Episode 225 - In this episode of The Salty Yak Outdoors Podcast I give you all the information about our upcoming Matagorda Island Kayak Fishing/Camping Trip!  We talk what the trip is about, the gear you need (more is less) and what to expect if you are coming on the trip.

Episode 224 - As of this date I have been on 14 out of state hunts...11 of those have been "unsuccessful".  In this podcast I take a hard look at why I did not fill a tag on these hunts.  I also talk about the few hunts that went right and hopefully share with you what I have learned from all of these trips!  I would love to hear what you have learned from your hunts!

EP 223 - Its that time!!!  The whitebass are heading up in the creeks!!!  Listen to me and Roger talk about our kayak fishing trip we just returned from!  4 of us headed to an "undisclosed public lake" and launched our kayaks in the chilly morning air.  The air may have been cold but the fishing was hot!  Its time to knock the dust off the kayak and go fishing!

EP 218 - In this episode of The Salty Yak Outdoors Podcast we meet the "Moore Boys".  Father, Jonathan, and his sons JJ and KJ.  We talk about how God put us together others and what that has lead too.  Spiritual guidance for me and my team and the "Lord's Chicken" LOL.  The opportunity to go deer hunting for them.  But it is so much more than that.  The friendships that have come have been such a blessing.  I do not beleive in coincidences.  God has a plan and who we encounter in our lives is part of that plan.  I hope you enjoy the podcast!  

Episode 217 - I have done a few Colorado 4th season elk hunts over the past few years, but this one took the cake!  We had a great time, found elk and were able to fill one of the three elk tags.  Tune in and hear all about this hilarious hunting trip!  

EP 216 - In this episode of The Salty Yak Outdoors Podcast we walk down the road of me choosing a new cartridge for deer hunting here in Texas.  I had a few of things I wanted out of this new deer rifle, 1 - needed to be a 22 caliber so I could use my 22 caliber suppressor 2 - youth friendly 3 - good on deer sized game out to 150 yards.  There now there are alot of calibers out there that would do that, but here is how I came to land on the 22 ARC in an Ruger American rifle.  Hope ya'll enjoy the podcast!
