There's so much wisdom in this episode—enjoy!Show Notes: https://www.95network.org/dales-turning-60-reflections-on-the-past-40-years-of-ministry-w-dale-caralee-episode-134/Support the Show: https://www.95network.org/contact-us/ Links to Resources Mentioned or RelatedHalftime: Moving From Success To Significance by Bob BufordDale's Unexpected Sabbatical Story – Episode 9140 Years in the Making: Dale's Stalled Story – Episode 44Use code PODCAST to get 10% off anything in our store!Read Stalled: Hope and Help for Pastors Who Thought They’d Be There By NowWatch Podcast on YouTubeKey Takeaways1) As Dabo Swinney says, "There's nothing less important than the score at halftime." After 40, many of us pivot from pursuing success to pursuing significance. Over the years, Dale has learned that living a meaningful life looks more like loving God, loving family, and obeying what He's called us to do. 2) Jesus came to give us life. We can let our strivings cease and start living freely by knowing that we don't have to adhere to a particular set of rules just to measure up. Jesus loves you because He loves you. He doesn't love you because of what you've done, who you are, or how you perform. 3) God doesn't need our help. God can accomplish whatever He wants, and He certainly doesn't need us to do that. However, He wants a relationship with us. Let Him pursue you!Subscribe (and Leave a Review!)Be sure to subscribe to The 95 Podcast on whatever platform you prefer!
