James and Roman consider the importance of church attendance. Can someone really grow in their faith fully without a "church" group? Is the way "church" is done now the best it can be? The ways in which James and Roman were raised definitely effect how they have come their conclusions on church attendance.

James and Roman talk about how the church has hurt people and caused them to leave. Since Roman grew up in the church, he has experienced a fair amount of hurt from people and leaders within the church. Both men discuss the willingness to press on through the struggle to see God's goodness in the pain.

James and Roman dive into their pasts with alcohol consumption. Their upbringing brought them to drink for different reasons. They now hold similar beliefs on the issue, even though growing up, they were taught differently.

In an ironic twist, Roman, who grew up in the church, does not listen to Christian music. However, James, who did not grow up in the church listens to it regularly. They explain why and why not in this episode.

The pilot episode. Roman and James introduce themselves and share a little bit of their history. They dive into Christianity in today's times. We get to see how they were raised gives each of them a unique perspective.
