Luke 19:1-10 A despised tax collector climbs a tree just to catch a glimpse of Jesus — and Jesus stops, looks up, and calls him by name. In one encounter, everything changes. Join us as we explore what it means when Jesus says, "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10)

Luke 18: 31-43 Jesus pulls the Twelve aside to reveal what's coming — suffering, mockery, death, and resurrection — yet they cannot grasp what He's saying. Then, just outside Jericho, a blind beggar hears the crowd and cries out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" While others try to silence him, Jesus stops. He restores the man's sight, and the crowds erupt in praise.

Luke 18:18-30 A wealthy ruler asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus reminds him of the commandments — he claims to have kept them all. Jesus then delivers the gut-punch: "Sell everything you have, give to the poor, and follow Me." The man walks away grieving, because he was very rich.

Luke 18: 1-17In this passage, Jesus teaches His disciples through powerful parables and a tender moment with children. He calls us to pray with persistence and never give up (vv. 1–8), warns against self-righteous pride through the contrast of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector (vv. 9–14), and reminds us that the Kingdom of God belongs to those who come with humble, childlike faith (vv. 15–17).

Luke 17: 20-37The Pharisees ask Jesus when the kingdom of God is coming, and He responds that it will not come with visible signs or a specific location, for the kingdom of God is already in their midst. He then warns His disciples that days are coming when they will long to see the Son of Man but will not, cautioning them not to chase after those who claim to know where He is. Jesus compares His coming to lightning that flashes across the sky — sudden and unmistakable.

Luke 17:1-19Jesus teaches His disciples about the serious consequences of causing others to stumble in faith, the importance of forgiving a repentant brother repeatedly, and the power of even small faith — comparing it to a mustard seed capable of uprooting a mulberry tree. He then reminds them that serving God is simply their duty, not grounds for special praise.

Luke 16: 19-31Jesus tells of a rich man who lived in luxury and a poor man named Lazarus who suffered at his gate — and how death reversed everything. After both died, the rich man found himself in torment while Lazarus rested in comfort with Abraham. A powerful reminder that our choices in this life have eternal consequences.

Luke 16:1-18Followers of Christ must be faithful and wise stewards of what God entrusts to them. Jesus warns that we cannot serve both God and wealth, and calls His disciples to live with integrity, recognizing God’s authority over our possessions, our hearts, and our relationships

Luke 14:1-14Jesus teaches that compassion and mercy are more important than religious appearances, healing on the Sabbath and challenging prideful attitudes. He calls His followers to walk in humility and practice selfless hospitality, reminding them that true reward comes from God rather than human recognition

Luke 13:18-35Luke 13, Jesus teaches about the Kingdom of God through parables and confronts hard questions about salvation. He compares God's Kingdom to a mustard seed and leaven, illustrating how it grows from small beginnings into something transformative.

Luke 13:1-17Jesus teaches that tragedy is not a measure of personal sin, but a call for everyone to repent and turn to God. Through the parable of the barren fig tree and the healing of a woman bound for eighteen years on the Sabbath, Jesus reveals God’s patience, mercy, and authority—exposing religious hypocrisy and bringing joy to those who witness God’s redemptive power.

Luke 12: 35-48Jesus calls His followers to live alert, faithful, and ready for His return. Using parables of watchful servants and a faithful steward, He teaches that blessing comes to those who remain obedient and diligent while the master is away. Those given greater responsibility will be held to a higher standard, and neglect or abuse of that trust brings judgment. This passage emphasizes readiness, faithfulness, and accountability before God.

Luke 12:13-34"Jesus warns against greed and teaches that life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. Through the parable of the rich fool, He exposes the danger of storing up earthly wealth while neglecting one’s relationship with God. Jesus then calls His disciples to trust God’s provision, reminding them that the Father cares for their needs just as He cares for the birds and the flowers. Instead of anxiety and material pursuit, believers are urged to seek God’s kingdom, store up treasures in heaven, and live with generous, watchful hearts—because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Luke 12:1-12"Jesus warns the crowd against hypocrisy, urging His followers to live truthfully because nothing hidden will remain concealed. He teaches them to fear God rather than people, assuring that God values them deeply—even numbering their hairs. Jesus declares that those who confess Him before others will be acknowledged before God, but those who deny Him will face denial. He also cautions against blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Finally, Jesus encourages His disciples not to worry about what to say when they face opposition, as the Holy Spirit will give them the words they need."
