Jordan Anderson joins the show. After serving for many years in DMACC's campus ministry, Jordan and his wife, Lexi, have recently moved out to Providence to be a part of a church plant/new campus ministry. 

A worldview needs explanatory power, a way to explain why the world is the way that it is. There are 8 questions a worldview needs to answer. In this episode, we look at the first two questions: What is real? What is the nature of the world around us?

We will be starting a series on worldview in order to better help us understand the people that we are called to love and minister to. In this episode, we define what a worldview is.

Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) the American revivalist preacher, is arguably the greatest philosopher/theologian to have ever been born on American soil. His most famous sermon, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, is so prolific that it is still required reading in many high school literature classes. In order to make it more accessible, this episode starts with a small bio that introduces a rendition of the sermon.

Season 2 kicks off! The grace that God has shown to us through Christ Jesus has largely been cheapened by churches that preach a soft, inoffensive gospel. This soft gospel insinuates that the blood of Jesus was spent frivolously and people can acknowledge Him verbally but go on living the way that they were before, with no real sacrifice. But we know that soft gospel is wrong. The blood of Jesus is effective and costly, and requires a bowing of the knee. We must rediscover costly grace!

Vinny Njane, a senior at Drake University, joins the show to share his personal testimony and his passion for service on the last TNT episode of the season. 

I share my hot-take suggestion about when we should try to read our Bibles, and give the reasoning behind it.  

Jen Davis, current Grand View staff member and future Rhode Islander, shares her testimony and talks about the pursuit of wisdom.
