Finishing Well (by Pastor Eric D. Shin) - 2 Timothy 4:6-8
This past weekend, Pastor Eric D. Shin of New Life Fellowship Church in Houston, TX came down to sunny Southern California to bless us with God's Word on finishing our lives well as servants who devote their lives glorifying the Kingdom of God. Come listen as Pastor Eric gives us the raw and unfiltered reality of following Christ, which rather fulfills us more than anything the world has to offer to us. Luke: Legal Is Lethal - Luke 5:27-39
This week, Pastor Tim refers to a passage within Luke 5 where he eats with the tax collectors, one of them notably known as Levi, which is the Hebrew name for the author of the first Gospel Matthew. The Pharisees, who hated the tax collectors like Matthew, questions Jesus as to why he is eating with those types of people, and the answer was plain simple: Jesus ate with the sinners. He chose to provide life for them, and for us. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or follow us on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Break The Roof - Luke 5:17-26
We continue in Luke 5 as we listen to the passage of the paralyzed man being healed by Jesus, all of which was assisted by the paralyzed man's friends who helped him get brought down so that he can approach Jesus. This is a passage where we're able to realize that despite our struggles and sins, this race was never meant to be run alone but rather with those around us--on top of that, God's desire to save us is so much greater from our desire to be saved, so we hope this is an encouragement for all those who are fighting their spiritual battles at this moment. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or follow us on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Trading Places - Luke 5:12-16
As with the other Gospels, Luke also recounts the story of the leper whom Jesus healed when he approached him. In Jewish historical context, lepers were exiled into their own designated camps and yet the faith that the leper had a about Jesus being the healer and the risk he took to see him within the city, where he was banned from being in, was more than enough proof for the Son to heal his leprosy. In the end, we are all like the leper ourselves going through the process of forgiveness that Christ provides--and yet, he spends solitude with God through all this, not drawing the attention to him but to the Father. I Am A Child Of God - Matthew 18:1-14
We take a step back from our series in Luke this week and go back to one of Pastor Tim's previous sermon that he preached at the New Generation Conference back in summer of 2025. In the passage of Matthew 18, Jesus surprises the disciples with his answer to the question of who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven: children. To be stewards of His Words, we must embrace childlike faith in our lives. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Go Fish - Luke 5:1-11
As we continue our series in Luke, we get to the passage that mostly everyone is familiar with--the calling of the disciples. A big thing to note about these disciples is that they weren't scholarly individuals or anything--they were just fishermen, which was the lowliest of all jobs at the time. Yet Jesus calls them to drop everything they have and follow him, and what brilliance did they have to obey his commands and shake up history as we see it today. This applies to us in house church ministry as well: fishers of men confess, obey, and follow. Let's strive to be those reaching the lost. Luke: Empty Cup, Full Kingdom - Luke 4:42-44
Serving in ministry in and of itself is one of the biggest blessings a Christian can have. Oftentimes, serving gets mistranslated in how we want to either be reciprocated or recognized for, if not even both. When we mistranslate the purpose of serving, it is then when we need to spend solitude with God to truly understand what it means to serve the Kingdom. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: From Tarot To Prayer - Luke 4:31-41
This week, Reverend Tim goes talks about demons, which actually exist in this world. We see demons trying to oppress us, especially Christians, because they know how to stray us away from God. But little do these demons know that Jesus casts them out of our hearts and remains triumphant in us, and because of that, we strive to be more like Him and drive the demons out while remaining steadfast in His Word. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Hook, Line, & Sinker - Luke 4:1-13
We are BACK in our series in Luke as Reverend Tim talks more about temptation as it is. Christians will definitely face many temptations in their lives in all sorts of ways--unfortunately, because of the many sins that exist in this world, it's inevitable for us to avoid those things, but understanding where our identities are, which is in Christ, determines the way we approach temptations in our lives. Much of temptation is a baited hook; it masks our own fleshly and worldly desires to lure us in, but to exemplify Christ in our lives, we must be able to triumph over those things through Him and place our identities in Him alone, glorifying Him as a result. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

One Another (by Pastor Mitchell Perez) - John 13:34-35
For our first Sunday of 2026, Pastor Mitchell Perez of The Home Church has blessed us with the Word discussing the concept of "one another" as mentioned in the Scriptures. God has given us the commandment of loving one another as Jesus does, and when we choose be "one another," we gives our lives to others and seek their good even when it costs you, which sounds similar to what Jesus did. ESC & KSC, We Are One! (by Rev. Daeho Yu) - Ephesians 2:19
Reverend Daeho Yu, the founder of God's Family Church, has blessed us with one final sermon before his retirement as the head pastor of our ministry discussing how we as a church are part of the family of God as mentioned on Ephesians 2:19, which is where our ministry's name originates from. Luke: The CHRISTmas Tree - Luke 3:23-38
Merry Christmas from us at GFC to you! We hope everyone celebrates the real reason for this season, and that is none other than Jesus Christ, who was born into this world to be sacrificed for our sins as the Lamb of God so that we may receive eternal life. In this passage of Luke, Jesus' genealogy is quite interesting in that among those in his lineage, God was able to use broken, yet faithful people that prophesied the return of the Messiah that would come into the world and change history into half. The Key To Freedom - Matthew 18:21-35
This Sunday, we take a step back from the series of Luke and learn more about the key to freedom. What is the most important thing in Christian life? That's none other than RELATIONSHIPS--in our relationships, many conflicts will happen, someone might have wronged you, or vice versa. That's where the key to freedom comes in: forgiveness. To provide forgiveness is a very Christ-minded thing to do because you're paying off the debt where you might have been wronged. More importantly, Jesus did that for us on the cross--in order for us to reflect His image, shouldn't we be imitating what He did for us so that others may know His glory? For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

The Thanksgiving Sermon - Luke 17:11-19
Sincerest Thanksgiving holiday to everyone! To celebrate, Reverend Tim takes us to the passage in Luke about Jesus healing the ten lepers. One leper, a Samaritan, actually comes back to Jesus thanking Him for healing to which Jesus replies, "your faith has made you well." In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we should be in remembrance of and thankfulness for His providence, and the love and wholeness that God provides for us is something nobody can take away. Let's be thankful for that. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: From Confusion To Clarity - Luke 2:41-52
Pastor Tim is back after a 3-week hiatus from speaking to resume our series in the Book of Luke. He tells the account of 12-year-old Jesus debating with the teachers while out in Jerusalem, a remarkable sight to see considering that Jesus was just a mere kid debating with these teachers. By doing so, he was honoring his Father, which was something many could not understand what he meant until much later. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or visit us on Instagram @gfchouse.

A Culture Of Honor (by Rev. Stephen Chong) - Malachi 1:6-11
As we wrap up our 3-week series of guest speakers here at GFC, we had the privilege of listening to Reverend Stephen Chong bless us with the Word on building a culture of honor as godly men and women. We believe in a God who's blessed us with everything that we have in our lives, and as a result, we as Christians must honor Him with worship and praise. Knowing Context (by Prof. James Lee) - Acts 2:29-47
This Sunday, we had the privilege of listening to Professor James Lee of Biola University preach on understanding the reasons as to how and why we strive to be a Christ-centered community. It's laid out for us in this specific passage here in Acts 2--in the New Testament church, we see Jesus's newly spirit-filled disciples devote themselves to one another, breaking bread with them from house to house and eating joyfully with sincere hearts. Why is that? That's because Jesus was the Messiah that died for our sins and rose from the dead, which allowed them to glorify Him through their lives and worship, and to truly live for Christ meant genuine repentance. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Christmas In the Fall - Luke 2:1-21
This Sunday, we continue with the Gospel of Luke by looking at the story of Jesus's birth written from Luke's perspective after interviewing many witnesses of Jesus's life and ministry that was intended to be written for Theophilus. In this particular passage of Jesus's birth in the manger, it's notable that Jesus, the firstborn son of Mary and Joseph and also the Son of God, was born in the lowliest of all places in a manger where shepherds, the first witnesses of his birth, were located. He wasn't born anywhere fancy and extravagant, but at the lowliest of all places, and history would later reveal what was to come. Luke: Man VS. Wild - Luke 1:57-80
This week in Luke, we learn more about one of the most important biblical figures in the history of the world that is none other than John the Baptist. Born from Zechariah and Elizabeth as a man who wore a garment made of camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist with a locust-based diet, John the Baptist was someone who baptized Jesus and paved his way to be revealed as the Messiah of the world. Through his time in ministry, he left a legacy of glorifying the Son of God and left us with the famous words: "He must become greater, I must become less."For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Mary's Song - Luke 1:39-56
We continue in our series in the Book of Luke as we learn more about Mary, a prominent figure in shaping the history of what was to come. Mary is significant in part of Jesus' life from birth, in ministry, and later to his death and resurrection and frankly, we as Christians do not give a lot of credit that she deserves. A noteworthy characteristic in Mary was that she was faithful; her obedience serves as an example for us to follow and she did live this life of faith alone. If anything, she clung to her community that gave her strength and perspective, and through this, we are reminded that we are not meant to walk this life of faith alone. We hope that this example will be something that we can implement in our own house church meetings. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com/ or check us out on Instagram @gfchouse.

House Church Reflections - Various Texts
God's Family Church is undergoing some exciting changes, especially with our own house churches. We at GFC believe that house church ministry is the core value of reaching the lost, bringing them to have a saving relationship with Jesus, and making disciples out of them who later make disciples. In this world, especially in today's political and spiritual climate, we need Jesus more than ever; that is why God's Family Church aims to reach out to our loved ones who have not heard about the Good News and invite them to receive Jesus through our very own house churches. Take a listen as Reverend Tim helps us explore the things that he's learned from a house church conference he attended in Dallas and how that we could apply that in our own lives and relationships. We apologize for any technical difficulties that have happened during the sermon. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com or follow us on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Ordinary Woman, Extraordinary Faith - Luke 1:26-38
Of all the remarkable female figures that are written about in the Bible, there stands one woman who oftentimes doesn't get recognized as much for her faithfulness, and that is none other than Jesus's mother, Mary. As we dive into who Mary was in the Book of Luke, we realize that Mary should be commended for giving birth to our Lord and Savior and also for her faithfulness in what was to happen to her own life and for what was to come that would change the history of the world. For more information about our church, visit https://gfchouse.com or follow us on Instagram @gfchouse.

Luke: Breaking Silence - Luke 1:5-25
After a 400-year period of silence of the transition from the Old to the New Testament, the Gospel of Luke breaks that silence when Herod is rampant and tries to kill all firstborn children after learning the Messiah will be born in Israel. We see the account of the faithful Zechariah and Elizabeth giving birth to their son John the Baptist, who was filled with the Spirit in the womb and was to proclaim the name of Jesus in the future.
