This week the Tribe Assembly turned 5! In line with VISION SUNDAY our lead pastors Ferdy & Lily share some amazing news with us. They reacquaint us with the vision of the house & the body of Christ at large, while charging us to focus on cultural renewal by the way of the gospel through love in all spheres, and keeping character at our core.

Holy Ambitions, Holy Violence, Holy Imaginations - The three things Jesse Dan-Yusuf says we need to take territories. Speaking from 1 Chronicles 4: 9- 10, he teaches on why the children of God should take and expand territories. God is calling us to expansion; to take over territories, stretching out to the ends of the earth to dominate kingdoms and systems. In our final episode of the ambitions series "Expanding Territories", we take a deeper look at what the great commission in action looks like with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

There are certain principles that guide the path to righteous ambition. In this episode of our AMBITIONS series, Dr Charles Ononiwu breaks down these kingdom principles and why they are important for us as believers.

The goal of the gospel is for salvation to be spread to the ends of the earth. We are called to be the move of this great commission which Jesus began and has now handed over to us.  We must make it our ambition to preach the good news of Christ in places where he has not been named before. For us to move in the direction God has called us to for the year, here are a few things we will need to take up along the way; Pray first, Fast first, Serve first, Give first and Love first. Pastor Jesse Dan-Yusuf explains as inspired by Romans 15:15-20. Before we set out for our ambitions for 2022, we must attend to first things first.

WE ARE THE MOVE OF GOD On the 31st of December the Tribe Abuja held her watch night service to usher the children of God into the year ahead. Leaning fully on God's word to understand the true meaning of prophecy regarding the direction of the year 2022. We established that we were done waiting for the move of God, that we were rising up to the privilege of our responsibility to be the move of God in the year ahead.

Jesus Our King: As we go deeper into the reason for Christmas, we're reminded of God's perfect plan - Sending Jesus as King to rule and reign while bringing justice, eternal life, love, righteousness and the overall law of the Lord to pass here on earth. I'm the final installment of our Jesus series, we see just how we are called to reign alongside Him and what that should look like for us.

Following last week's discussion we see Jesus as "Prophet": The one who reveals God's will and heart to the world.  We see what it means for the gift of prophecy to be used to build the church and how that mantle has been passed on to us as co-heirs and ambassadors of the kingdom of heaven.

Understanding the roles Jesus had to play in the completion of the salvation story is important to us as believers. This is so we can get a full picture of the commission that He handed over to us to continue. As we explore this series of Jesus as priest, prophet and King, celebrating His birth will surely take on an even deeper meaning for us.  In this episode, we see Jesus as "Priest" : The one who reconciles the lost world to God.
