Stories of Resiliency offers a series of Anishinaabe elder teachings recorded and illustrated by young leaders of the Giinawiind Giginitaawigi'gomin Program of the American Indian Community Housing Organziation. In Progress artist Kristine Sorensen has been working with AICHO since 2010 and had the privilege of supporting these efforts as a teaching artist and mentor in partnership with Giinawiind's Program Staff Kayla Jackson, Mia Mendez, and Elena Steele.This podcast series presents 16 unique teachings by elders Rick DeFoe, Kevin Kott, Bruce Savage and Tawny Savage.The producers of this series are: Ayeden Diver-Anderson, Elijah Kot, Zoey Moder, Patience Thompson, Kendal Kot, Channing Powers, Sierra Thompson.© 2024
