He is the founder and advisor of Better Days, an organization that provides soul care and counseling for pastors, where they deliberately use the outdoors to bring healing, rest, and a renewed vision for their ministry. He is the author of Go Outside, The Adventure of Knowing and Being Known by God. Chad was the lead pastor of CyFair Christian Church in Houston, TX from 2012 - 2017. He currently blogs at goingoutside.org, where he is currently writing a list of 51 items that he has learned about himself, the world, his observations, regrets, hopes and fears, from turning 50 in recent months.
