Réflexions sur la génération Z : La génération immergée dans le monde numérique
Les membres de la génération Z sont les premiers à grandir avec un accès facile et rapide à internet, et ce, dans un grand nombre de pays. Leur immersion dans le monde numérique n’a pas seulement changé les informations qu’ils consomment et la manière dont ils y accèdent : elle a façonné ce qu’ils considèrent être important. Comment les ministères chrétiens devraient-ils réagir ? Dans ce premier épisode de « Réflexions sur la génération Z », Emmanuel Bagumako commence par présenter brièvement la génération Z et son immersion dans le monde numérique. Pour ce faire, il s’appuie sur les conclusions du rapport de l’IFES intitulé « Réflexions sur la Gen Z pour le ministère étudiant mondial ». Ensuite, Emmanuel, secrétaire régional désigné pour l’Afrique francophone, accueille un panel d’invités issus du réseau de mouvements étudiants chrétiens de l’IFES et d’ailleurs. Gen Z Insights: The Digitally Immersed Generation
Gen Z is the first generation to grow up with fast, easy internet access in a wide range of countries. Their digital immersion hasn’t only changed the information they consume and how they access it; it’s shaped what they value. How can Christian ministries respond? In this first episode of Gen Z Insights, Peter Dray, author of the IFES Gen Z Insights for Global Student Ministry report, provides a bite-sized orientation to Gen Z and their digital immersion. Afterwards, series host Annette Arulrajah, Associate Generation Secretary of IFES, is joined by a panel of guests from the IFES network of Christian student movements and beyond. Together, they discuss what digital immersion looks like for university students and young people in their contexts, and how we can respond to the challenges and opportunities of ministering among this digitally immersed generation. High hopes for the European Student Festival, with Christian Pichler and Ulvis Kravalis It will bring hundreds of students together from over 40 movements across Europe. It will offer deep fellowship, new friendships, and plenty of fun. It will help them consider what God’s “Kingdom Come” can look like in their contexts. The European Student Festival (ESF) will take place in Latvia this August (16-21). On this Voices of IFES, two ESF organisers share how it can change students’ lives and impact movements and campuses.
