The old preacher said, “When you start believing what they say about you when you get up to preach … Your in TROUBLE!  The guys discuss today keeping a right perspective on who we are and what that really means in the ministry.  

Sadly, there are times when we receive news that breaks hearts and sometimes devastates others.  We get news that a spiritual leader has chosen sin over the right of God’s Word and they are then disqualified from a part in ministry.This week Dr. Stone & Pastor Wolvin discuss how we should respond to that and guard ourselves against it happening in our own lives.

Medicinally there is sense in using alcohol, in GREAT moderation in a doctor’s care but outside of that what possible benefit could their be for a Christian or anyone for that matter to consume Alcohol?  Our guys answer with some common sense today.

When you understand that a person is DRUNK, inebriated, altered at just .02%  alcohol (1 beer) in the blood, can we ask, would you want your surgeon to have that much, or a dentist, or your Pastor? signed Dr. Al Stone and Pastor Dan Wolvin!

The question was asked and a tragedy this week brings a MUST for this week's topic on alcohol and it’s effects.  Listen as Al and Dan discuss what the Bible says about the consumption of alcohol & how Christians should deal with it.

Unfortunately there are times when those that could just won’t because someone has become an enabler.  The guys look into some causes and effects when someone is maybe … too helpful. 

When that word comes that something is wrong or going to go wrong there are some steps that you need to take to be as ready as you can.  Dr. Stone and Pastor Wolvin lay out a plan of attack for those hurting and those helping the hurting.

A listener is looking for advice on how to help a friend whose world has been turned upside down.  Al and Dan have accepted the challenge and are on it.  Let’s see what they’ve come up with.

Is there a place for those who are just not ready to join? Is there a place of service for them within the church?  Guess who has some answers? That’s right the dynamic duo of TiimTalks.

Baptism is an important part of church membership.  Those saved need to be baptized and those who have been “baptized” in some others churches may require a proper Biblical baptism.  Dr. Stone & Pastor Wolvin discuss some of those times that someone may need to be baptized to join the church.

The guys get a great question this week pertaining to church membership.  Tune in as Al and Dan talk about some of the finer points of church membership.

Overcoming those feelings of burn out can look like a very long road but we have two guys standing there cheering you on with some good Biblical and practical advice and then their is Al and Dan, no wait, that IS them!

Could that smell be … burn out?!  A listener asked the guys if they could dedicate a week to what seems many if not all struggle with at one time or another.  Always wanting to please their Tiimies, they have agreed … So … here we go!

They guys give us the third and final option they want to offer up as an opportunity to further our education.  On this episode they explore the on line school idea that many are availing themselves to today.  Listen now as Al and Dan discuss other ways to further your education.

Maybe college is not your thing.  Too big, to expensive, to far from mommy and daddy are just some of the reasons people have for not going.  Many chose to attend a local church institution so they can stay home and help their church.  Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone look at some of the pro’s and con’s of the institution program.

Whether it be a Bible college or secular there are some choices to make when you think about furthering your education.  Cost, distance, courses and atmosphere are just a few things that play into that decision.  Al and Dan will guide us on a course that may make that decision just a little easier this week.

Some things just need a little tweaking.  It was good but not great. Maybe you have time to fix that but unfortunately our co-hosts are running out of time.  To help us they give us a few things to watch for in our lives so that we don’t come in second like they may have.

There are no mulligans in life and way to many when Al and Dan play golf.  There are no do overs but there are chances to make some things right.  Today Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone look at some things they wish they had not done in their lives.  If you listen close you might hear some similarities to your life.

Ever looked back at your life and thought … "I wish I had done" …. we all do, including the super hosts of Tiim Talks.  Today Al and Dan take us down memory lane to look at somethings they wish they had done in hopes of getting you to do the same in your life.  

Are you a repeat offender of a particular sin or have to deal with someone who is.  The problem most often is that the root of the sin is never fully dealt with.  Without the roots killed off the weed resurfaces after a time.  Dr. Stone & Pastor Wolvin deal with cutting to the cause today.  

When we sin, we sin against GOD but often people get injured in or by our sinful actions.  Too many neglect or refuse to make right the wrong that is brought to others in their sin.  The guys take careful steps in guiding us through the process of helping others to be restored to us when hurt by our sinful actions.

There is an absence of right in many christian lives today it seems.  Sin is brushed off like lint and little is said or done about it in personal lives and within the confines of many churches today.  Al and Dan hit hard this week the need and the process of getting right once we have sinned.  Listen in as they challenge all of us to be right before our Holy God & with those we may have injured in our sin.

Outside of the possible blended family are some other things to consider when putting together a blended family.  There are those who are not directly connected but they have a very strong tie that binds them to this new family.  Have you considered that?  Well Dr. Stone and Pastor Wolvin have.

Kids should be one of the greatest concerns when blending a family together.  Sadly many set that aside hoping things work out.  Some serious questions need to be answered before you say I do.  Al and Dan ask some of those though questions today.

Blended families is a very real thing today and sometime a little tricky.  A great listener sends in the question that gets our guys to really thinking this week.  Get ready for real, honest and heartfelt response to a tough question.

With immigration has come Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Taoism and others.  The guys talk to us today about what impact if any of these have made or will make on our societies. 

One might ask does prejudice prevail here?  Are only those who are white, right? Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone make their case on this issue today.

Europe has been embattled with the problems of a huge influx of Islamic population over the past 10 years and now we are seeing the same growth in North America.  How should Christians view this?  Al and Dan take this week to discuss what this may mean to the Christianity of our countries.

Sometimes friendships don’t last or shouldn’t last.  Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone tell us today some of the things that can bring harm and end to friendships. 

Getting and keeping friends are two different things.  Keeping good friends requires some things that  Al and Dan know a little something about and are willing to share with us today on this episode.

Some really struggle today to find and keep friends.  Two of the friendliest guys we know are going to share with us some tips to help us find and keep good and hopefully life long friends.

Could some of the mental health issues of our day really be demonic activity in our generation.  Al and Dan take a look at this very serious thought on today’s episode.

We never like to think of our Pastor being anything but indestructible but the truth is he is a mere mortal used by God.  The pressures of the Pastor can be a great challenge for some.  What should a Pastor and or the church do when the Pastor suffers from some mental health issue?  Al and Dan are on it. 

Have you heard the terms mental health, anxiety, stress and breakdown far too often of late?  How should Christians deal with mental health issues?  That’s the crux of this weeks episodes.  Listen in as Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone take a close look at the sensitive issue of Mental Health.

How you receive the truth makes the truth more easy to receive sometimes.  That’s not always easy to do though.  Good thing we have our co-hosts to help us in this matter.

A pastor writes in and presents and interesting situation.  Two people are living together and declare they are wed but have never gotten a marriage licence.  Are they married?  Our co-hosts open that can of worms today.

What about those who want to get married outside, to an unsaved person, without a preacher? Just a few of the questions Pastor Dan and Dr. Al discuss today.

There are some who reject the marriage license because the accept the social assistance.  If we make vows publicly isn’t that enough some would ask?  Al and Dan try to make sense of those who think that is ok.

Edison, Hershey, Ford many of the great idealists suffered great loss before they finally found the answer.  The same is often true in ministry as well, just ask our co-hosts, oh wait, someone did … listen in.

Sometimes the best of ideas can bomb or backfire and we have two guys hosting that no lots about that.  Pastor Al and Dan have some good ones for you today.

The question asked was when should you start a new ministry, class or church?  Guess who has some pretty good ideas? We couldn’t find anyone either so we are just going to go with Al and Dan (LOL).

When you take a position under someone’s leadership you better know as much as you can about that leader.  You should also know about the church and pastor if your are choosing a Christian School and …. a few more things that Dr. Stone and Pastor Wolvin will fill us in on this episode.

The job that you pick, especially in the ministry, should be one that is going to equip you for much more than what you had when you started.  The guys are going to tell us why in this episode.
