If not, what do you think will happen? 2) Starving Cuba Into Submission?:  Trump just announced new secondary tariffs on any country daring to sell oil to Cuba.  This almost amounts to an oil embargo on Cuba.  What does Trump hope to achieve by this move?  Is he justified in doing this? Could Russia become an alternative supplier of oil to Cuba? 3) End of the START Treaty?:  The New START Treaty  signed in 2010 between US and Russia, and  limiting their total number of nuclear weapons,  ends tomorrow, February 5th.  What are the possible ramifications of the treaty ending?  What are the prospects for another START Treaty being signed?  4) The Magnanimous Trump? "Grossmutige" is a German word from the Latin roots magnus ("great") and animus ("soul," "mind," or "spirit"). On today's episode:1)  Will Trump Attack Iran Soon?:  Trump has sent what he called an 'armada' of ships towards Iran, which just arrived under CENTCOM's command.  Is this part of a pressure campaign with Iran, or does he seek regime change?  2) Trump Board of Peace in Gaza?  :  While at DAVOS World Economic Forum in Switzerland, Trump announced a new Board of Peace (BOP).  He invited almost sixty world leaders to join his new board, with Trump 'appointed' as Chairman for life.   What will the board do? 3) Canada's Carney Clash:  Trump is mad at Canadian PM Carney,  who at recent  DAVOS summit criticized Trump for 'rupturing the international system of order'.  Carney said Trump's declaring a Don-roe Doctrine on Western Hemisphere, kidnapping Venezuela's President Maduro, and threatening to take Greenland by military force, is overthrowing a rules-based international order.  Trump just responded by threatening  100% tariffs on all Canadian goods to America if Carney signs a trade deal with China.  What is going on? Support the show

Are there other reasons?  Europe strongly opposes Trump annexing land from another NATO member state. 2)  Is Trump's New "Don-roe Doctrine" of Western Hemisphere Domination Dangerous?:  Trump announced a new National Security Strategy document saying that Western Hemisphere would be controlled by USA.  US military actions in Venezuela and  threats to Cuba have followed.  But doesn't this policy allow for other big states, like China and Russia, to have their own 'spheres of influence' in their own neighborhoods? 1) US Military Abducts Venezuela President Maduro  And Trump Claims He Will 'Run' Venezuela:  Last weekend,  US special operations command ---Delta Force--- grabbing Venezuela's President Maduro, putting him in a helicopter and flying him to a US navy ship, then on to US.  He was arraigned this Monday in US Federal Court on charges of narco -terrorism and  trafficking cocaine.  Trump also announced he will 'run' Venezuela until a suitable replacement for Maduro can be found, and will operate it's oil fields. What do you think of all this?  2)  Trump met with Bibi Netanyahu at Mar a Lago:  Last week, Trump met for a fifth time this year with Israeli PM Netanyahu.  They were supposed to discuss  approaching Phase Two of Trump's Peace Plan for Gaza.  But their focus shifted to Iran---that it might restart nuclear weapons development or build more long range missiles.  Trump also threatened Iran leaders if they crack down on protestors in Iran,  saying he would 'protect them'.  What is going on? 3) Ukraine -Russia Peace Plan:  Trump met with Pres. Zelensky in Mar a Lago last weekend , to review final details of a peace plan being offered to Putin.  Has the plan now been finalized, and if so, what will Putin do? Support the show

Earlier this year,  Miller empowered the HSC to become an 'independent entity', a departure from previous administrations, where it was considered part of  the National Security Council (NSC.)  What do you think of this?    2)  Is Vlad Putin Engaged In A ''Colonial War'' Against Ukraine?:  Putin says he wants to 'free Ukraine' from the  evil and undemocratic ' Nazi dictatorship' of President  Zelensky.  He  says Russia was threatened by Ukraine.    But is Putin really engaged in a 'colonial war'  to make Ukraine a Russian colony?  If so, will he refuse Trump's Peace Plan for Ukraine? 3)  Is Zelensky the Legitimate President of Ukraine?
