During his tenure as Passaic High Basketball Coach, Marshall took his team to its first Group State Basketball Championship at the school since 1929 and was a three time recipient of “Coach of the year“, Marshall was instrumental in securing scholarships for 48 of the 54 seniors he coached.Marshall took his talents as a basketball player to The USBL's Connecticut Skyhawk where his regular season average of 21.6 points and was seventh highest in the league.
