Real Struggles, Real God. | Jeremiah W1 | Pastor Hunter

Students today face real struggles; anxiety, pressure, insecurity, rejection, and too often those struggles get overlooked or minimized. But the truth is: what you’re going through matters. In Week 1 of our new series, we dive into the life of Jeremiah, a young, insecure, and unqualified voice called by God in a time when no one wanted to listen. Rejected by his own people, ignored, and constantly opposed, Jeremiah’s story reminds us that following God doesn’t mean life gets easier, but it does mean you’re never alone. This message unpacks a powerful truth:Your struggle is real… but so is your God.No matter what season you’re in, God sees you, knows you, and still has purpose for your life. Even when you feel too young, too overlooked, or too unqualified, God is still with you.If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or not enough, this message is for you.

All Scripture Is Breathed Out By God | Pastor Hunter

This week at youth, we leaned into a question that could completely change your walk with God:👉 Are you just reading the Bible… or are you actually studying it?Coming off Spring Retreat, it’s easy to feel on fire for God, but what happens when life goes back to normal? In this message, we break down the difference between casually reading Scripture and truly diving in, studying it, praying through it, and meditating on what God is saying.Looking at the story behind Psalm 52 and the life of David, we see how understanding the context of Scripture can completely transform what we get out of it. What seems like a simple chapter becomes a powerful reminder of God’s justice, His unfailing love, and the importance of knowing His heart. We also talk about why it’s so important to test everything we hear against God’s Word, and how Scripture isn’t just something we read, it’s something that feeds us, shapes us, and anchors us.If you want to grow deeper in your faith and not just go through the motions, this message is for you.Don’t just read the Word… let it change you.

ALL IN | Pastor Logan Tonn

What does it really mean to go all in with God?Last night, Pastor Logan challenged us with a powerful message out of 1 Samuel, looking at the story of Saul, someone who partially obeyed God but held back just enough to miss what God was asking of him. Instead of fully following God’s command, Saul kept what he wanted and spared King Agag… and that compromise cost him more than he realized. The truth is, partial obedience is still disobedience. This message pushes us to ask a hard but honest question: What am I holding onto that’s keeping me from going all in?Whether it’s control, comfort, sin, or something we’re not ready to surrender, God isn’t asking for part of us… He’s asking for everything. If you’ve ever felt stuck between following God and holding onto your own way, this message is for you.

FRIENDS | The One With All The Feelings | Week 8

In the final week of our Friends series, we talk about one of the most important and most confusing topics for students: dating and marriage. Culture has a lot to say about how relationships should work, but what does the Bible say?In this message, we walk through six biblical principles for dating that help guide healthy, God-honoring relationships. We talk about why it matters who you date, having the right intentions, pursuing the same purpose, honoring boundaries, protecting purity, and surrounding yourself with accountability.Dating was never meant to pull you away from God, it should push you closer to Him. Whether you’re dating now or thinking about relationships in the future, this message will challenge you to approach dating with wisdom, purpose, and a desire to honor Christ.

FRIENDS | The One Where We Are Better Together | Week 7

This week in our Friends series on relationships, we talk about the importance of our relationship with the church and the body of Christ. God never designed us to follow Him alone. Throughout Scripture we see that believers are meant to live in community, encouraging one another, supporting each other, and growing together. In this message we explore why being connected to the church matters, how every believer has a role in the body of Christ, and why the enemy often tries to isolate us through lies, division, or feelings that we don’t belong. From biblical examples like David and Jonathan to the early church in Acts, we see that God’s design for His people has always been community, not isolation. If you’ve ever felt disconnected, wondered where you belong, or questioned why church community matters, this message will challenge and encourage you to stay planted and build meaningful relationships within the body of Christ. Recorded in East Missoula on 3.25.2026

FRIENDS | The One With The Authority Issues | Week 6

In Week 6 of our Friends series, we’re tackling a topic that can be difficult, but is incredibly important: authority. From parents and teachers to bosses and government leaders, we all have authority in our lives… but how we respond to it says a lot about our hearts. In this message, we look at the life of David and how he honored authority, even when it was unfair, difficult, and even dangerous. We also unpack what it means to trust God’s placement of authority, how to handle disagreement the right way, and why honoring authority is ultimately about honoring God.Key Truth: You don’t honor authority because they’re perfect, you honor authority because God is.If you’ve ever struggled with authority, felt misunderstood, or disagreed with leadership, this message will challenge and encourage you to respond differently. This message was recorded at River of Life church in East Missoula on 3.18.2026.

FRIENDS | The One With That One Person You Can't Stand | Week 5

In Week 5 of our Friends series on relationships, we tackle one of the hardest commands Jesus gives: love your enemies. It’s easy to love the people who love us back. But what about that one person, the one who hurt you, betrayed you, talked about you behind your back, or just drives you crazy? In this message, we look at Jesus’ words in Matthew 5 and discover that loving our enemies isn’t about pretending everything is fine or becoming best friends with someone who hurt us. It’s about choosing forgiveness instead of bitterness, prayer instead of revenge, and grace instead of grudges.Through the parable of the unforgiving servant and other teachings of Jesus, we’re reminded that we forgive others because God first forgave us. Holding onto bitterness only poisons our own hearts, but forgiveness leads to freedom. If we truly want to live as children of God, we must learn to do what the world rarely does, love the people we can’t stand.Listen in as we talk about letting go of grudges, dealing with bitterness, and learning to conquer evil with good.

FRIENDS | The One Where No One Sits Alone | Week 3

In Week 3 of our Friends Series, we talked about one of the most influential relationships in our lives: our peers. Jesus calls us the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13–16), which means we aren’t meant to blend into culture we’re meant to stand out in it. But the way we stand out isn’t through perfection, it’s through identity. When our identity is rooted in Christ, our words, attitudes, and actions begin to reflect His light everywhere we go, at school, online, and in our friendships. This message challenges students to stop living in negativity and defeat when Jesus has already given us victory. Through Scripture, humor, and real life examples, we unpack what it looks like to walk in gratitude over grumbling, faith over fear, and light over darkness. From the Samaritan woman to the call to be a lighthouse in a dark world, this sermon reminds us that we are called to influence, not isolate, and that our generation needs believers who truly reflect Jesus to their peers. Recorded at River of Life in East Missoula on 2.18.2026

FRIENDS | The One With No More Fake Friends | Week 2

What does real friendship actually look like in a social-media generation? In Week 2 of our Friends series, we talk about the difference between fake friends and real friends, and why so many friendships today feel temporary, shallow, or transactional. We unpack the idea of contract friendships: relationships based on benefits, convenience, or proximity, and contrast them with covenant friendships, the kind of relationships God models throughout Scripture. Friendships that don’t disappear when things get hard. Friends who confront in love. Friends who walk with purpose, not just proximity.Using biblical examples like David and Jonathan, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, this message challenges us to rethink how we choose our closest friends, and how we show up as one.If you’ve ever been burned by fake friends, avoided hard conversations, or wondered why some friendships never go deeper, this message is for you.Because friendship isn’t a subscription… it’s a covenant.

FRIENDS | The One Where They Have Relationship With God | Week 1

Where does Jesus meet people? Not in perfect places. Not when they have it all together. Not after they clean up their mess.As we kick off our Friends series, we look at how Jesus first called His disciples: fishermen at work, a tax collector in his sin, doubters full of questions, and what they became after encountering Him. From ordinary lives to world changers, their stories remind us that Jesus meets us right where we are… but He never leaves us there. We also talk about Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42 and how Jesus cares more about relationship than performance. Whether you feel distracted, unqualified, stressed, or stuck, this message is a reminder that Jesus is not waiting at the finish line, He’s stepping into your real life right now.No matter your past, your doubts, or your current struggles, Jesus is still calling: “Follow Me.”Take a listen to week one of our Friends Series.
