Ep. 01 | Does our approach to miscarriage line up with our pro-life stance?

A few things:* When I say women are safe at twelve weeks, I mean “safe” as in many assume that.* Please excuse my children occasionally cackling in the background. My husband was watching them—I promise I don’t lock myself in the office and let them run wild.Quote mentioned by Nancy Pearcey:This explains why being biologically human is no longer thought to confer any moral status or to warrant legal protection. To be human is no longer equivalent to being a person. Human life has been reduced to raw material with no intrinsic purpose or dignity, subject to whatever purposes we choose to impose.Order my book on miscarriage here.As always, let’s continue the conversation in the comments. Introducing: We Should Talk About This, A Podcast

Welcome to We Should Talk About This!A few things:This podcast will not be edited. I’ve got two small kids and your girl doesn’t have time for that nonsense. The episodes will be relatively short (some longer than others). You may hear kids in the background. Listen, I have two boys and I’m convinced they are the loudest children on God’s great earth. There will be a few episodes about miscarriage because of my book recently releasing, but this podcast will cover a variety of topics. What this podcast is:* a place to chat about a variety of topics that affect us as Christians.* a place to start a conversation.* a place where we don’t shy away from hard topics (except politics to protect my own heart from sinning against my fellow image-bearers—know your limits). * a place to ask questions and learn from others.* a place where I hold unashamedly to truth and also to kindness, seeking to be nuanced in my discussion and gracious in my speech. What this podcast is not:* a space for me to rant.* a space for you to rant. * a space for your best friend’s aunt’s cousin to rant.* a space to demean others or call out others publicly by name. * a space where I think I know it all or pretend I have it all together (I don’t.)I hope you’ll listen in and more than that, that you’ll share your own insights and thoughts. I wanna hear from YOU. Please don’t make me talk to myself on here ya’ll. I’m begging you. If you’re excited or even mildly interested, share so we can invite others into the conversation!Episode 1 will release August 4th.Treasuring Christ is a reader-supported publication.
