Today’s episode is a very special one. After years of reflection, leadership conversations, and a deep desire to encourage others, I’m sharing the heart behind my new book: Expressions of Destiny: Empowering Leadership and Team Success. This book grew out of one simple but powerful realization: when leaders learn to recognize the value within people, something extraordinary begins to happen. Teams grow stronger. Trust deepens. And individuals begin to discover the purpose already placed within them. This subject is so close to my heart because I have lived season to season my entire life, learning to trust in the Lord for direction. He knows what's best for our life. He created us with purpose, so why wouldn't we shift where He leads. But for some reason we fear the unknown. I wanted to dive into this topic of adding value but I couldn't tackle it without bringing up another well know issue. There has been this overwhelming fear of speaking up when it comes to communication channels in the workplace between employees and employers. Remember when I address employers, I always group the known titles of manager, supervisor, business owner, and/or CEO. They are all the same person when it comes to someone holding a leadership role over employees.  In this episode we will discuss the more evident reasons employees fear speaking up and why it is so important to address this issue for the benefit of seeing growth in your business and the lives of each individual.  As always, relationship is the foundation to all these things. Today I'm going to share with you my pattern for success. It is a pattern that we clearly see when it comes to recognizing a business that is thriving.  This pattern lines up in perfect order when you see a business that is operating in excellence. Life Happens and Value Matters. It's been about a month and a half since my last episode and a lot has happened. Life happens right? But what we do in those moments is what matters. I had to take some time off but I am so glad to be back with you today. Things are changing just as they always do in our life, but the seasons changing are my favorite part of Gods plan.  I wanted to share a little about what we have been going through but I also want to share a topic that is so close to my heart as well. There's a phrase we live by and it is "to give value wherever you go, but also go where you are valued." Have you ever felt invisible? I know I have. Many times in my life actually. I want to encourage you today that how we see ourselves sometimes is not at all how God sees us. Listen in as I share my heart on this topic. You are not invisible.

Let's talk about customer service and what the word of God says about how we should respond. ‭‭Galatians 5:22-23 AMP‬‬ [22] But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Today we are going to talk about Formal Education Vs. Self-Taught.   This is often a very touchy subject but I certainly don't shy away from it. It seems to be a difference of opinions most of the time but the weight of the opinion is what can cause a disruption big enough to detour a persons purpose if they don't understand that everyone's path in life is different.   I respect the formally educated because I am one of them. I respect the self-taught because I am one of them too. I often times see a pattern in the way the world perceives one less than the other though and this is what causes a person to lose their way in feeling defeated and discouraged.   Let's have a little chat today as I share my heart on the subject. Your breakthrough isn't meant for you alone. What a beautiful thought, right? But many people won't really understand that until after they have made it through. This truth is so beautiful because it actually gives us the confidence we often times need to press through a situation. This world lost an amazing person on April 19, 2023.  You never know how much time is left, but the time we take is a forever memory etched in our heart. He was the sweetest, most kind, gentle being. He always cared for and worried about everyone else before acknowledging his own pain.   Even in his last days he was thanking everyone else for the kindness and care they had for him.   Eddie, big brother...I will miss you so much but I'm grateful for our last moments together and the jokes you told til the end. We're still laughing   I know you drove your way into heaven in that rig of yours. Your heart encouraged so many people to keep pressing through even when things got tough. Your purpose was fulfilled and now your reward is in heaven.   I love you

When it comes to employee retention, I believe the root of the problem seldom is addressed. Companies cycle through so many employees and often times there is a way of nurturing the situation. The solution is overlooked and often times ignored.  Come join me as I share with you the simple secret (not really a secret at all). 

The word "overwhelm" was strong in my spirit this weekend and I know the Lord wanted me to encourage you today. I pray I can offer some encouragement to you today in this message.

They said I talk to much! So do you  know what I did? I'm going to share with you what I did but I also want to tell you what that statement did to me for so many years. There were some moments where I felt like there just wasn't a point to even opening my mouth. How did I over come that feeling and negativity? Come join me and allow me to share my story. Today we return back to one of my favorite books, "Secrets of the Richest Man who ever Lived" by Dr. Mike Murdock.  I wanted to share with you one of the many power packed chapters in this book. Chapter 17 talks about the value of TIME. Is this your season? What does that even mean? I remember growing up and hearing this phrase as a teenager and over and over into adulthood. It always either created a feeling of expectancy or discouragement. I couldn't understand why seasons were so important to the church body, especially when being told that "It was your season!" That was a big deal to hear those words.  Seasons...what are they? Why are they so specific? Is there a difference?  When asked the question, "What are the biggest challenges you face as a Christian entrepreneur?", I truly struggled with that question. It stumped me not because of the challenge part but more because of the specific mention of "Christian Business".  Are the challenges different in nature?
