Episode 126: When Life Gets Full... But Purpose Doesn’t Pause

Today’s episode is a real one. Life has been full lately—and if I’m being honest, it pulled my attention in a lot of different directions. But even in the middle of all of that, one thing never changed… Purpose didn’t pause. In this episode, I’m sharing what’s been on my heart about seasons, feeling stretched, and the reminder that you’re not behind—you’re right where you need to be. We talk about: • What it means to be in a “full” season • Why purpose doesn’t wait for perfect timing • Seeing your current season through a different lens If you’ve been feeling like you’ve fallen behind, lost momentum, or just trying to keep up… this episode is for you. Wherever you are right now, there is still purpose there.

Episode 125: The Story Behind Expressions of Destiny

Today’s episode is a very special one. After years of reflection, leadership conversations, and a deep desire to encourage others, I’m sharing the heart behind my new book: Expressions of Destiny: Empowering Leadership and Team Success. This book grew out of one simple but powerful realization: when leaders learn to recognize the value within people, something extraordinary begins to happen. Teams grow stronger. Trust deepens. And individuals begin to discover the purpose already placed within them. In this episode, I share the journey that led to writing the book, the message behind it, and why I believe leadership has the power to transform not only workplaces but the lives of the people within them. Expressions of Destiny is more than a book—it’s a leadership manual designed to help individuals and teams reflect, grow, and apply purpose-driven leadership principles in real life. My hope is that this message encourages leaders, employees, and organizations to see people differently and to recognize the incredible gifts and potential within those around them. The book officially launches on March 21st. Thank you for being part of this journey. Expressions of Destiny: Empowering Leadership and Team Success Available March 21 on Amazon.

Episode 124: Series Finale - The Measure of Leadership

This episode marks the closing conversation of the Foundations of Purpose-Driven Leadership series. Over the past several weeks, we have explored what happens when truth enters the room, how leaders respond under tension, the difference between agreement and alignment, the role of integrity in shaping culture, and how trust is sustained over time. In this final episode, we step back and ask the deeper question: What is the true measure of leadership? Leadership is not proven in how quickly you rise. It is revealed in how you respond. In this reflective and commissioning conversation, Jen integrates the key principles of the series and challenges leaders to choose maturity over ego, alignment over comfort, and stewardship over status. If you are committed to leading with faith, integrity, and intentionality, this episode will anchor and elevate you. This is not the end of the conversation. It is the elevation of it. Listen now and continue building leadership that can withstand truth — and sustain trust.

  4. 97

Episode 123: Sustaining Trust After Truth Is Spoken

Truth opens the door. But trust determines whether people walk through it again. In Week 6 of the Foundations of Purpose-Driven Leadership series, we explore what happens after the hard conversation ends. Because allowing truth to be spoken is only the beginning. Trust is not built in a moment — it’s sustained through consistency, integrity, and alignment over time. In this episode, Jen unpacks: • Why truth alone doesn’t guarantee trust • The subtle ways trust erodes after difficult conversations • How consistency communicates safety • What faith-centered leadership looks like when trust is tested • How to rebuild trust when it’s been strained or broken Leadership isn’t proven in how we handle truth in the moment — it’s revealed in what we do next. If you care about cultivating cultures rooted in honesty, resilience, and stewardship, this conversation will meet you right where you are. 🎙️ Listen now and continue building leadership that sustains trust long after truth is spoken.

  5. 96

Episode 122: Building Cultures That Can Handle Truth

Truth doesn’t just test individuals — it reveals the health of an entire culture. In this episode, we move beyond individual leadership behavior and into the systems, environments, and norms that shape how truth is received, processed, and honored within teams and organizations. You’ll explore: Why some workplaces silence honesty without ever saying a word How fear-based cultures train people to withhold truth The difference between “open-door policies” and emotionally safe leadership What it takes to build a culture where truth is welcomed, not punished From a faith-based leadership perspective, we examine how stewardship, humility, and trust create environments where people feel safe enough to speak honestly—and responsible enough to do so with wisdom and care. This episode is for leaders who don’t just want honest people on their team… but want to build cultures strong enough to hold the truth when it shows up. Because healthy cultures don’t avoid truth — they know how to carry it.

  6. 95

Episode 121: Integrity Is Revealed in Our Response

Integrity isn’t proven by intention—it’s revealed by response. In this episode of The Expressions of Destiny Podcast, we reflect on how integrity shows up in leadership, faith, and everyday interactions—especially when pressure is present. This conversation explores: The difference between reaction and response Why good intentions still require accountability How faith-centered leadership practices humility and self-control Why response shapes culture more than words ever could Whether you’re leading others or growing personally, this episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and respond with wisdom. Integrity is not about perfection—it’s about how we respond when it matters most.

  7. 94

Episode 120: Resonance Is Not Agreement

Not everyone needs to agree—but alignment still matters. In this episode of The Expressions of Destiny Podcast, we explore the powerful distinction between resonance and agreement, and why mature leaders learn to discern the difference. This conversation unpacks: Why agreement is not the same as alignment How resonance feels different than approval Why silence doesn’t always signal resistance How faith and discernment help leaders recognize truth without chasing validation If you’ve ever questioned your voice because not everyone agreed—or wondered whether quiet reflection meant disconnection—this episode offers clarity and reassurance. Resonance is often quieter than agreement, but it’s far more revealing.

  8. 93

Episode 119: The Difference Between Feedback and Fragility

What happens after truth enters the room? In this episode of The Expressions of Destiny Podcast, we build on last week’s conversation by exploring the critical difference between feedback and fragility—and why this distinction matters deeply in leadership, culture, and personal growth. We unpack: Why some leaders punish honesty instead of receiving it How fragile leadership confuses feedback with threat Why mature leaders respond with curiosity, not defensiveness The role of faith-based self-awareness in healthy leadership This episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and examine how we respond when honesty challenges us. Whether you’re leading a team, navigating difficult conversations, or healing from being silenced, this conversation offers clarity, validation, and encouragement. Feedback is information. Fragility is insecurity. Growth requires knowing the difference.

  9. 92

Episode 118: When Truth Enters the Room

What happens when truth enters a space that isn’t ready to receive it?   In this episode of The Expressions of Destiny Podcast, we explore why honesty often creates strong reactions—and why those reactions aren’t always about the message itself. Sometimes, they reveal what a system, culture, or environment has learned to avoid.   This conversation is an invitation to reflect on: The difference between healthy leadership and fragile leadership Why truth can feel threatening in certain spaces How integrity is revealed through our responses, not our defenses What it means to remain steady, faithful, and grounded when honesty is uncomfortable Whether you’re navigating leadership, relationships, or personal growth, this episode offers encouragement to stand in truth without shrinking, over-explaining, or losing peace. If you’ve ever felt the tension that comes when clarity enters the room, this message is for you.   Truth doesn’t need permission to exist—but leadership determines how it’s received.

  10. 91

Episode 117: Gratitude, Growth & New Beginnings

In this heartfelt return episode, Jen reflects on the power of gratitude, the beauty of new seasons, and the quiet strength found in choosing alignment over familiarity. She opens up about her recent transition from nonprofit work, sharing honest lessons about culture, calling, and courage—without blame, but with clarity and grace.   You’ll hear how gratitude has shaped her journey, what she’s been building behind the scenes, and why growth sometimes requires letting go. This episode is an invitation to pause, breathe, and trust the new thing God is doing in your life too.   Whether you're navigating change, seeking purpose, or simply needing encouragement, this message will meet you right where you are.

  11. 90

Episode 116: The Lord is My Shepherd...

In this heartfelt episode, we pause at just the first verse of Psalm 23: “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” What does it truly mean to trust God as our Shepherd? How do we rest in His provision—emotionally, spiritually, financially, and physically—especially when life feels uncertain or stretched thin? Join me for a 15-minute moment of encouragement as we slow down and remember that our Father sees, knows, and provides for every need. If you’ve been anxious, waiting, or wondering how it’s all going to work out—this message is for you. He is enough. He is with you. You shall not want.

  12. 89

Episode 115: Let Me Encourage You Today

In this special follow-up to our burnout series, I’m inviting you into a quieter moment—one filled with faith, hope, and encouragement.   If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or just tired in your soul, this episode is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to carry it all alone. God sees you, and He’s ready to meet you right where you are—with peace, rest, and direction.   I close this episode with a prayer over you, because sometimes we don’t need more noise—we need a moment of stillness and truth.   Take a deep breath, and let these words speak life back into your spirit.

  13. 88

Episode 114: Part 3 Burned Out But Not Broken - The Employees Perspective

In this heartfelt third installment of our burnout series, we’re flipping the script and listening to the voices that are too often ignored—the employees. From physical symptoms to emotional exhaustion and spiritual depletion, burnout is real, and it runs deep. In this episode, I share my personal journey through burnout, unpack the five stages that most people silently walk through, and highlight the toxic workplace phrases that fuel disconnection. But we don’t stop there—we also explore what healing looks like from a faith-filled and practical perspective. Whether you’re a leader, an employee, or somewhere in between, this conversation offers insight, encouragement, and a reminder that brokenness is not the end—it’s often the beginning of something new. Let’s shift the culture—together.

  14. 87

Episode 113: Part 2 Healing Burnout Culture—It Starts with Leadership

Burnout is more than just fatigue—it’s a signal that something deeper isn’t working. In this episode, we gently but honestly explore how burnout often begins at the top, in the systems and habits that shape workplace culture. Leaders have incredible power—not just to drive performance, but to create environments where people feel safe, supported, and seen. When that power goes unchecked, it can unintentionally lead to burnout. In this conversation, we’ll talk about: • The role leadership plays in shaping work culture • Why burnout is not a personal failure • Practical ways leaders can start building healthier, more human-centered workplaces If you’re in a leadership role—or hope to be one day—this is a compassionate invitation to reflect, reset, and lead with purpose. Because healing burnout culture starts with those brave enough to go first.

  15. 86

Episode 112: Burnout Culture Starts at the Top - Here’s How to Change It Part 1

"Burnout isn’t just an employee problem—it’s a leadership problem. In this episode, we’re breaking down how workplace burnout starts at the top and why leaders need to take responsibility for creating a healthier work culture. If you’ve ever felt overworked, exhausted, or unseen in your job, this conversation is for you. Let’s talk about the real issue behind burnout and what needs to change."

This subject is so close to my heart because I have lived season to season my entire life, learning to trust in the Lord for direction. He knows what's best for our life. 22. 79

Episode 105: Adding Value and Fear of Speaking Up

I wanted to dive into this topic of adding value but I couldn't tackle it without bringing up another well know issue. There has been this overwhelming fear of speaking up when it comes to communication channels in the workplace between employees and employers. Remember when I address employers, I always group the known titles of manager, supervisor, business owner, and/or CEO. They are all the same person when it comes to someone holding a leadership role over employees.  In this episode we will discuss the more evident reasons employees fear speaking up and why it is so important to address this issue for the benefit of seeing growth in your business and the lives of each individual.  As always, relationship is the foundation to all these things. Come join me as I share my heart on this subject.

  23. 78

Episode 104: My Pattern for Success

  24. 77

Episode 103: Life Happens and Value Matters

Life Happens and Value Matters. It's been about a month and a half since my last episode and a lot has happened. Life happens right? But what we do in those moments is what matters. I had to take some time off but I am so glad to be back with you today. Things are changing just as they always do in our life, but the seasons changing are my favorite part of Gods plan.  I wanted to share a little about what we have been going through but I also want to share a topic that is so close to my heart as well. There's a phrase we live by and it is "to give value wherever you go, but also go where you are valued." It's not an easy lesson to learn but I promise in time and through experiences, it will make sense. Come join me today as I share my heart on this subject. Be encouraged <3

  25. 76

  26. 75

Episode 101: Customer Service and the Fruits

Let's talk about customer service and what the word of God says about how we should respond. ‭‭Galatians 5:22-23 AMP‬‬ [22] But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Come listen in as I share my thoughts on this subject. I would love to hear what works for you and your business. Every business is different and we have to be open to the idea that being different is ok. We do not have to follow the many systems that are out there. Find what works for you.

It is so important as leaders and business owners to remember to give credit where credit is due. Episode 90: What Is Effective Teaching? Is There Only One Way To Do It?

What does it mean to be an effective teacher? Why is it so important to recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach is not the the best solution?  Effective teaching promotes growth in so many ways and valuable time increases productivity in any situation. Come and join me as I share both my thoughts and experiences on this subject.   My apology: In the episode I stated LMN meaning LMS (learning management system)

  38. 63

Episode 89: Encouragement For You...Yes You!

A memory popped up today and I just couldn't wait to share it with you. Be encouraged ❤️

  39. 62

Episode 88: Formal Education Vs Self-Taught...Is There A Difference?

Today we are going to talk about Formal Education Vs. Self-Taught.   This is often a very touchy subject but I certainly don't shy away from it. It seems to be a difference of opinions most of the time but the weight of the opinion is what can cause a disruption big enough to detour a persons purpose if they don't understand that everyone's path in life is different.   I respect the formally educated because I am one of them. I respect the self-taught because I am one of them too. I often times see a pattern in the way the world perceives one less than the other though and this is what causes a person to lose their way in feeling defeated and discouraged.   Let's have a little chat today as I share my heart on the subject. I would love to hear your thoughts as well. You may just be the encouragement that someone else needs.

  40. 61

Episode 87: You Are A Reflection Of Your Business...Always.

You are a reflection of your business...Always. Every moment that we are out in public, the actions and way we respond are reflections of who we are and how we operate in business. Let's chat today about how we can be an example to other businesses by responding with care and concern even in our personal time. Can't wait to encourage you! Listen Now!

  41. 60

Episode 86: Your Breakthrough Isn’t Meant For You Alone

Your breakthrough isn't meant for you alone. What a beautiful thought, right? But many people won't really understand that until after they have made it through. This truth is so beautiful because it actually gives us the confidence we often times need to press through a situation. Think of all the testimonies you have heard that seemed so good to be true and yet the person telling their story is still here to tell it.  God is great and we have the wonderful privilege of giving Him the glory for what He has done in our life. By telling your story, you are reviving someone else's faith and restoring hope in their heart.  Come and listen as I encourage you to tell your story. You never know who who's life you just might change.

  42. 59

Episode 85: Communication, Relationship, and Loyalty. What causes the employer/employee disconnect in most businesses?

Communication, Relationship, and Loyalty. What causes the employer/employee disconnect in most businesses? We have touched on this subject many times with employee retention but it is so important to revisit on a weekly, even daily basis.  How can we find this disconnect and come back to a place of retaining employees? What are the reasons companies struggle so much to find loyal employees? We are going to tackle these questions and more on todays episode. So let's get started! Hit that play button and let me encourage you today.

  43. 58

Episode 84: What Are You Doing While You Wait?

The waiting season can be tough. Our patience runs thin and we get restless, but what are you doing while you wait? What part of your purpose are you walking in? Let me encourage you today.

  44. 57

Episode 83: Dedicated To My Brother Eddie...all the things he taught me about life

This world lost an amazing person on April 19, 2023.  You never know how much time is left, but the time we take is a forever memory etched in our heart. He was the sweetest, most kind, gentle being. He always cared for and worried about everyone else before acknowledging his own pain.   Even in his last days he was thanking everyone else for the kindness and care they had for him.   Eddie, big brother...I will miss you so much but I'm grateful for our last moments together and the jokes you told til the end. We're still laughing   I know you drove your way into heaven in that rig of yours. Your heart encouraged so many people to keep pressing through even when things got tough. Your purpose was fulfilled and now your reward is in heaven.   I love you

  45. 56

Episode 82: What Is The Root Of The Problem When We Talk About Employee Retention?

When it comes to employee retention, I believe the root of the problem seldom is addressed. Companies cycle through so many employees and often times there is a way of nurturing the situation. The solution is overlooked and often times ignored.  Come join me as I share with you the simple secret (not really a secret at all).

  46. 55

    Episode 81: Are You Overwhelmed?

The word "overwhelm" was strong in my spirit this weekend and I know the Lord wanted me to encourage you today. I pray I can offer some encouragement to you today in this message.

  47. 54

Episode 80: They Said I Talk Too Much

They said I talk to much! So do you  know what I did? I'm going to share with you what I did but I also want to tell you what that statement did to me for so many years. There were some moments where I felt like there just wasn't a point to even opening my mouth. How did I over come that feeling and negativity? Come join me and allow me to share my story. I believe it will encourage you too.

  48. 53

Episode 79: Your Time Is So Precious. Do You Value Your Own Time?

Today we return back to one of my favorite books, "Secrets of the Richest Man who ever Lived" by Dr. Mike Murdock.  I wanted to share with you one of the many power packed chapters in this book. Chapter 17 talks about the value of TIME. These timeless principles are worth learning and applying to your business, ministry, and life in general.  Come and join me as we walk through each one together and I'll share a little of my experiences along the way.

  49. 52

Episode 78: Is This Your Season?

Is this your season? What does that even mean? I remember growing up and hearing this phrase as a teenager and over and over into adulthood. It always either created a feeling of expectancy or discouragement. I couldn't understand why seasons were so important to the church body, especially when being told that "It was your season!" That was a big deal to hear those words.  Seasons...what are they? Why are they so specific? Why do we look at it as moments of great abundance and blessing?  Let's chat a bit on this topic as I share the beauty of seasons and what God has spoken to my heart about the seasons we go through in life.

  50. 51

Episode 77: Business Vs Christian Business. Is There A Difference?

Let's talk Business vs Christian business. Is there a difference?  When asked the question, "What are the biggest challenges you face as a Christian entrepreneur?", I truly struggled with that question. It stumped me not because of the challenge part but more because of the specific mention of "Christian Business".  Are the challenges different in nature? I decided to tackle this question with all my thoughts presented to you, in hopes that you would share your thoughts as well.  All businesses face challenges. Are the challenges different because you are recognized as christian business.  Come and hear what I feel this means and then share your thoughts. I'm interested to hear your perspective on this topic.
