We can learn so much about our relationship with Jesus by looking at the traditions of the Jewish wedding ceremony. This week we see that, traditionally, the groom goes to prepare a place for his bride. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us (his bride). The question is how are we preparing ourselves for his return?

Jesus desires His disciples to become apostles (the ones sent) and teach what they have learned. We look at the need to go from student to teacher.

What is it about us that we feel we are doing Jesus a favor by following Him?

To often we believe that the journey we are called on with Jesus is intended to be a comfortable one but, Jesus called us to a life changing journey rather than a comfortable one. Does your love of comfort get in the way of your journey with Jesus?

Understanding the disciple rabbi relationship is so important in our understanding with Jesus. This week we see that Jesus called His disciples to Him and we talk through the fact that we have also been called.

Continuing to unpack the question: “What does it mean to be human”?

We ask ourselves the question, "What does it mean to be human?"

Sharing your faith is simply not natural yet God tells us to go and tell the world about Him. In this message we talk through how to make it a way of life.

There seems to be so many things we are called to do that don’t seem natural. Finding God as we transition in life is something we talk about often but struggle to actually do. This week we highlight the transition of Timothy from student to teacher and The Element Seniors as they graduate and do the same.

God has offered us grace though we don’t deserve it. To accept His grace is to accept His love for us.

This week we look at the purpose of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives.

If we truly understood God as father and that He sent His son to to Earth, we would be in awe of His Sacrifice. As you listen to this talk, I would suggest doing what the students did here in the room. You’ll understand when you hear it. God ended His great symphony of creation with the crescendo of man. He looked upon His creation and said it was good!

If we were to truly live our lives in awe of God, it would change every aspect of who we are! Too often we get caught up in our personal religious checklist and completely overlook the awe factor of the God we serve. We say that we have a relationship and not a religion, but so often our actions contradict that. We take a look at the relational dynamic of our faith.

Jesus enters the scene with the Sermon on the mount, one of the most pivotal moments in history. When He teaches, it requires you to do something with what you hear. "The way you live, is what you believe and everything else is just talk"

We surround ourselves with a variety of media outlets and we forget to leave room in our lives to hear the voice of God.

Often we tear others down to make ourselves feel better about our shortcomings. Tearing others down masks our flaws seem small in comparison. It's time to realize that God does not compare us to one another.

How can our self love affect the people we love?

What are the things we use to cover or mask the void we all have?

We buy into the lie that we are worthless and begin to tear ourselves down. We attempt to find freedom in the way God views us.
