The Kerri Edelman Show Present MAD IN THE KITCHEN Chef Madeleine Smithberg
As American went into coronavirus lockdown, Madeleine seized the stuck-at-home opportunity and cooked up the idea for a hilariously delicious YouTube cooking show, MAD IN THE KITCHEN – which instantly became must-watch TV for the quarantined cook! Foodies and friends, old and new, fell in love with Madeleine’s offbeat, silly approach to cooking. So much so, she is now a regular guest on several morning television shows, including The TODAY SHOW with Hoda and Jenna. Madeleine’s cooking aspirations are no flash in the pan. It’s the result of a good long simmer of Madeleine’s natural talent for creating stick-to-your-tickled-ribs savory television. Before The Daily Show, she spent six years at Late Night with David Letterman producing cooking segments with famous kitchen eccentrics Julia Child, Wolfgang Puck, and everyday eccentrics like the lovable oddball baker from Boise, Bev Tanner, who Madeleine plucked from obscurity. As a former TV producer, Madeleine knows how to make good TV. As MAD IN THE KITCHEN keeps growing and expanding, her videos continue to impress, not only on YouTube, but also on Instagram (Reels) as well as quick hits on TikTok and Stories (her secret stuffing recipe became a viral hit!). Madeleine has also begun offering virtual cooking classes and events specializing in corporate team building, and is launching a bi-weekly instructional (and entertaining) Saturday night live-stream to engage with budding cooks in real time. The most important ingredient to the success of MAD IN THE KITCHEN is Madeleine herself, serving heaping portions of warm laughter and super silly enthusiasm for truly delectable and wholly original dishes. Madeleine Smithberg is now self-producing the most lovable oddball eccentric chef yet – herself! For more information, visit madinthekitchen.com and youtube.com/madinthekitchen

The Maryland-based rock band ANY GIVEN SIN spent much of 2019 turning heads with the release of their single, "Dynamite," which quickly became the #1 most spun song on SiriusXM's Octane. The band soon solidified its position on the channel, landing the coveted 'Accelerator Artist' title, and blazing past some of the biggest names in Rock on their weekly 'BIG UNS Countdown', becoming the #2 Most-Requested song on the channel and landed them at #29 of SiriusXM Octane's Top 100 Year end countdown. The band quickly followed that up with the release of their next single "Another Life," which in turn also became another #1 most spun song on SiriusXM Octane. Any Given Sin has since just recently released their new single "Insidious" in the midst of the Covid- 19 pandemic. Although given the pandemic at hand the band never stopped moving forward and had to become more creative in the filming of the video for "Insidious." With social distancing a huge hurdle to overcome, they forged their way by each member being filmed separately in the shadow's of their images and brought together to create the video which was done with the magic of videographer Tom Flynn. The band has been working with some heavy-hitters in the Rock world including Trevor Kustiak (Evans Blue), John Moyer (Disturbed), and most recently, Chris Dawson (SAUL, Seasons After), who produced the single, "Another Life" and "Insidious." Every once in a while, a singer comes along that single-handedly re-sets the bar for what a Rock vocalist should be. Someone with such raw emotion and power it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up - ANY GIVEN SIN's Vic Richie is that singer. Complete with epic, crunchy guitar riffs and put-a-hole-in-your-soul, massive drums, this is a true-blue American rock band with both authenticity - and POWER.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Modern Hard Rock Band Farewell To Fear
Farewell to Fear was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden. The band revisits that era with big rock riffs, big choruses, and big anthems for a new generation of mainstream rockers. With their first full-length album, New Blood, co-produced with Brett Hestla (Dark New Day & Creed), the group generated an incredible three singles on Sirius XM’s Octane channel, an unheard of feat for an unknown band. This also landed them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart and #8 on iTunes Rock chart. Their debut also earned them direct support from Howard Stern, including the rarest of moments on Stern’s show, airing an entire song as opposed to the normal 20-second snippet he usually shares. Due to this enormous amount of support, the track “Diamonds” reached a most impressive 1 million streams on Spotify. Inspired by the recording process of their most recent EP, Legacy, the band started writing and recording relentlessly, ultimately allowing them to seamlessly merge their skills and styles together to create heavy rock songs that deliver a strong punch to the gut while staying melodic and delivering impactful lyrics, hitting all ranges and octaves. Their latest album,Voices, is available via Pavement Entertainment, which was co-produced with Damien Starkey (Burn Season & Puddle of Mudd). Farewell to Fear's highly anticipated new single, “Underneath My Skin,” sends a powerful sucker-punch with its anthem of Love and Obsession. It's an emotional gut wrenching song that will inspire the devil within.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Rock Band Cavo
Four years is not that long, relatively speaking. A ‘blip on the radar’ over a lifetime. But in the case of St. Louis’ Cavo, four years speaks to more of an eternity than some may realize. It doesn’t take much in this day and age for a band to break up. It takes a lot more effort to stay together, not to mention sustaining the want that got them together in the first place. So imagine a band, completely lost and void of the will to keep moving forward. In that reality, four years can seem like forever. And that’s where Cavo’s story really picks up. As vocalist Casey Walker likes to tell it, at the time “there just wasn’t anything left to give.” They had tried everything. ‘More guitars,’ ‘scream it don’t sing it,’ ‘pick up the pace,’ etc, etc. It didn’t work. Not for Cavo. No one believed it anyway. So they decided to stop. It was time to put this aside. And they did. But then something happened a while later. The want slowly started creeping back in. Not quickly, but little by little, over time. But the want this time was different. It didn’t feel the same. Something had changed. For once, it wasn’t about what someone else wanted. It was only about the four of them and what they wanted. No label, no producer, no agent, no manager, no one but them. And it felt right. So, they decided to try again, but this time, their way. Over 50 songs. A sound that truly reflected who they are as musicians. Not what everyone else told them they were supposed to be. No outsiders pushing for ‘more of this’ or ‘less of that.’ It was actually so much easier than they thought it would be. Cutting it down to just 12 songs was the hard part. They decided to call it “Bridges,” because they felt like they had crossed over to someplace new. A place where Cavo could just…be.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Rock Band Messer
The band's cutting edge modern rock sound was born through serendipitous connections in the thriving Deep Ellum music scene of Dallas, an area that has given rise to iconic Hard Rock and Metal bands like Pantera, Drowning Pool, Hell Yeah, and King's X. The band grew their fan base locally, and began to branch out regionally and nationally, opening for notable bands such as Sick Puppies, Candlebox, Hinder, Vince Neil, Black Stone Cherry, Lynch Mob, Drowning Pool, Local H, Trapt, Metallica, Dokken, Scott Stapp Of Creed, Avenged Sevenfold, and Buck Cherry. It was on one of these tours that the band caught the attention of Los Angeles based writer/producer, Chad Gendason. The band felt an immediate comradery with Chad and a lasting bond was made. Messer started writing with Chad, and their first collaboration became "Simple Man". Fan favorite "Whiskey" soon followed and the songs started to flow into what would eventually become their self-titled debut album "Messer", which will be released on 4/20/18 on Maddpants Records. The album was mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed) and mastered by Tom Baker (Papa Roach, David Bowie, Motley Crue). The Kerri Edelman Show presents Rock Band Social Void
Social Void might best be described as a ‘lyrical’ alternative rock band fronted by brothers Chip Cooley (vocals, guitar) and Brent Cooley (bass, keys). Their atmospheric debut album, Propeller, chronicles a deeply personal and prolonged time of isolation, in which Chip confronts his past, present, and future, and faces the consequences of disconnecting for too long. Playing guitar from the age of four, and being raised by a vocal coach, he's been ingrained with music as a means of expressing feelings that escape mere words, and he layers his guitar as added textures and contrasting voices in each track. His brother, Brent, also singing and playing piano from an early age, has always had a natural ability to find harmony and expound upon these raw expressions. And with his inclination for maths and general knack for musical theory, he provides a technical balance and structure. Their songs are self-recorded, self-produced, and use every step of the process to serve the greater work. In former iterations of the band, they have become veterans of live performance in historic Charleston and have added Charles Holliday (drums), Elijah Kuzia (synth), and Quell Graham (guitar) for touring.Be sure to pick up a copy of their amazing album 'Propeller!'

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Hard Rock/Metal Band Black Water Rising
BLACK WATER RISING (BWR) is a collection of soul baring, angst ridden, riff heavy material that is proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock song writing. Giant guitar driven monster riffs served up on a bed of crushing grooves with soaring melodic vocals and big hooks. Basically, NO FRILLS RIFF ROCK! Lyrically the message is socially and politically driven by the dark times we live in. With darkness seemingly growing by the day, BLACK WATER RISING is a name that fits this band like a glove. Their debut album released in 2010 would achieve the #1 slot on Amazon.com’s Rock Chart upon release. BWR received heavy airplay on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio's Octane channel for the singles "Brother Go On" and "No Halos." The album reached the #6 slot on the Top 20 airplay chart for the channel and "Brother Go On" also cracked the top 40 on the Media Base Active Rock Radio Chart. BWR has played shows and toured with Hellyeah, Kill Devil Hill, King's X, Monster Magnet & Ace Frehley. Their tour schedule also brought them to the 2010 South By Southwest Festival in Austin, TX performing at High Times Magazine's Doobie Awards show where BWR won the 2010 High Times Doobie Award for “Best Rock/Alternative Artist,” beating out such tough and respected competition as Staind, Eagles of Death Metal, The Mars Volta and Danko Jones. BWR followed up the critically acclaimed self-titled debut with their sophomore effort, Pissed And Driven released in 2013. The first offering from Pissed and Driven, "Show No Mercy" was #5 most added on the CMJ Loud Rock Chart, top 10 at many college radio stations and in heavy rotation at Nationally Syndicated Cable channel Music Choice reaching #1 on their Metal Chart.
