023: How to Foster Courageous Conversations with Katherine Eitel Belt

In this episode of The Story Project, we're joined by Katherine Eitel Belt, a leading coach in unscripted communications and founder of Lionspeak. Katherine's journey into dentistry began as a chairside assistant as a mere job for gas money, but evolved into a passion for coaching, consulting, and communication. We dive into the importance of courageous conversations in any professional setting. These discussions, she explains, are vital for clarity, setting boundaries, and aligning team goals.  For women leaders particularly, there's often a fear that assertiveness may compromise their femininity or kindness. However, Katherine stresses that effective communication empowers individuals to express needs confidently without sacrificing these qualities.     The Story Project is a video-driven, story-telling podcast diving deep into the stories of men and women who have chosen dentistry for life. We're all craving connectivity, and real conversations are the answer. Join us for a behind-the-scenes look where we discuss who you are, why you chose the dental field, the highs and lows of the industry, and the mark you want to leave on the world. If you're a dentist interested in being a part of the Story Project, I'd love to hear from you! @joannafscott www.joannascott.com
