The Naïve Perspective

I know it hurts friend, but let's try and look at that rejection in a different light. The doors that were closed pushed you towards the new doors you needed to step through. There is so much power in a rejection and hopefully this helps to reframe the situation for you.

Raise your hand if you've been feeling bleeehhh lately. I know I have, and I think it's for a divine reason. Honestly, I'm not sure what's the next form of expression I will take but I know whatever it is it will be authentically me and in alignment with His will. So here's a few words of encouragement to get you through this season of bleeehhh. Hope it helps!

I know friend, we all want things to go how we envision, but God doesn't work that way. His ways are not our own and MOST times we have to just let go and let Him work. Now this isn't an excuse to be lazy and complacent, but instead understand that if it's in His will it will come in His timing, and not a second, month, or year sooner.

We may have some grand requests for the Lord but don't be afraid to share those small requests with Him too. He will come through for you and meet you where you're at every time. Send out the prayer, no matter how big or small it is.

This is urgent friends and straight from the man upstairs himself. I hope you take heed of the warning. There's still but it is running out so do what you gotta do to get in God's good graces before it's too late.

I know this may come as a surprise friends, but those gifts and talents that you were blessed with are actually not for you. That means holding them inside you or not sharing them out of fear or doubt is very harmful and could be holding someone else back on their journey. We are all connected and have a duty to one another so whether you like it or not you have to get it out. All of it.

If no one's told you lately, you are worthy, friend. However, that doesn't mean you will also feel confident in everything you do. Those are two different things, and understanding that they are not directly correlated allows you to get to the root and see the real issues you might have.

I've had my fair share of offers come my way friend, and what I'm realizing is that every opportunity that comes my way is not meant to be pursued, and sometimes the least monetary enticing offering is the one I actually need to dive into. So think about what you've been entertaining lately because you think it's giving you the satisfaction you want or getting you closer to your goals. When you recenter God in the equation, is it actually worth it?

Take that step forward friend, I promise you will be okay. Sometimes it may feel like there are too many options and you may feel doomed to make the wrong decision but that's not how it works. You are free to choose, and also to ensure your choice is the right one. Remember who will always be in your corner and He won't let you down. So move with confidence friend, because this stagnant position is not serving you.

Slight rant, slight message, but ultimately a space for the realization that everything we are waiting for lies in the seeds that have already been placed in us. Are you willing to plant those seeds, and be patient friend?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Don't be afraid to let your light shine friend. Now is the time for you to own your true gifts and share them with your community. You never know how you will impact someone else's life just by being authentically you.

What are your New Year resolutions? May I suggest that you include a year with a clear mind to your list. I used to smoke to escape my reality and suppress my emotions, but with denial comes paranoia and after a while, I didn't recognize who I was and realized I was very dependent on substances to make it through the day. If this sounds relatable then I recommend taking a break, friend. Put down the devil's lettuce for a while and see how you feel :)

Piggybacking off our previous episode, What Are You Feeding Your Spirit? This time we look into the influence of visual media. I accidentally allowed a demonic spirit access to me and my home, and I want to share how you can spiritually protect yourself from attacks like this.

This one might be tough, but I promise it will help you in the end. You don't need all the extras for support, peace, and protection. It only gives you false hope in the end and temporary solutions. I learned that all I needed was a relationship with the Most High and I knew I could get through anything. So, what have you been holding on to a little too hard?

I encourage you to be careful about what you are feeding your spirit because what you take in spiritually will start too manifest itself around you physically.

When God is trying to speak to you He will put in scenarios to show you exactly what he wants to teach you. This is my recount of a situation that taught me how we are on His divine timing.
