From Fame to Faith - With Granger Smith: Story of loss, redemption and the Gospel
Country music artist turned minister Granger Smith joins the TJ Mauldin Leadership Podcast for a powerful conversation about life, faith, suffering, and true conversion. In this episode, Granger shares his story growing up around Christianity, pursuing a successful music career, and living what he now describes as a “nominal” faith, knowing the language of belief without truly surrendering to Christ. Everything changed in 2019 after the tragic loss of his three-year-old son, River. In the depths of grief and despair, Granger found that the foundation he had been standing on couldn’t hold the weight of his suffering.Through a desperate cry to Jesus, a season of searching, and a life-changing encounter with Scripture, God began transforming Granger’s heart and understanding of the gospel. What followed was a deep hunger for God’s Word, a renewed understanding of salvation, and a calling to pursue ministry.

Motivation is Overrated
Welcome to the TJ Mauldin Leadership Podcast, where we talk about life, leadership and the Gospel. If this is your first time listening or if you are returning from last season, we are so excited you are spending a part of your day with us. On this episode, TJ talks about discipline dominating motivation. We all have had those days where we hit the snooze button or we just wished we had more more motivation to do something. In reality, motivation is fleeting and discipline dominates. We hope you enjoy this episode and would love to hear from you!
