Do not disbelieve, but believe
Risen Lord Jesus, you came into the midst of fearful disciples and spoke your peace. You met Thomas in his doubt and drew him into faith. Breathe your Spirit upon us, that our fears may be stilled, our doubts held in your mercy, and our hearts opened to believe. Strengthen us to trust your promises and to live as witnesses of your resurrection; for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Sacred Protest
God of palms and passion, you accompany us as we follow Jesus into Jerusalem and toward the cross. Preserve us in our rejoicing, forgive us in our betrayals, and empower us to name injustice. Grant us a vision of the cross that reveals to us Christ's unfailing commitment to the work and wonder of love. May our hears overflow with such love and justice, and may our "hosannas" be our most fervent prayers for the salvation your promise us, through Christ our hope. Amen.

Accountable Leadership
God of love, you demonstrate your care for us by coming among us as Jesus, our Good Shepherd. Tend to us with mercy, gather us when we wander. protect us from the perils of this world, and bring all people together into one fold. Help us to recognize Christ's voice and Christ's calling. Remind us we are known. We are loved. We are invited to follow. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Grounded Resistance
God of the wildness, you claim us and embrace us in love: we are yours. When we face uncertainties and temptations that cause us to question your provision, doubt our belovedness, or exploit our faith for worldly gain, lead us back, again and again, to words of scripture, and to the living Word, Jesus Christ. May we hold fast in faith and serve you with our whole hearts, this day and always. Amen.
