm and division. Simon urges us to hold to the truth, to speak words that build up rather than tear down, and to let our speech reflect God’s character.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Nexus Opening Sunday | Bishop Dave

Bishop Dave preaching on 2 Chronicles 6v12, 17-21 and 7v1-3 📖 Bishop Dave Bull, Bishop of Buckingham, spoke at the opening of the new Nexus building. He reflected on Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the temple, asking that God’s presence would dwell among His people and that prayers offered here would be heard. As fire fell and glory filled the temple, so we pray this building becomes a place of encounter, worship, and blessing for the whole community.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Ant preaching on Exodus 20v1-17. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%2020%3A1-17&version=NIV 📖 We begin our Ten Commandments series at the end—with “You shall not covet.” The world tells us happiness comes from more: more stuff, more success, more status. But the truth is, “the grass is always greener” is a lie. This talk explores the tenth commandment, exposes the emptiness of materialism, and shows how God offers a deeper, lasting contentment. Discover practical principles to cultivate gratitude and joy where you are, rather than longing for what you don’t have.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

    Vision Sunday | Simon Dust

Simon preaching on Acts 11v19-30. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%2011%3A19-30&version=NIV 📖 Acts 11 reminds us that revival rarely begins with fanfare—it often starts quietly, as ordinary people follow Jesus in everyday life. Today, we see signs of a similar quiet revival in our nation: young people, especially Gen Z, are rediscovering faith through genuine community, a deep spiritual hunger, and honest conversations about the gospel. This Vision Sunday invites us to recognise where God is moving in this generation—to open our lives in friendship, to invest in their discipleship, and to give ourselves generously for the sake of His mission. As Antioch shows us, small seeds—nurtured by prayer andfaithfulness—can grow into a movement that changes the world.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

A Doubter Who Believes In The Evidence | Alice Nichols-James

Alice preaching on John 20v19-20, 24-29. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%2020%3A19-20%2CJohn%2020%3A24-29&version=NIV 📖 Thomas doubted the resurrection until he saw the physical evidence of Jesus' wounds. Jesus didn't rebuke Thomas for doubting but provided the evidence needed for faith. This passage highlights that our faith is rational; a disciple's belief in the resurrection, like Thomas's, is based on evidence, and our faith invites questions. As such, we mustn't fear that our doubts disqualify us from discipleship because doubt is not the opposite of faith but part of the journey toward understanding and belief.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

A Disciple Is A Risk Taker Who Makes Mistakes | Jamie Mitchell

Jamie preaching on Matthew 14v22-33 . Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2014%3A22-33&version=NIV 📖 Jamie highlights that a disciple is a risk-taker who makes mistakes. When Jesus walks on water, He calls Peter to step out of the boat and walk toward Him. Peter, filled with boldness, steps out, but when he focuses on the wind and waves, he begins to sink. In that moment of failure, Jesus immediately reaches out to save him, teaching that risk and failure are part of the journey of discipleship. While Peter made a mistake, his willingness to take the risk set him apart. Discipleship involves stepping out in faith, knowing that even in failure, Jesus is there to catch us.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

A Disciple Is A Leader Who Is Servant Of All | Josh Jones

Josh preaching on Mark 9v33-37. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%209%3A33-37&version=NIV 📖Josh teaches that true leadership in God's kingdom is found in serving others. The disciples argued about greatness, but Jesus redefined leadership—not as status or power, but as humility and service. He showed that the greatest influence comes through putting others first. Leadership is not about position; it's about impact, and we influence people most when we serve them. Jesus illustrated this by welcoming a child, showing that no act of service is too small. As disciples, we lead not by demanding, but by giving, not by seeking recognition, but by loving others as Christ did.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

A Disciple Is A Witness To The God Who Knows You | Mike J

Mike preaching on John 1v43-51. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%201%3A43-51&version=NIV 📖Mike shows that a disciple is a witness to the God who knows us personally. When Philip encounters Jesus, he immediately finds Nathanael and invites him to "come and see." Nathanael is sceptical, but Jesus reveals that He already knows him, proving that He sees beyond the surface. This encounter transforms Nathanael into a believer. Like Philip, we are called to share Jesus—not with perfect arguments, but with an invitation to experience Him. Evangelism isn't about pressure or persuasion but bearing witness to the God who knows, loves, and calls each person to Himself. Who will you invite?👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

A Disciple Is A Sinner Who's Given a New Identity | Ant Dixon

Ant preaching on Luke 6v13-16 and Matthew 9v9-13. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%206%3A13-16%3B%20Matthew%209%3A9-13%20&version=NIV 📖Ant show us that a disciple's identity is not rooted in their past but in Christ. Jesus called both Simon the Zealot, a political radical, and Matthew, a tax collector despised as a traitor, into the same group of disciples. Their pasts were vastly different, yet their new identity in Jesus united them. In the same way our history, whether marked by failure, sin or status, does not determine our worth. In Christ, we are made new. We no longer live in the shadows of our past but are called into a new identity—one that is shaped by Jesus and His redemptive love all for a greater purpose. Our identity is not in what we were, but in who He is, transforming how we see ourselves and others.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Luke preaching on 1 Corinthians 14v26-32. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2014%3A26-32&version=NIV 📖When we worship, there is a natural outflow — sometimes we’re healed or changed, other times we grow in holiness. As we draw near to God, we should see the fruit of the Spirit increasing in us — love, joy, peace, patience and kindness. Worship also opens space for the gifts of the Spirit, like tongues and prophecy, which build up the church and reveal God’s presence among us. As we live lives fully surrendered to Jesus, we experience His transforming power both in us and through us.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Simon preaching on John 15v9-15. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%2015%3A9-15&version=NIV 📖Our goal in worship is to encounter the presence of Jesus and experience His love, empowerment and healing in our lives. In this talk, Simon explores several analogies found in the Bible that illustrate this intimacy—such as being a friend of God, children of God and the bride of Christ—showing how you can experience deeper intimacy with God through worship.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

What is it about our DNA, vision, and values that leads us to seek the intimate presence of Jesus and invite the Spirit of God to bring healing and wholeness among us? Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Colossians%203%3A12-17&version=NIV 📖We often think of worship as being singing songs, praying or going to church. Mike preaching on 1 Corinthians 12v12-31. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2012%3A12-31&version=NIV 📖The church is a body and where every member has a vital role. We often think of church as a place to have our needs met, but Scripture calls us to serve others. Just as a body suffers when one part is missing, the church is incomplete without you. You might think you don't need the church, but the church needs you—your gifts, encouragement, and presence. God designed us to depend on one another, not to live in isolation. Church is not just an event; it is where we draw near to God, encourage one another, and strengthen our faith. Sunday worship isn't optional—it's vital. We are called to be eager to meet with God and His people, knowing that together we are God's household, built together as His dwelling place by the Spirit. So, Church is not just a routine but a place of divine encounter, where God's presence is uniquely experienced. All this means we should hasten to church, eager to worship and be shaped by Him, and be slow to leave, knowing He meets us there as, in worship, we are shaped, encouraged, and united in Christ.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

Do I Belong to or Attend the Church? | Debbie Dust

Debbie preaching on 1 John 3v1-18. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20John%203%3A1-18&version=NIV.The church is not just a group we attend, but a family we belong to. We are called children of God, bound together by His love. Church isn't a membership club or a service provider designed to meet our preferences—it's a spiritual family where we love, serve, and grow together. Just as we don’t abandon our biological family over minor disagreements, we shouldn’t treat church like a supermarket, switching based on changing tastes, suboptimal “customer service,” or personal convenience. True belonging means commitment, sacrificial love, and unity through thick and thin. The church is where we learn to love as Christ loved—deeply, faithfully, and unconditionally.👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/

The Radical Jesus Rides A Donkey Not A Mercedes | Simon Dust

Simon preaching on Matthew 21v1-11. Find the reading at: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2021%3A1-11&version=NIV.On Palm Sunday, Jesus rides into Jerusalem not on a large white stallion, but on a donkey. He always confounds expectations of the Messiah. This world seeks status, money and achievement to parade to others, whereas Jesus models a downward trajectory. How can we learn to follow this model of wearing a towel rather than the bling of this world?👋 Join us at 10.15am, every Sunday. 🌍 Stay Connected Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/standrews_hw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/standrewshw Website: https://www.standrewshw.co.uk/
