Le bernard-l’hermite ne cherche pas une nouvelle coquille parce qu’il s’ennuie.Il la cherche parce que l’ancienne lui fait mal.C’est la première chose que je voulais te dire. Parce que c’est exactement là où j’en suis en ce moment.Dans quelques semaines, je quitte mon contrat en restauration. Je quitte la France. Je pose mes affaires à Split, en Croatie, avec trois valises et une idée de ce que je veux construire là-bas.Ce n’est pas un coup de tête. Ce n’est pas une fuite.C’est juste que la coquille ne me va plus.Le bip des friteuses. Ce son aigu, incessant, qui finit par te rentrer dans la tête à tel point que t’apprends à t’éteindre un peu pour supporter. La douleur dans les pieds après dix heures debout. Et surtout, le moment où j’ai compris que j’étais un chiffre. Pas une personne. Un chiffre.Ce jour-là, j’ai senti les bords.Sentir les bords c’est pas dramatique. C’est juste réaliser que tu dépasses de ta coquille. Que ce que tu es en train de devenir ne rentre plus dedans.Ce que j’aime chez le bernard-l’hermite, c’est qu’il ne part pas à l’aveugle.Il a repéré la prochaine coquille avant de quitter l’ancienne. Il l’a observée, tournée, testée. Il sait où il va. Vulnérable, oui mais une vulnérabilité préparée.C’est ça que j’essaie de faire depuis un moment. Préparer ma prochaine coquille avant de sortir de l’ancienne.Est-ce que c’est parfait ? Non. Est-ce que j’ai peur ? Honnêtement, un peu. Est-ce que la coquille actuelle me nourrit encore ?
