This week on Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D, we celebrate Mother’s Day by discussing one of the wildest stories in the entire Bible — a prophetess, a hesitant warrior, a woman with a tent spike, and a guy who really should’ve been more suspicious of warm milk and hospitality. Why did Deborah have to lead when Barak wouldn’t? Why are strong women often admired and criticized at the same time? Why do so many mothers feel like they’re carrying entire families on their backs while grown men stand around like decorative throw pillows?Somewhere between the jokes, the sarcasm, and Pastor-D handing out stakes to women in church “for demonstration purposes,” the conversation turns serious:Have men become spiritually passive? Why do women often sense danger before everyone else? What does motherly courage actually look like in a family? And why does God so often choose overlooked people to confront darkness? This episode is funny, uncomfortable, honest, and surprisingly personal. Also…someone probably should’ve stopped Pastor-D before he started explaining how to properly use a tent stake.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? This week, we’re not exactly playing it safe. We'll explore whether turning the other cheek actually shows strength…or is it just getting walked on? Have Christians misunderstood this scripture for centuries? We also wade into some light, totally non-controversial topics—like the Pope, politics, blasphemy, and why Jesus seems to call us to do the exact opposite of what feels natural. We also dig into what this looks like in real life: marriage, work, raising kids, dealing with difficult people, and figuring out where forgiveness ends and enabling begins (because yeah… that line can get blurry fast).Plus, we connect it all to one of the wildest stories in the Bible—Elisha feeding his enemies instead of fighting them—and ask the uncomfortable question: What if God sees our enemies completely differently than we do?If you’ve ever wondered:“Am I supposed to just take it?”“Where’s the line between grace and being a pushover?”“Can you be bold without being a jerk?”…then this one’s for you.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Good morning and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor...Dave? Please join us as Pastor Dave sits in for Pastor D this week. What starts as a casual check-in—family, kids, SEC football, and old satellite TV—takes a hard turn into some uncomfortable territory: a president posing as Jesus, a Pride festival at the Dead Sea, and a soldier in trouble who made $400K betting on a mission he knew was coming… while Congress does the same thing and walks free. But somewhere between Harry Caray, insider trading, and Jelly Roll, the conversation shifts—what does it actually mean to be passionate about something that matters? Not loud. Not emotional. Not performative. Real. The kind of passion that pushes through a crowd… or keeps going when nothing seems to be working. And that’s where it gets personal. Is your faith real—or just routine?Does intent matter more than action? And if desperation is what drives people to God… do we really want it?We don't have ALL the answers, but we sure made the questions harder to ignore.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? There’s a version of Christianity that feels safe—polished, agreeable, and careful not to ruffle feathers. And then there’s the version we see in Scripture… the kind that gets people thrown in prison.Today, we’re talking about the difference.John the Baptist didn’t hedge his words. He didn’t soften truth to protect his reputation. He called things what they were—boldly, publicly, and without apology. And it cost him everything. So the question we’re asking is one most people don’t want to touch: what happened to that kind of conviction?Have we traded courage for comfort? Truth for approval? And if we haven’t…why are so many of us afraid to say what we actually believe? We’re going to get into all of it—why Christians are often seen as hypocrites, how far is too far when calling out darkness, and what it really means to take every thought captive in a culture that’s constantly trying to reshape what you think. And before we’re done, we’re going to wrestle with one uncomfortable idea:If John the Baptist showed up today… would we even be on his side?Let’s get into it.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Terrifyingly Wonderful

Good morning and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!What happens when an Easter message doesn’t stay “safe”…and instead turns into a full-on deep dive into snakes on fire, the terrifying side of Jesus, and the real weight of what happened on the cross? In this episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D, Joe and Pastor-D unpack a sermon that refuses to stay surface-level. From the mystery of when our sins were actually paid for, to what Jesus was doing in those three days before the resurrection, to the tension between God’s love and His wrath—nothing is off the table. They also tackle some tough, honest questions:Has our culture lost its fear of God? Why do we treat sin like it’s no big deal? And is it possible to sit in church, hear the truth, and still walk away unchanged? If you’ve ever wrestled with what Easter really means—or wondered if there’s more to the story than what you’ve always heard—this conversation will challenge you, stretch you, and maybe even shake you a little. So whether you’re all-in on faith, unsure about any of it, or just here for a good story—you’re invited into this conversation. This might be the one that changes everything.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Terrifyingly Wonderful

In this episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D, we kick things off with a couple of things in the news recently and a follow-up conversation involving Donald Trump and Franklin Graham. From there, we transition into a powerful discussion centered around this week’s sermon.Pastor D walks us through Daniel 7:9–10 and the vivid picture of God’s throne—highlighting the overwhelming sense of awe, holiness, and reverence that comes with truly seeing God for who He is. We talk about whether we’ve become too casual with the word “holy,” and what it really means when Scripture describes God in such powerful, fear-invoking ways.Moving into Revelation, we explore John’s reaction to encountering Jesus—falling down as if dead—and compare that to real-life moments of experiencing God’s presence. This leads into a deeper conversation about reverence in prayer, physical posture, and why many believers today approach God so casually despite having full access to Him.We also wrestle with the balance between intimacy and reverence in our relationship with God, and how Scripture presents Jesus not only as Savior and friend, but also as King, judge, and conqueror. Finally, we discuss what it actually looks like to “be holy” in everyday life and whether this sermon series is meant to challenge and reshape our perception of Jesus into something far more powerful and awe-inspiring.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Terrifying Wonderful

Good morning and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!In this episode, we'll take a quick look at current events and ask a tough question about conflict and leadership before diving into a powerful conversation about the cross. We explore how Jesus could say, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do,” in the middle of extreme suffering—and how we might respond in that same situation. We talk about the thief on the cross and the risk of waiting too long to turn to God, why Jesus made sure His mother was cared for even while dying, and what He meant when He cried out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”We also unpack the humanity of Jesus in “I thirst,” what was truly finished when He said, “It is finished,” and how “into your hands I commit my spirit” models complete trust in God. We address the common question of why Jesus didn’t save Himself—and how the cross wasn’t a loss, but a victory. Finally, we wrestle with the tension of the cross itself: an image of brutal suffering and disturbing violence, yet also one of forgiveness, grace, hope, and incredible power—and why God would choose such a moment to demonstrate His love for us.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Terrifyingly Wonderful

Good morning and welcome back to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! This week we’re unpacking Sunday’s message from Coast Life Church, titled “Terrifyingly Wonderful.”In this episode, Pastor D tells us about what it really means to be terrified of how much God hates sin. We'll explore some of the terrifying things he has done here on Earth and how we should approach our Christianity with that in mind. He'll also discuss what it means to believe—not just believing in the unknown, but trusting God Himself. We dig into what faith looks like in everyday life and why belief isn’t meant to stay stuck in our heads. Then we jump into the idea of living a reproducible life—a life that actually shows others what following Jesus looks like. Because faith that stays private rarely multiplies. Finally, we tackle the mission Jesus gave us: make disciples. Not just attend church, not just listen to sermons, but step into the calling to influence others for Christ. So grab your coffee, take a deep breath, and join us as we think out loud about a faith that’s bold, reproducible, and maybe just a little terrifying.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Build Your Life

Good morning and welcome back to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D!  Grab your coffee and join us as we unpack this week’s message from Coast Life Church titled “Build Your Life: Prove It.”In this episode, Pastor D challenges us to take a closer look at how we’re building our lives—and why we should never underestimate what God can do when we actually let Him get to work. We’ll talk about personal growth, faith, and what it really means to finish well when God gives us something to do.Along the way, Pastor D gets real about leadership—why being “in charge” isn’t always as glamorous as it sounds, and why staying humble while leading others can be harder than it looks. He’ll share a few stories from his own colorful past, including some moments where the lessons came the hard way. We’ll also dive into the topic of wisdom—how to recognize good advice, avoid the bad stuff, and why sometimes the loudest voices aren’t always the wisest ones. Pastor D even shares a story about a time he followed some truly questionable advice… and let’s just say the results were memorable. Finally, we’ll talk about why following God’s path sometimes means ignoring the crowd. Because when you’re walking in faith, not everyone is going to understand what you’re doing—and that’s okay.So pull up a chair, settle in, and join the conversation as we think out loud together. You might laugh a little, learn a little, and maybe even walk away with a fresh perspective on how you’re building your life.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Build Your Life

Good morning, friends, and welcome back to Thinking Out Loud with Dr. Anderson! This week, we’re diving into Sunday’s message: “Generosity That Looks Like Jesus.” And trust us—you’re going to want to hear this one.Dr. Anderson is filling in for Pastor-D at Coast Life Church this week, and he’s bringing more than just a sermon—he’s got jokes too! We’ll kick things off with a behind-the-scenes look at his early days as a medical intern, how he unexpectedly found himself at Coast Life Church, and how he used charm and good looks to woo his wife into paying his rent while he was doing his medical residency.Along the way, Dr. Anderson shares how he reconnected with Jesus in a fresh way—and how tithing became a meaningful and transformational part of his faith journey. Then we’ll jump into the heart of the sermon. What exactly is tithing? What’s it for? How do we do it faithfully? And how is it different from simply giving generously? We’ll unpack the differences between tithing and generosity—and why both matter deeply in the life of a believer. We’ll also explore what it really means to be a steward of God’s blessings and how giving with joy shifts our perspective from temporary returns to an “eternal return on investment” that truly lasts.Whether you’re curious about generosity, wrestling with questions about giving, or just love a good story about faith and growth, this episode promises insight, encouragement, and a few smiles along the way.Pull up a chair and join the conversation—we’re thinking out loud together.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Good morning, and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D ! Pull up a chair, grab your coffee and join us as we unpack the highlights and heart lessons from Sunday’s message at Coast Life Church. This week, we kick things off with an update on GrandPastor-D, checking in on his recovery and celebrating the progress of healing — proof that prayer, patience, and probably a little stubbornness still work. Pastor-D will also touch briefly on the unfolding Epstein story, offering a little perspective before we turn our focus to more uplifting territory. From there, we dive into the sermon, exploring the idea of our relationship grid — who belongs in our lives and why it matters as Christians. Pastor-D will help us spot the “right Paul” in our world as we consider the people who shape our walk.Next, we’ll talk about cultivating friendships that do more than pat us on the back — the kind that cheer us on and lovingly call us out when needed. Pastor-D will share a few stories from his own journey in pastoral leadership, along with the lessons he’s learned along the way. We’ll wrap up by exploring what it really means to mentor someone else, and how to know whether you’re ready to step into that role — because shaping the next generation of believers is a calling, a responsibility, and occasionally a test of your faith.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Please join us this week as we go through Pastor Phil's journey through finding a new kidney! We'll open up this week with some background about Pastor Phil's experience leading up to receiving his new kidney. We'll also speak with Denise Albritton about her decision to donate a kidney and how unlikely the scenario was that brought them together.Pastor Phil will then take us through the Sunday sermon contrasting our physical health with our spiritual health. We'll discuss how important it is to take care of our physical health so that our abilities to live out God's plan for us is not disturbed. Additionally, we'll discuss what it might look like to overdo it with our physical health and how vanity sometimes plays a part in the process.Pastor Phil will then tell us about what it's like to have a new lease on life with the donated kidney and what he thinks about how God does miracles through regular people.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Good morning! Welcome to another edition of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us this week as we discuss some current events in the news and go through the sermon from Sunday's worship service. We'll open up this week, just like Pastor-D did in the sermon, talking about Hillary Clinton and her comments about what she calls "her Christianity." We'll see what Pastor-D has to say about people who claim to be Christians but don't advertise the fact that they are. We'll also hear about the Coast Kids' trip to Grandpastor-D's recovery unit to lead worship there. We'll also discuss the attack on one of the United States' Muslim members of Congress. Pastor-D will tell us whether he thinks the fix is in and what we should do with this person. As we get into the sermon, we'll pick up from last week talking about grudges and whether they serve to protect us in any way. Then we'll talk about some of the reasons that people tend to worry more about their outward appearance rather than what's going on inside of them. We'll talk about vanity, what a really healthy heart looks like and how to get to that in our lives. Finally, we'll discuss our relationships with other people and how being unhealthy on the inside can lead to relationship destruction on the outside. Pastor-D will tell us how to go about working on our love for others and how listening to our hearts or emotions can lead to problems.Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Pastor-D will also give us his opinion about Greenland and how the POTUS is handling negotiations with other countries. We'll then delve into the many reasons we find ourselves trying to get revenge on others, holding grudges and expressing disappointment. Pastor-D will walk us through the reasons why and give us some practical advice on addressing these types of issues in our own lives. We will go on to talk about righteous anger vs. ego-driven anger and when righteous anger is an appropriate response to conflict. We'll also find out exactly what Jesus meant when he told us to get the log out of our own eye before we try correcting others. Finally, we'll go in-depth on grudges. We'll discuss how we use them to protect ourselves and what grudges might do to our own character over long periods of time. We'll also touch on the death of Scott Adams and remind everyone about the dangers of taking a pragmatic approach to our faith. We'll then discuss truth, what it is and why it is required in order to receive God's grace in our lives. Pastor-D will also tell us about the dangers of overemphasizing grace and risking the avoidance of recognizing the sin involved with experiencing that grace. Additionally, he'll tell us how to let go of guilt when we've been fortunate enough to experience grace. We'll talk about the woman who committed adultery and how, sometimes, we should consider the perspective of the woman rather than the crowd. Pastor-D will also tell us how he believes that Jesus may have been set up in that situation. Finally, we'll discuss anger and rage. We'll talk about how quick we are to experience anger and rage and how to slow our emotional response so that our anger doesn't jump out in front of everything. Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Build My Life

Hi and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we discuss this week's sermon at Coast Life Church...and other things. We'll open this week with an update on GrandPastor-D and his progress through his hip surgery. He's actually expected to make an appearance at Church this week! We'll then get deep in the woods with some listener questions. First, we'll address the role of our spirituality in helping us to recover from mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression. Then we'll address the question of whether belief in God as a pragmatic approach to the afterlife is something that will get us into Heaven. Finally, we'll discuss the political violence around the US, why it's occurring and what Jesus would do in these situations. Our sermon this week was about being like Jesus. We'll investigate how to be like Jesus not only in how we behave, but how we go about our daily lives. We'll also discuss the "rules" that Jesus left for us and why some people have such a hard time believing that they can follow them. We'll then ask Pastor-D about why he thought Jesus was "hangry" and how we should interpret his actions in cursing the fig tree. Finally, we'll talk about how lonely it must have been for Jesus when he lost connection with God and was bearing the burden of our sins at the same time. Pastor-D will tell us what the most important example that Jesus left for us and how we should use that example in our own lives.Coast Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Build Your Life

Hello and welcome to another episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we delve into a new sermon series entitled: Build Your Life.We begin this week with an update on GrandPastor-D and his recovery from surgery. Then we'll compare a kingdom to a democratic republic and try to decide what Jesus would say to us when we go to vote.We will then go into a couple of listener questions about Jesus' love for those who are NOT saved and whether telling the truth is more important than maintaining harmony. Also, we'll discuss where the line is between preserving harmony and being righteous.Pastor-D will then contrast the differences in "trying harder" and "enjoying more," and show us how these two things are not the opposite of each other. He'll also tell us how to ensure that we are not trying harder at the wrong things. Finally, we'll discuss how significant the presence of God is in Heaven with us. We'll discuss how to relate that to those who may not be saved and how to NOT measure God's love for us in terms of what we have or what we get in this life.Coast Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Angel's Song

Hello and welcome to another episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we do a deep dive into our Church's most recent sermon: Angel's Song - Favor Rests. We'll begin with a review of Pastor-D's most recent hunting trip. Then he'll update on GrandPastor-D and his progress in healing from a broken hip. We'll talk about modern-day billionaires and see what Jesus would think about a handful of people in the world holding the vast majority of wealth and power. We'll also get some clarification on a previous question Joe asked about God's glory. As we begin with the sermon, Pastor-D will tell us about the different ways that God provide favor to us and how some people have issues believing that they are favored simply because bad things happen to them from time to time. He'll also clear us up on why the Bible tells us to face reality when we know that favor and peace are with us.Pastor-D will then delve into the question of the day: when receiving God's favor, why do we focus so much on outcomes rather than simply requesting his presence? We'll learn what "declaring" God's favor means and what it looks like when someone receives God's favor consistently. As a bonus, Pastor-D will give us some information about the "lost" gospels that didn't make it into the Bible and where we can find some accurate information about the times and happenings of the days that aren't necessarily listed in the Bible.Coast Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Welcome to another episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we discuss some of the topics from Sunday's message at Coast Life Church: Angel's Song. We'll start this week with a couple of listener questions. Pastor-D will then tell us why so many of us seem to be afraid and/or intimidated by God. Additionally, he will tell us what worship will look like in Heaven and what it looks like to worship with passion, desire and obsession. As a bonus, he'll tell us where the food door will be located when we get to Heaven. Finally, we'll discuss being "still" and what the Bible means when it tells us that sometimes we have to wait in order to get God's answers to our prayers. We also have a special guest in-studio to deliver our closing prayer this week!TOLWPD is brought to you by: Trinity Taxidermy and HeLo Heating and AirCoast Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D? Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we dive into Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church.Today we'll start off talking about Pastor D's experience with Keto bread and how you might just need to put mayonnaise on both sides for it to taste good.We will then get into this week's song for the "That's My Jam" series, which begs the question, how important is it for us to look for meaning in our lives?Next we will talk about how we aren't called to settle but instead continue to move forward and not become stagnant. This sets us up for success, especially in spreading Christianity. It's okay to ask God for things when praying even if they are things we don't necessarily need. God can use even "silly" blessings to further his glory. We'll get into what some of those blessings could be today on Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D! Coast Life Church WebsiteCoast Life Church on FacebookCoast Life Church on YouTubeCoast Life Church AppPlease send any questions to Joe at <[email protected]> or text to 228-365-4156.If you would like to be added to the podcast's text-to-listen service, please text your name to 228-365-4156.If you are interested in helping out with the podcast, please get in touch with Joe Flynt at <[email protected]> or call/text to 228-365-4156.Interested in advertising on the podcast or have a question you'd like answered by Pastor-D?
