Happy Monday!   We've finally made it to July, and as usual that means the gaming news slows down. Fortunately we scrapped the deepest pits of the internet and were able to find some PlayStation news to discuss. Firstly Cory Barlog and the rest of the crew at Sony Santa Monica, kindly ask for everyone to reframe from sending any more dick pics! A new picture emerges online of the PSVR2, and it looks simplistic, in a good way. That's not our only reveal, Naughty Dog has also finally released a trailer for The Last of Us Part I, a remake of the not to old prequel to the Last of Us Part II.  Capcom announced its own showcase, which is geared to stream right as this podcast goes live on Monday. Happy Monday!   Recently leaked images are floating around the net and the leaker claims they are from the rumored Silent Hill reboot, can't be sure if they are real, but they are a little convincing to say the least. Capcom, PlayStation, and many others are having great financial success, Seems like multiple companies will invest even more into their future titles. Jim Ryan is now on the hot seat, as his last company email wasn't received to well. Lastly it looks like Microsoft wont be having any happy holidays this year, as they have announced two major delays for titles that will move them into the next year. Happy Monday!   Square Enix has sold off three of its major studios, in an effort to try to stop more financial losses. Will it be enough to save the company though? As usual we have some thoughts about that. Sony makes more serious investments towards their future with live service games. Sadly though the news came in like a faint breeze, and managed to not generate any hype around the reveal. Happy Monday!   Rumored subscription service "Spartacus" might finally be unveiled this week, and according to one site at least, we might finally get one highly requested feature included in the highest paid tier. GTA wants you to pay monthly for their online mode. Supermassive Games shows off their newest IP with a fancy brand new reveal trailer. Konami is making many small moves in the back round and one of the most recent moves seems to be renewing their trademark for Silent Hill, what could it mean? Also PlayStation had another state of play, but this time the spotlight was for one game. That game being non other than the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy game from WB games. We ask the question, if the new Duel sense controllers are more than just a simple color change. God of War is without a doubt a popular franchise currently, so i guess its's not to surprising to hear this past week that Sony intends to turn it into a T.V. show, possibly in cooperation with Amazon. Battlefield 2042 now has less active players than Battlefield 4, which released back on the PS3 nine years prior. Grand Theft Auto 5 will not give previous adopters a free upgrade to their long awaited PS5 version, but worry not, it sounds like Capcom wont make the same mistake. Happy Monday!   Another Monday has come and with it we have some more news, more specifically more PSVR 2 news.  PlayStation has released a new video showcasing the new VR unit and the amazing specs it will have at launch later this year. With our VR news, we also learned about a new AAA Horizon VR game that will be built from the ground up for the new PSVR2. We learned more about the Bully sequel that was rumored to be in production, and sadly is sounds like its no longer happening. This week we discuss the many news drops on the PS5's performance so far this year, and it looks like the new soy console has finally taking the lead for console sales last month. Impressive considering the stock shortages for the PS5 that are still plaguing consumers this year. Activision takes another step towards ending any nostalgia I had left from my childhood. Resident Evil Village reaches a sales milestone faster than almost all other games in the series. Call of Duty Vanguard will have a smaller files size, but its still not good enough in our opinion.
