01: Letting Go of Lies with Imani Kigamwa

In this episode, Imani shares a bit of her story and how she started to change herself to win the approval of others. Through a difficult transition to a new city and school, she started to believe the lie that she wouldn’t be loved or accepted if she was her authentic self. We talk about how in college, God met Imani and helped her to see, through community, the lies she was still believing, even though her circumstances had changed. We talk about dreams Imani has for her life and how she wants to help others experience God’s love.
