028. "I don't have a fatty liver any more!" - Mario

from Life After Sugar · host Netta

In this episode, Mario tells me about how he grew up in Québec, Canada. At home, his parents naturally ate what would now be considered a keto way of eating: low in carbs and starches, no snacks, plenty of meat. When he got together with his then-girlfriend, he started eating a "normal" diet like she'd grown up with. Despite his active lifestyle and "healthy" diet, he kept gaining weight. When he started getting back pain, he went to see the doctor. X-rays showed nothing, even though his pain kept getting worse. It turned out to be his liver: all the fructose he was eating had given him a fatty liver. So he started educating himself, about sugar, about science, and about low carb/keto fasting. And it transformed his health and his life! He's now a coach for Clinique Reversa in Québec, Canada, here: https://cliniquereversa.com/For step-by-step guidance toward freedom from cravings, get your copy of my new book: "Break Free from Sugar Cravings".
