The oven is your friend. Dice veggies into even sizes, toss with olive oil and salt. Voila! As the veggies roast, they will caramelize on top and bring out a whole new depth of flavor. Create more filling burgers. Take leftover roasted veggies, toss them in a food processor. Add them together with ground beef or pork, mix with an egg. You now have a burger with more nutritional value and more flavor. Use seasonings on your veggies. You can’t go wrong with coarse ground pepper.
