Torah Stories
by Rabbi Eli Ben Haim
One of the most powerful tools that teaches Jewish values & principles is a story. My late father of blessed memory, Chacham Baruch Ben Haim, was very famous for using stories & parables in his teachings. He would often quote the Maggid Midubna in his famous parables on the weekly Parasha. It is well known that Rav Nachman of Breslov & the Ben Ish Chai would relate their teachings through stories. In the last 4 decades, I have followed this tradition in my Torah deliveries. It is my hope & prayer, that with the new project of Torah Stories that the lessons of these stories will reach the entire Jewish world, and serve as an elevation for the holy soul of my dear father, Baruch Refael Ben Miriam.
