The Trail: Encounters

In Episode 10, we explored the question, “Where do we look when we see injustice around us?” Given the negative bias that we often find in the news and social media, this question is becoming increasingly relevant each day. In Episode 11, we are taking the next step in this discussion as we investigate a question that gets asked quite often, maybe more than we would like to admit. What do we do when God seems silent? We are not saying that God is necessarily silent. Perhaps we are not taking the time to truly listen. But, nevertheless, from our point of view, it might feel that way. And when it does, what is our next step?

With the overwhelming amount of negative news on social media, global conflicts, and national uncertainties, questions about the end of the world are on the rise. However, this is not a new phenomenon. In fact, these questions have often come in cycles over the centuries. In Episode 9 of The Trail: Encounters, we want to take a step back and ask a more fundamental question: Why? What motives lie behind these end-of-the-world discussions and the fear they create?The Trail: Encounters is designed to be a journey that we want to take with you.
