Edward Harold Bell was a convicted murderer and suspected serial killer from Texas, believed to be connected to the unsolved killings of multiple young girls in the 1970s. In 1978, Bell murdered Larry Dickens, a 26-year-old Marine and father, in front of multiple witnesses in Pasadena, Texas. While incarcerated, Bell made chilling claims in letters to law enforcement. The Texas Killing Fields refers to a stretch of land along Interstate 45 between Houston and Galveston, notorious for being the dumping ground of multiple murder victims—primarily young women and girls—starting in the 1970s.This 25-mile corridor became infamous after the discovery of numerous unsolved murders and disappearances, many involving teenage girls who vanished while walking or hitchhiking. Happy New Years Eve everyone! On our last episode of 2024, we talk about the radium girls. In the 1920's radium was a new and fascinating element that was used on watch faces and instrument panels. The girls who worked with this element were told by their companies, Radium Dial and U.S. Radium, that it was completely harmless. Soon enough, some of the workers started to experience tooth pain. The Babes in the Wood Murders is a name that was used in the media to refer to a child murder case in which the bodies of three girls were found in Pennsylvania woodland. On November 24, 1934, John Clark and Clark Jardine found the bodies of 3 children, Norma Sedgwick, age 12, Dewilla Noakes age 10, and Cordelia Noakes age 8, under a blanket in the woods along Pennsylvania Route 233, aka Centerville Road. In 2003, a man walks into PNC bank and hands the teller a note with the demands that she fill this persons bag with $250,000 and she only has 15 minutes. After receiving some of the money, the man strolls out of the bank swinging the bag of money and a cane. Within the hour that man, who had a bomb strapped to his neck, will basically explode on national TV.
