Welcome to Dismissed Life Ministry

Sharing the motivation in writing "Dismissed: Lessons Learned From Sin Addiction." Each chapter is briefly presented. Over the next several weeks, I will share each separately and discuss their role in my journey to redemption.

Redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ is the key to living a faith life. Many of us who have fought addictions will believe the lie Satan presents us, causing us to delay a response to God's invitation of salvation through His Son. When we finally decide to trust Christ as our Savior, we can then begin to learn how to live a victorious life of faith - even when others doubt our decisions.

Which do you crave: the love for the world or the love of the Father? Focusing on 1 John 2:15-17 we will point out that the lust of our flesh, the lust of our eyes, and the pride of life hinder our love. Why is that? Because we discount the meaning of how sin impacts our lives.

Using Ps 34:18-19 as the guiding principle that drives our ministry, we will honestly present Scripture and real talk to expose what is necessary to facilitate God's power and presence in recovery. The redeeming power of Christ and His Word will set those seeking help on the road of redemption.
