Lydeffekterne og musikken i Bond-serien har inspireret Peters arbejde som lyddesigner på film som "Vores mand i Amerika".  Peter er tidligere vært på "P2 Soundtrack" og stor fan af John Barrys Bond-musik. Vi taler om, hvordan den oscarvindende mixer Norman Wanstall skabte lyden af bl.a. Oddjobs hat, og hvor forbløffende godt Gert Fröbe er eftersynkroniseret til engelsk som Auric Goldfinger. Peter deler også sin begejstring for scenografen Ken Adam og fortæller om at indvie sin 11-årige søn i 007-universets politisk ukorrekte elementer. "Mit liv med Bond" er produceret i anledning af, at CinemaXX København fra 11. juli til 28. september 2021 viser en kavalkade med alle 26 Bond-biograffilm, inklusiv “Casino Royale” fra 1967 og “Never Say Never Again” fra 1983, på stort lærred i digital 4K-kvalitet.
