Toolbox & Testimony
by Tanner Van Beek
Every Christian needs a "toolbox" where they keep specific Bible passages and truths that they can grab and use in everyday situations. This podcast has a dual purpose. One, to equip listeners with a trusty set of tools. Two, to share stories of God's faithfulness in the lives of real people. Started by Tanner Van Beek, a campus ministry worker based in Des Moines, Iowa.

1. Cheap Grace vs. Costly Grace
Season 2 kicks off! The grace that God has shown to us through Christ Jesus has largely been cheapened by churches that preach a soft, inoffensive gospel. This soft gospel insinuates that the blood of Jesus was spent frivolously and people can acknowledge Him verbally but go on living the way that they were before, with no real sacrifice. But we know that soft gospel is wrong. The blood of Jesus is effective and costly, and requires a bowing of the knee. We must rediscover costly grace!
