How I Coach - An Insight Into My Clients' Experience!

In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I give you an insight into what coaching looks like with me, using a client case study as an example. This client came to me wanting to improve her confidence in the gym and become consistent with her training and nutrition in order to improve her health, performance, build muscle tissue, and make progress with fat loss.I discuss the individualised approach I took and how I helped her make significant progress with every goal she set out to achieve without tracking macros, harming her body image, or causing any relationship with food issues.I hope this gives you an insight into how you might effectively achieve your goals whilst improving your health and quality of life if you're on your own health and fitness journey. And if you're a coach, hopefully this gives you some food for thought when it comes to some alternative methods you could use to support your clients that aren't common practice - but result in better outcomes than your typical coaching service. For health & fitness coaching enquiries: www.dannibosworth.com/coachingFor mentorship enquiries: DM me on instagram (@dannibosworth) and let's get you booked in for a free catch up call to chat about how I might be able to support you!Danni x

How I Stay Consistent With Content Creation

I recently got a message from a listener that said she admires how consistent I am with the content I put out into the world, and the quality I maintain. This coach wants to start their own podcast but has struggled with consistency and marketing in the past, and would like me to share my advise/what works for me so I thought I’d record a podcast on the topic! For context over the last year alone I’ve lived in 3 different cities, contributed to caring for my nan when she was sick with cancer whilst living in a completely different city to her, dealt with grief, and had other big life changes take place.I share this because I don’t want you to think I have it easy, and I want to encourage you to stop waiting for perfect conditions - and to accept the fact you’re going to have to show up even when you don’t feel like it at times.I believe that’s one of the most important steps if you want to be able to show up consistently - to acknowledge the fact that you’re not always going to want to, and that it’s going to feel hard at times. In today's podcast I discuss that mindset and then beyond that the methods I use and structures I have in place that allow me to stay consistent with content creation of what I believe is a decent quality (although if you have a mind like mine, there's always room for improvement).Danni xIG: @DannibosworthWebsite: www.dannibosworth.comFor 1-2-1 Online Coaching or Mentorship enquiries you're more than welcome to drop me a DM! I'd love to hear from you, and I currently have a handful of spaces available to take on new clients in April.

    The Importance Of Being Adaptable

Whether you're on a health and fitness journey or you're working to build a successful career as a coach, your work capacity is going to change based on your conditionsYour conditions include stress, sleep, your diet, hormones, alcohol consumption, your environment, the support you have in place, and moreIt’s important to adjust your expectations of yourself in line with those things if you wish to avoid getting frustrated and/or burnt out, rather than constantly applying forceYou'll be so much more likely to succeed with your goals over the long-term if you learn to work with your mind and body rather than against themIn today's podcast I help you wrap your head around that, using examples and analogies from my own personal experience to help drive the message homeAs always, thank you so much for sharing your time with me. It means more than you know, and I really appreciate every single one of you that goes to the effort of sending me a message!I hope you enjoyed today's episode, and I'll look forward to sharing with you again next week,Danni xMy IG: @dannibosworthFor health and fitness coaching enquiries: www.dannibosworth.com/coachingAre you a coach interested in 1-2-1 mentorship? Wanting to live the best life you can is enough. You don't HAVE to enter a fitness competition or race.

On Saturday a friend of mine asked me what I was training for at the moment, and my initial answer was ‘nothing really’.I then corrected myself - because despite not training for a specific competition or end date, my training DOES have real purpose.I’m training for both my current and future self.I don’t know about you, but I want to be strong and capable.I want to be healthy, feel good, function well, and live a vibrant life.I love being able to show up for those in my life as the best version of me. Both the people in my personal life, and my clients. That is a big enough reason for me to show up and invest in my health and fitness consistently.Fitness competitions and races can be great! I love them, and many of my clients work towards them too.But it’s important to give your efforts meaning beyond these external goals and identify your why beyond the races or competitions you’re working towards. To recognise whilst they’re amazing when the time is right, there’s a time and a place to remove the pressure of them. And to acknowledge that YOU alone are enough of a reason to show up consistently and invest in yourself. In today’s podcast I remind you of that, and share a bit about where I’m currently at with not having a fitness competition, race, or end date that I’m working towards,Danni xInstagram: @dannibosworthCoaching Enquiries: www.dannibosworth.com

Intention Setting For Stress Free Social Occasions!

Intention setting helps us behave more consciously rather than passively. When we’re working to change our behaviour it’s going to be a conscious effort, it’s not going to happen without thought or intention.Often social occasions are where people feel like they’ve ‘slipped up’ with their goals whatever they may be, or behaved in a way they don’t want to behave. This can be down to factors such as being out of routine and the challenges that come with that, being surrounded by lots of delicious food, or the mindset we have around the occasion if we have tried to enforce a restrictive approach throughout the rest of the week or if we have an all or nothing mindset for example. It’s common when we’ve struggled with our relationship with food in the past for challenging thought processes to come up during social occasions - or for us to fall back into old patterns of behaviour such as overeating or restriction. So here are some questions you might work through prior to any social occasions you go to, that might help encourage you to behave in a way that is supportive of your goals and relationship with food, and allow you to enjoy these occasions so much more!If you'd like a written copy to work through some intention setting prior to your next social occasion or meal out, you can get yours here:https://www.canva.com/design/DAHEHonOA9o/3-zYnh9rYkSyd31IYoRgPg/view?utm_content=DAHEHonOA9o&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h1732b17159(it's free!)Or DM me the word 'intentions' on IG and I'll send it over on there,See you next week!Danni x

Why You Might Want To Delete Your Period Tracking App!

Period tracking apps CAN be incredibly helpful. I use them myself at times, and I have clients who use them too!But there are occasions where they could be doing more harm than good for you as an individual - for example if they're becoming a self fulfilling prophesy, driving up your stress levels, or if you can't stop checking them.So in today's podcast I discuss that. Talking through the facts as well as my own experience personally and that of working with 100's of clients over the last 10 years. I also discuss why it's important not to become too attached to other forms of data such as steps and scale weight, and share my own journey with moving away from meticulous with numerical data after transitioning away from bodybuilding! As always, thank you so much for sharing your time with me.For enquiries:www.dannibosworth.comIf you'd like to reach out with feedback, requests, or just to chat:@dannibosworth on Instagram

Consistency, And What We Often Get Wrong About It!

In today’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about what people often get wrong about consistency.Because consistency IS key if you wish to achieve long-term success with your health and fitness goals. But looking at it as ticking every box every day, never missing a training session, or eating a perfect diet, is going to prevent you from achieving your goals by making it more likely for you to end up feeling like you’re failing as a result of setting unrealistic expectations. As always I love hearing from you lot - so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, requests, or if you’d like any support with your own goals! For coaching enquiries ~ www.dannibosworth.comDanni x

    Social Media & Body Image

In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about all things social media and how it can impact our body image.Social media is not inherently bad! In fact, it can be used for a lot of good. But in order for the outcome to be positive we have to be intentional with the way that we use it and how much time we spend on it.So in today's podcast I talk about how you might audit your social media use to make sure you have a more positive relationship with it, and to reduce the likelihood of it having a negative impact on how you view your own body!So I’d love you to reflect on the content you choose to expose yourself to on social media and ask what effect it’s having on your relationship with yourself, others, and on how you feel on a daily basis. If you’ve been on a journey when it comes to your relationship with social media - I'd love to hear from you!Danni x

Why resistance training won't make you bulky!

I often talk to clients who want to get into resistance training, but are a little worried they might feel 'bulky' as a result of doing so.I understand this fear, especially when you might be exposed to many people on social media who do look more jacked than you might like! But here's why that doesn't need to be a concern for you, and why you SHOULD incorporate resistance training as a part of your life - because it could genuinely transform the entire trajectory of it and how you feel in your own skin.Danni x

How to achieve real transformation that goes beyond surface level!

In today’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about how we often we end up placing far too much emphasis on the specific end goal, and not enough on the process itself when it comes to health and fitness (and business too!). I talk about why you might want to shift your focus to the process of showing up for yourself consistently, the commitment to progression, and the lessons you’ll learn from that - that can be applied to other aspects of life and different goals as you grow and evolve. Because your goals will change throughout your life, you may get to a point where those you have now no longer matter to you. But you’ll always carry with you the lessons you learnt in pursuit of them. I give some examples of lessons I learnt throughout my time bodybuilding that still serve me now even though my goals and values have completely changed to emphasise the points I make here! The Power Of Asking Questions

It can be easy to shy away from asking questions, to worry about what others might think of the question itself or of you for asking it, to feel pressure to look like you know it all and view the admission that you don’t as a weakness I’ve been there But it’s not It’s a strength So in today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about the importance of leaning into the discomfort of being vulnerable enough to ask questions, hold your hands up and admit when you don't know the answer to something, and being willing to learn from others. Thank you so much for listening as always 🫶🏻 I’d LOVE to hear from you whether this is your first listen or you’ve been here for years, so please drop me a message on instagram if you have any questions, requests, or feedback. Why trying to do everything at once is stopping you from achieving your goals

In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about one of the most common reasons I see people not achieving their goals at the moment - trying to do too much at once. This is relevant in fitness but also business, and as an example in fitness it could look like trying to lose body fat at the same time as setting a demanding performance goal such as running a half marathon. I discuss why we're drawn to doing so, why it's holding us back, and how we can improve our ability to achieve our goals moving forwards! I’d LOVE to hear from you whether this is your first listen or you’ve been here for years, so please drop me a message on instagram if you have any questions, requests, or feedback.
