Father Anthony with Tony and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father Anthony discusses the Consecration to our Lady that took place yesterday. They discuss the beauty of the event and the beauty of prayer. Father mentions that today is the Feast of the Ascension and they discuss this as well as the need for Convergence. After prayer and a break, Father then turns the mic over to Alice Babij (Bobby) to continue her presentation on the book, “This Joyful Eastertide, by Rev. Scott A. Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he tackles feminism in Christianity.  He welcomes author Carrie Gress to discuss her book on the topic titled “Something Wicked: Why Feminism Can’t Be fused with Christianity”.  Together they tackle the topic and highlight some of the points made in the book. They touch on the seven elements of feminism and the creation of a shadow church as feminism seems to act as a religion of its own. Father greets everyone and the group catches up after the weekend.  Father leads us in prayer along with the litany.  After a break, Father turns to the readings from Sunday and discusses the sacrifice of Jesus, his death, resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  He chats about living a sacrificial life as God calls us to do and a move towards personal metanoia. Discussing a recent experience with the holy baptism, then switches gears and mentions the ongoing egoistic nature of society and the polarization being experienced in the church.   St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

Father greets everyone and mentions how energetic he felt at waking this morning and how he feels he seems to have lost that beat. Alice Babij joins us today and tries to be uplifting but the group veers off into somber topics, leading us into prayer including the litany. After prayer, Father warns the group he will be posing a question after a break. After the break, Father poses the question “Is Jesus my friend?”.  He references the gospel John 15:14 “If you keep my commandments, then I call you my friends” and discusses the nature of our relationship to Jesus to unpack and discuss the ideas around this question. Father greets everyone and leads us in prayer including the Litany.  Today Father and the group contemplate the questions, “Does God love Lucifer?” and “Can God forgive Lucifer?”  They have a thought-provoking conversation on the subject being reminded that God created Lucifer and the only power that God does NOT have is the power to love us! It’s Monday and Lauretta has as her guest, Alicia Hartle, Executive Director of Pentecost Today USA. This leads the trio into discussion over their thoughts on how to grow in faith and the need for silence. This leads to them “just reminiscing”.  After a break, Father leads us in prayer, then switches gears and mentions the polarization being experienced in the church; he touches on the seminarians who lean into the traditional church versus the progress movement within. This leads the group to discuss the role of women in the church and in families and the establishment of male priest only in the Catholic Church. Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he tackles many of the points that King Charles made to Congress during his US visit to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America.  Fr. Koys wrinkles your brain to contemplate the words King Charles spoke.  He shares clips of comments made and then analyzes and shares his thoughts on the clips.  Fr. Father Kenneth Onyema Amadi, Director of Church Life Africa, an organization that exists to support and promote the growth of Catholicism in Africa.  The organization began with mobilizing and training the laity to lead and work in the new evangelization in Africa, the fastest growing area in the Catholic Church.  Fr. Scott Haynes.  Alice Babij (Bobby) joins Father to review the book as we reflect on the actual last seven words spoken by Jesus at his crucifixion.  The meditations and reflections of this book hope to prepare the soul for deeper contemplation offering a path into Christ’s heart at the time of his sacrifice of all, for us. Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he tackles Feminism in the Church.  Father Koys tiptoes through the minefield of feminism, masculinity and Christ and His plan for us using Cary Gress’ book titled, Something Wicked: Why Feminism Can’t Be Fused with Christianity. It’s Monday and Lauretta has as her guest, AnnMarie Miller of the organization Aid for Women. Lauretta leads a discussion with AnnMarie as she talks about the organization.  AnnMarie share the programs and services available to women through their organization.  AnnMarie discusses how they help inform and support women, offering assistance so that the women can make the choices best suited for themselves. Father offers prayer at the opening of the show.  After prayer Father talks about seven catholic traditions that are quietly coming back as we happily continue to see growth in the number of persons joining the Catholic Church.  Father shares an article, “Are We in the End Times?”, by Father Joseph Gill.  Father reads from the article as they discuss and contemplate its applicability.  The author references differences that he points to that are impacting our times.  He identifies seven differences that impact our culture, our world, our times. Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he tackles Birth Tourism and Just War Theory. Father Koys discusses what Birth Tourism is and how it ends up affecting who votes and who we are as a nation pointing out that we are a nation searching for identity as we suffer through an identity crisis.  In discussing this he makes relational connection between how we become a citizen and how we become a catholic: vowing fidelity to the US and accepting Baptism being born into Catholicism. Later he discusses the 5 aspects of the Just War Theory.  He reviews each aspect of the theory and discusses his interpretation as to how they apply to the current war.   After the final break he delves into his analysis of the application of the Just War Theory in the war with Iran.    St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

They open the show picking up on yesterday’s commentary about the current times were living in and the state of the world; war and fear of escalation. Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony regroup today after the Tridium and Easter Sunday.  They chat about the current times we're living in and the state of the world; war and fear of escalation. They try to turn to the better topic of Easter and Father recounts the story of the young man coming to terms that there is a God and he needs to accept this and stop living in denial.  Father comments on the beauty of that acceptance and discusses how the gospel calls us to love and obey God.  His hope is that ALL come to this realization and live a life according to God’s Law. It’s Easter Monday and Lauretta has as her guest, lay Catholic evangelist and author of 11 books, Maria Valdia. Lauretta and Maria discuss the Miracle of Easter recounting the harrowing story of the rescue of the second Airman and WSO (Weapons System Officer). This airman exclaimed God is good at his rescue. Lauretta and Maria celebrate and recount the life and work on behalf of the Holy Spirit by Father Tom DiLorrenzo who passed into Eternal Life. Lauretta and Maria lament the demonic infiltration in every aspect of our lives and how with the power of the Holy Spirit working through our enthusiasm and prayer can defeat evil with the Gifts that the Holy Spirit empowers us. It’s another brain wrinkling Wednesday as Father Tom takes on his sabbatical travels near Knoxville, TN. Father Koys takes us into a Protestant worship space where there is praise and worship with a stage and no mention of the Trinity. The Pascal Mystery isn’t considered as congregants are urged to accept only Jesus as their Lord and Savior with no mention of who He is. Notably absent is the reality that Christ is 2nd Person of the Trinity and that Christ will send the Holy Spirit. Father Koys noted that in this Protestant worship space there is no concept of intercessory prayer with the Communion of Saints and that the fullness of Christ’s teaching is not realized. Lauretta discusses the tragic murder of Loyola student; Sheridan Gorman killed at the hands of an illegal alien not detained because of “sanctuary” dictates as well as the senseless murder of Katie Abraham.
